nscf Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 If you're talking about a file, it's probably a Pokémon file available on gen 8, 9. I'm modifying the above because the translator is not of good quality...
nscf Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Hmm.. I'm testing it again, the Pokémon file was well recognized before, but suddenly I get an error...

nscf Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 I was able to drag this file and use it for the Scarlet Save file, I was also able to check the Home Tracker, but it suddenly doesn't work even under the same conditions... In the worst case, I can ask him to trade again, dump it again, and convert it to .pk8
nscf Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 Hmmm... all of a sudden all the Pokemon files I got using this tool on my pc are not available... they all worked, I haven't modified them

Anyways, we do already have the wondercards for those Pokémon in our GitHub Event Gallery, but thanks anyways for the contributrion!

Blunern Posted April 28, 2024 Posted April 28, 2024 A long time ago, I bought a japanese Leaf Green with 14 event Pokemon. I'd like to share them with the community, but first I'd like to check their legality. In Pkhex, some are marked as legal, and some aren't, and I'd like an expert on this to take a look at them before doing anything. Could you kindly help me to check them, please? pk3.zip

It's legal, I have the gen 4 pkm file version of this Jirachi which means it's at the very least cloned, and my copy of this Jirachi was transferred from Pal Park on August 10, 2010. It could be possible that yours was recreated in gen 3. Same goes with the Jolly Negaiboshi Jirachi. My gen 4 copies of that Jolly one were transferred from Pal Park on August 27, 2007 and March 5, 2008. The rest are not legal. 1
nscf Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) Hello! First of all, I apologize if my English is unnatural... I’ve been using a Gen 4 Pokémon cheat that I downloaded a long time ago from a Korean Naver blog. Among the various cheats, there was one related to distributions, which caught my interest. I think I might have seen his Naver blog mentioned on pporg, but I’m not entirely sure. Since I can read Korean, I thought I could take a closer look at the cheat files, so I decided to write this post. While using this cheat, I realized that it contained most of the distribution data that pporg is currently searching for. So, I decided to extract all of them! All of the distributions, except for the Member Card, were in the Korean distribution list, while the Member Card was in the item list. The Wonder Cards obtained through the cheat appeared to be identical to the originals, except for one noticeable difference—they had unlimited Sending the Cards uses. I contacted the creator of this cheat to ask if he still had the original PCD and PGT data, and he told me that he had uploaded them to his Naver blog a long time ago. Unfortunately, he said that they seem to have been deleted. I used two consoles and performed a Get a From Friend transfer to distribute the Wonder Cards obtained through the cheat to another save file. The Wonder Cards in the save file that received the distribution could no longer use Sending the Cards, and they appeared to be identical to the originals! The files I uploaded include most of the Gen 4 Korean distribution PCD and PGT files that pporg is looking for, as well as the original cheat! Although I cannot guarantee that these PCD and PGT files are 100% clean, it would be great if someone could analyze them! I hope this helps! Have a great day! I deleted the cheat file. Please check the blog below! Korean Gen 4 Distribution.Zip Edited February 7 by nscf

The Pikacafe wondercards match all the research I have found for them (Wondercard titles, descriptions, Tangrowth's ability), but the 3 Pikacafe wondercards listed in there are fake as well. Edit: Adding on to this, personally for specifically the Pikacafe wondercards, I would not trust them unless they came from a select group of people. The Electivire, Magmortar and Tangrowth were only given to 32 people at the location (16 tournament entrants plus their +1 they brought along to the event). I have a list of names of most of the people who attended, 17/32 names that attended Electivire/Magmortar, and 20/32 names that attended Tangrowth. Unless a wondercard has been sourced back to one of them, I would consider the Pikacafe wondercards to be faked even if most of its information lines up to my research. I'm unsure how many of those people were deep in trading circles, some may have traded out their Tangrowths back then but Korean wondercards in gen 4 needed to be backed up using a flashcart. Nowadays, it's very likely none of those 32 people kept their wondercards in the 3 viewable cards in the card album, and a lot of the Korean trading scene nowadays doesn't approve of hacking, much less cloning. So you would need to find someone in this group who attended and was deep enough in a trading scene to know how to extract their wondercard back then and hope that they have it kept somewhere. I have asked 2 people about their Tangrowths, and neither of them have kept their wondercard. Edited February 15 by ICanSnake 1
MagumRedux Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I'm here to contribute a Mew I received during the summer 1999 trainer tour. I went to this event at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro MA. It was one of those events where you could sign up for a tournament and earn little round cardboard badges that looked like POGs. I don't have an exact date, but I do know it happened before the official English release of pokemon yellow, as I remember there being a kiosk where you could try playing yellow for a few minutes. The distribution took place in a separate area with staff members asking you to make sure you had one empty space in your party (I wish I'd experimented to see what happened if you had multiple slots open.) They took the cart from you, transferred mew onto it, then gave it back to you with an official certificate of authenticity that had the original watercolor mew art on it and your mew's trainer ID. The OT is LUIGIE- I remember thinking how weird it was that Nintendo would spell Luigi wrong, until I learned that other distributions in that era used OTs like LINKW. I think the E is to denote that it was distributed in the eastern area of the US. This is from my original childhood Red save file, which I've kept alive over the years using a combination of pokemon stadium, battery replacements, and using my gameshark for GBC's snapshot (save state) feature to preserve my original trainer ID. I did train this mew up a bit since I was a kid with no impulse control, so it's level 20 with some EVs. I'm submitting it as is instead of trying to use PkHex to de-level it. 0151 - MEW - 203C.pk1 1

Rob125 Posted May 22 Posted May 22 (edited) Hello, I'm registering to share, though I'm not an expert (in fact, I haven't played Pokémon in 20 years). I just extracted the save 36 hours file from my Pokémon Yellow game, a save from over two decades ago. In this save, I have all 151 Pokémon in the Pokédex, including a Mew from trades of that time, the original trainer, according to the game, is ASH (ID 43053). ATK 5, DF 4 SP8 SPC 0. Catch rate 45. I taught it moves using TMs, but I don’t remember if I originally obtained it at level 100 or if I trained it up to that level. I don't know if it's from some event or not, but it's extremely old. The cartridge still has its original battery, which holds approximately 2V. I can share the save file or the pokemon file. Edited May 22 by Rob125 More info 1

Rob125 Posted May 23 Posted May 23 If necessary, I can also send the game save. Now that I notice, when saving the file in Pokehex the Mew data does not match what the program itself shows in the save of the game. Save is from spanish version. 0151 - MEW - 624A.pk1 1
FamilyGuy0395 Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Hello. I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I just had a question about the Gen. 1 Surfing Pikachu (https://github.com/projectpokemon/EventsGallery/blob/master/Released/Gen 1/Classic/International/Nintendo Power 1999/RBY - YOSHIRA (05238) Pikachu.pk1). Is there anywhere I can read up on how y'all verify legitimacy for these event Pokemon? The only reason I ask is I see some strange oddities with the Surfing Pikachu (has a nickname PIKCHU and PKHeX says it was encountered in the Viridian Forest). (By the way, I just want to be super clear. I am not casting any doubt or dispersions on any member of this amazing team that is backing up any of these event Pokemon, I just would like to educate myself so I feel comfortable that I have a legitimate event Pokemon in my save file that I can use.)
