Crazyninjaguy Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Definitely Cyndaquil, its the one i started with all those years ago
Kay Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Totodile probably, i used Cyndaquil to many times in the original silver and it's time for a change
EmperorDragon Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 Probably Totodile for two reasons. I picked Cyndaquil in the original Gold and Chikorita in Crystal, never had Silver so never picked Totodile. Also I used to like Chikorita more than the others but my preference has since changed to Totodile.
Legendary Arcanine Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 It would defiantly be Totodile he’s my Favorite 2nd generation starter Pokémon.
luigi16pikachu Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I'll definitely be picking chikorita!!~ the best grass type starter and also the cutest!! ^^
Klaatu Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 I'm still choosing Chikorita. I just remembered how many older gen Pokemon got some useful moves with DP and most of those who didn't where Johto Pokes. Maybe they're gonna improve those in the fitting Johto remake? Who knows, they could give Chikorita a new damaging non-grass move? D: Something against other grass Pokes would be nice or some Extrasensory...dunno
Shinypkm Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Chikorita. Especially compared to the Johto gameplay (good graphics or bad ones), the new potential Chikorita gained over the consoles would be a threat to use. I also love the little pokemon, definitely my 2nd if not my favorite starter for some reason.
Deities Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 I plan to choose Totodile, but will trade the other two over if trading is available at the start.
solomon800 Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 totodile, because I always choose the water type =D
OriginShadow Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Cyndaquil for sure. I chose cyndaquil originally, and I have no reason to change.
Relyte Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I think I might be changing my mind to Chikorita because it kinda makes you think more about your team than just one pokemon... I'm still torn between Chikorita and Totodile, though...
Toffeuy Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Definitely Cyndaquil for me. In my opinion, through all stages compared with the other same stage starters, Cyndaquil, Quilava and Typholosion all look the coolest.
chycorita Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Chikorita can use Synthesis! It is useful for long battles.
Substitute Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Chikorita!!! That's probably one of my favorite starter of the entire series!
ShiPrime Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 Ahh Totodile is my 3rd favorite and Typhlosion is 4th=/ I dont like totodiles later forms guess Cyndaquill for me :kikkoman:
Skyfire Posted July 8, 2009 Posted July 8, 2009 I'm taking Tododile, I've always toke the water type... idk why lool
shadowdude Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Chikorita cuz i like grass and it has improved since gold and silver:kikkoman::biggrin:
chycorita Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Chikorita. Its the only grass starter I like. It can use synthesis!!! So COOL. It would be better if it could learn leech seed. It's only an egg move...
Willstar Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I'm going to start with Chikorita. It's my favorite Generation II Pokémon, and when I played with it the first time around, it never fainted. I loved that little guy.
Akaria Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Cyndaquil, always gone for the fire-types, won't stop me now.
Awe Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I want to choose Totodile because he is my favorite but I want to use the Red Gyrados this time and I don't want two water pokemon on the same party so I may chose cyndaquil. Still debating
umbreonboii Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 im most probobly going to pick cyndaquil ,typhlosions part of my dream team so ill need a cyndaquil to get him
