[PKHeX] Gen 2 -> Gen 7 before Virtual Console release?

Hey there, I gotta quick question

Will it be possible to transfer Generation 2 Pokemon to Sun & Moon BEFORE the Virtual Console releases?  I say this because I play Gold on a rom and want to transfer the Pokemon to Sun and Moon before the 22nd of September (because waiting nearly 4 months for a VC game is absurd)

 It would be so cool if PKHeX could implement it before the VC release!

I don't know about @Kaphotics views on this,
but this functionality will almost certainly end up with a lot of bad hacks going up onto USUM via Wonder Trade and GTS, before GS VC release.

As much as it's a long wait i'm just glad it will finally be possible.

It's been almost 14 years since we got Ruby / Sapphire in the UK, to find out it's not possible to transfer Pokemon from GEN 1 / 2. I can wait another few months to transfer Pokemon which have been stuck in GEN 2 for 14+ years!

Well, while it may not be official,(and not through PKHeX) there are many fan-made guides and programs that can convert gen 2 Pokemon into a gen 3 save.

To that end, it will probably be almost exactly the same as Gen 1 to Gen 7.

It will probably be exactly like Gen 1->7, as in Gen 2 VC->Bank->Gen 7.
