FLOOTENKERP
Is there any way to soft reset for an egg before you receive it to make it shiny? Or is it already set from the beginning of the game?

wraith89
And I know I'm missing Tentacool and Riolu, of all pokemon I'm going to work on them as soon as I make dry poffins for Aphrodite, here... Wow, I named my Milotic Venus... >.> Tentacool is EVERYWHERE! How are you missing that? He's in almost every bodies of water... the Zubats and Geodudes of water... surf between Canalave and Jubilife City for them. Riolu is found from Riley's egg. Alternately, go to Oreburgh Gate and go to the northern section and rock smash and enter the lower levels of the cave. Surf around and you'll find a trainer with Riolu. And that's it. 46 is found in that route in the south of Veilstone. There's a Beauty with a Wormadam. You have Lucario but not Riolu? Hacker -__- 117 = Wooper. They're all around Great Marsh and the route to the west of Pastoria. 133 = Octillery. I'm really sure one of those fishers near Sunyshore has one. If not... fish out a Remoraid and evolve it. It evolves at level 26ish or something. 134 = Finneon. Ooh... someone has it, I'm sure. But if you can't find it, fish one out with a good rod near Sandgem or something. 135 = Lumineon. It's her evolved form. Super Rod them. They're almost everywhere. 136 = Tentacool. Seriously, the Rattata of the water routes... Surf around the route b/w Canalave and Jubilife 148 = Azelf... Lake Valor (below Veilstone)... NAO. 170 = Glaceon. Find a trainer in those snow routes. One of them (a girl I believe) has one. 192 = Porygon. There's a FREE Porygon for you in the house above the Veilstone's Pokemon Center. Get it! You don't travel around Veilstone City much, now do you? EDIT: Got 209 as of right now...and if Tentacool is the Ratata of the water, then why the HECK is he the last one I need to get?! pokemonfan
Is there any way to soft reset for an egg before you receive it to make it shiny? Or is it already set from the beginning of the game? Ok, I think I'm write but not sure. Now eggs 1 step before they hatch all that information on stats and probability of being shiny is decided. Something like that and I dont believe it is set in stone that is only for manaphy unless you trade it before it hatches. I do believe that by soft reseting you can obtain a shiny egg pokemon. ______________________________________________________________ 46-beauty on a route from veilstone to pastoria who has all formes of wormadam 115-Honestly? Just get the egg... 117-Wooper, he is all over in the great marsh 133- Octillery -In the water before elite four, I think he is pretty common 134-Finneon-valley windworks fishing with the good rod. 135- You could catch it but its hard to get - Evolve finneon at level 31 136 (Tentacool) Just surf, I cant believe you haven't found him... 148-Azelf! oh my gosh that is one of the easiest ones...you just have to go battle it at the lake. 170-glaceon-trainer-evolve an eevee at that rock in the blizzard by leveling up by it. 192-someone in veilstone will give it to you via trade. I forget what he wants. Hope this helped!

How is Tentacool not so easy to find? Seriously, Surf around that route between Canalave and Jubilife... or the path to Victory Road. I don't care about your objections, just do it! They're DEFINITELY the Rattata of the Waters... Make sure you're not using Repels. That's why you can't find them.

pokemonfan
I'd think it be random wouldn't it? I dont think that it means anything. What is the significance of hatching it in mt. coronet?
wraith89
I'd think it be random wouldn't it? I dont think that it means anything. What is the significance of hatching it in mt. coronet? Mt. Coronet is DEAD center of Sinnoh. West side gives Pink Shellos and East side gives Blue Shellos. What happens when you hatch it in the middle? :creep:
pokemonfan
Interesting...wouldn't it just be randomized then? You'd have to test it from several different angles such as.... Pink parent (PP) and PP-egg hatched in mt. coronet Blue parent (BP) and BP-egg hatched in mt. coronet The test that's done already BP and PP-east side BP and PP- west side PP and PP- west side then east side BP and BP- west side then east side Then chart all of the results then you can come up with a logical answer to the question. You'd have to do it several times too for each combo. I'm not going to try it because I dont care. I just dont think that just hatching it there will prove anything at all without other data to see if it matters. Does a BP and BP guarentee a Blue shellos or does it matter on where they're hatched? There is still data that isn't presented that I think needs to be in the equation in order for accurate results.
