Sorry for sounding like a noob, but how do I send a .pgf file to my pokemon white? I use pokegts.us to send the .pkm files, but it won't allow me to send .pgf files to my game. How would I do that? Thank you for any speedy replies.

Also, I don't have an action replay, so that's out of the question.

If you want to extract .pgt from black and white 512kb save file? What program do you use and how do you go about it?

Also, when I receive the wondercard or whatever it is called now for gen 5, do I have to not receive the event pokemon until I extract the .pgt?

Or can I receive it in pokemart/pokecenter and still contribute .pgt?

Try this tool

You can recieve the Pokemon from the Pokemart and still extract the Wonder Card, unless you specifically delete it.

I have downloaded the PP_Org gen IV events right. And I open up a .pgt on Pokesav (tried on both DP and Pt) and it comes up with an error saying "Wrong File Type!" I also tried with .pcd, and tried multiple pgts and pcds. I am on a Mac using Crossover, but this has never happened before. Suggestions?

Okay, I'm sure this has been asked before, but I couldn't find any answers.

Is there a way to convert the Mystery Gift .pgf files into .pkm files?

I don't use flashcards or any devices to change my save on my game, and I just run distributions, so I need the .pkm files only.

I need a converter, unless people here have some Gen V .pkm files.

Thanks in advance.

There is.

You'd have to use DeSmuME, then edit the save file with Pokémon Mystery Gift Editor to add the .pgf and receive the Pokémon from the delivery man.

Then you would extract the Pokémon from the save file using PokéGen.

Last step, you download IR-GTS-BW and send the Pokémon to your game via the GTS (If you don't have Wi-Fi, you're out of luck.

(When adding the .pgf using Mystery Gift Editor, keep it as it is (It should say Key Item or Unknown. Don't change it to Pokémon.)

When you click Save, it will ask you if you want to zero out the unused values. Say no (Not sure if it changes anything, but say no to be sure.)

There are other programs that probably would do the job better, like PokeGift2 from Pokestock BW.

Hi I was wondering if someone could help answer this question for me, it's probably going to make me seem like a complete noob but I don't care.

I downloaded the Japanese Movie Victini .pgf file from the archive and used PokeSav to install it as a wondercard on my game and it worked. However when the man gives me the Victini in the Pokemon centre, it's name is in English but it's OT is in Japanese. The WonderCard shows up as Japanese with all the text in it's Japanese state but Victini's name and it's moves are in English. I was wondering if the Victini would be considered Illegal if I use it online with the moves it has...Should it's name be in Japanese for it to be considered legal?

I'm using a UK retail version of Black with AR. I've attached the code below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

All the pokemon you received from the guy in pokemon center will be named based on your game region, so if your game is UK or US then it will spell English Victini.. If you received them in a Japanese game then it will have Japanese name.. But the moves will always follow the game's language..

So if you want your Victini to looked legal then receive them in a Japanese game then trade them over to your UK cart..

Is it possible (in Black and White) to put Japanese Events onto an English game? I know it is possible in Gen 3 and 4..

Yes, by editing your save file via PokéSav. You wouldn't be able to do it normally, though.
