It says...

Calm nature.

4/6/11

----------

Apparently arrived at Lv. 100.

Somewhat Vain.

That's what it says.

Happened to me too. Should be legal for WiFi though.

It was because it shouldnt be poketransfered.

I'm playing White. I made a Tornadus appear as if it's been transferred from Black. I had it met location (poketransfered) and had the ---------. Once I changed the met location to Route w/e. It said the Route instead.

Before and after was still WiFi legal though.

U only use (poketransferred) for Pokemon that came from a Gen 4 game like Plat or HeartGold. When swapping between Black and White, just use which route/location the pokemon was met and it will say "apparently met at....". That makes them legal...as long as the stats are within bounds.

How would I do that? It bugs me when it has the lines and not a rout there or something! Lol!

So, I have this Movie 11 Victini...

Are you saying to leave the PID the same, and just change the nature and IVs? Is that how I do it?

Posted
^That's fair enough but whenever I select the 'Method' box, Pokegen MAKES you select an option so how do you leave it blank?

Where the PID is highlight it and delete it. Leave it alone and save the .pkm file and reload it. The PID should be there now and correct.

So I just got some eggs from my real and legit pkmns and want to change their stats without making them looking hacked. I use Pokesav and created .pkm files of my legit eggs, changed their IVs and resaved them into another .pkm file. Are those pkmn still legit? Because I did not change nature/ability/shinyness I should not changed anything around the PID, right? Legit.exe says valid as "hatched" to me.

Are my pkmn still legit after they hatch? Are they even legit as an egg? Please someone be kind and answer my question =)

Thanks in advance!

@ZeroManArmy Thanks for that. I've got another question, does the PID rule apply only to gen 5 pokemon? Like if I was to create a Garchomp in Pokegen v3, would the PID rule apply or do I select method 1 despite it being created as gen 5?

Would the Pokemon made by this method be legit enuff for VGCs?

I'm pretty much riding on the fact if I can pass the Wi-Fi checker for random battles then my Pokemon are good to go to VGC...

Who knows what Nintendo might be checking for in terms of save file checksum or hidden Hex data

Location must be (Poketransfer) not poke transfer lab.

Posted

The leave pid field blank doesnt seem to work with transferred pokemon

Also... Will a pokemon be illegal if i just change the nick and original trainer names and leave out the wiered eschange sequence stuff

Posted

Transferred pokemon must have a valid PID. Marking a Gen IV pokemon as hatched will let you have any PID in Gen IV. As for the Nick and such. No.

Posted

Yes. But as I said before if you mark it as hatched the PID doesnt need to match the IVs and what not which normally you would need to do.
