Roberts
I realize this is 2013, but I'd like to work on this as a project. I have all the supplies besides the Ecard dumps.I have a Japanese Colleseum, Japanese Ereader, and a printer capable of making ecards. I even have a USA ereader, japanese and usa emerald. If any of you still have access to the ereader dumps and are willing too share them, I will share my results.

Ikhana
Wow, this is interesting.. so if scanning the cards works, there would be three "new" English event pokemon? =3 I've recently fought through all of the trainers from the e-cards in the Japanese Colosseum myself. So I can confirm that catching the three extra shadow pokemons will increase the total value of pokemons on the save file.
jojo12100
Arg, I failed! When I connect e-reader to gamecube and speak to the hostess my e-reader displays that message "Communication Failure". I don't know what it means, maybe it's the link cable? Or it's because I use a PAL version? EDIT: Don't work with PAL Versions but it works US version. Does anyone know how do promo cards (2 released and 1 unreleased) work? LEGOanimal22
So, has anyone caught these so called "unreleased events?"
HaxAras
I'd really like to see If this goes anywhere or where it goes. I cannot modify my games/disks in any way. Soon as I get A job I'd happily buy A modded disk and high quality printed E-cards though. Right now I'm working on beating the Jap Colosseum to upload my save to some forum to help people get Ageto Celebi using it. That reminded me of this and peaked my interest again. TheHeatedMo
It's 2014, I've just figured out all the steps to print cards, just need to buy photopaper and I can test this.
HaxAras
I've had interest in this for a very long time. I'm still looking to get a printer and Jap E-Reader/E-Reader +. I've got complete English and Japanese saves for Colosseum so I could just scan the cards and finally get these Pokemon. My goal is to eventually just buy the card packs online. If anybody is interested in a complete Japanese Pokemon Colosseum save let me know. I've uploaded it to the internet and used it to get a few Ageto Celebi. Lum
Ageto Celebi was translated after all. I didn't create the AR code, just wrote down some info on its effects. http://tcrf.net/Pok%C3%A9mon_Colosseum#Japanese_Bonus_Disc
POKEMONMASTER260
I actually tried to see what would happen if I would replace the ex_shrine.fsys, ex_coupon.fsys, ex_title.fsys, & ex_top.fsys files along with a few other files within pokecolo_ex.tgc in the Japanese Bonus Disc iso with the versions of those files from American Colosseum. Here were my results:

Here were my results: I shouldn't get too hopeful. Not a hacker. "Restoration project" if you will, would entail stuff like a button code for that menu and reverting back the eReader door warp. Cockatoo2
So let me see if I understand this correctly... If I buy a Japanese version of Colesseum and a Japanese e-reader. Then print out the cards I need for the e-card room, I would be able to get in without using any hacks? Also can someone send me the files I will need of the cards for the 3 e-Pokemon to get. In essence the cards I will need to print, can I get a download link to them?

What hardware do you have? It's been a long time since I read this. Is it just a Japanese E-Reader and the Japanese cards or did you print them out? Zerbe92
Thank you so much! What hardware do you have? It's been a long time since I read this. Is it just a Japanese E-Reader and the Japanese cards or did you print them out? I just used a modded Wii, Pal GBA, Japanese e Reader and the Colosseum battle e cards. I tried printing the cards multiple time but they wouldn't read in the scanner for some reason.
HaxAras
Alright, thanks for the help! I already intended to get the Japanese E-Reader and cards. I have a modded Wii as well as 2 region free disks and English and Japanese copies of all the gen 3 games in English and Japanese. I hope to someday use them on my original Colosseum save. Darken-Dragon_Knight
Hi, there Poké Friends. Sorry if I revive thes conversation, but I was wondering around and find out about that mysterious room, so I searched and end up here, willing to get at thes the files of the E-cards and I can scan them into the game, we'll at least try it out, because I own a E-reader+ Rom and the Pokémon Colosseum US version in the room, but I don't have any e-card :(
