Hello! I'm having trouble on trying to open my SAV of Pokemon SoulSilver in PKHeX, let me explain: I play on my Nintendo DS Lite through R4 Cartridge, and then I have exported the SAV on my CARD to the PC. I've could load it on DesMuMe, but PKHeX can't identify it as a SAV. I want to trigger the Spiky Eared Pichu Event, just for my fun and don't want to go through "cheats" (unsure if PKHeX to trigger an event would be cheating). But I'm stuck with this error. Could anybody help me? I'm using the lastest version of PKHeX 4781 - Pokemon SoulSilver (U)(Xenophobia).sav

PKHeX is open source, you can see its conversion routines. Overriding your settings to No will skip updating things to match the save file. Eggs from other trainers must be traded, so they must be updated to be met as a link trade egg instead of from daycare. Handler states and memories must be adjusted as if a new (or previous) trainer is handling it. When no, it skips doing all that, which lets you inspect the original values. Again, you shouldn't need to override it.

Hey @Kaphotics my pokémon alpha sapphire cartidge is corrupted. I tried reparing it with the cartidge unf*cker tool, and it did work, but for some reason, it appeared on the screen, this save data is corrupted. I deleted the save with the xb and up combination. I went through the "choose your language" screen and launched the game, but I got the same error as every time, oxd900458b. I deleted the main file through FBI, and the game runned normally until I pressed Start, in the "Start Game" menu. Once I did it, the error oxd900458b, appeared again, and i can't fix it. Is it fixable?

This new bundle corresponds with v0.7.0, that have not changed, the only difference is I have updated the dependencies, the reason for that is to stay clear of vulnerabilities in the supply chain. I do not have too much time to develop further currently. The only dep still on an old version is gtk since there is problems with cross compiling to windows the new versions (4.13 and up), it is still on 4.12.5-r1, previously it was on 4.12.5. gemetool-windows-portable.7z

Solano replied to thechamptoend's topic in ROM - NDS Discussion & Help
Yeah that seems to be the only way to figure out the stats I've only been able to figure out natures and some of the pokemons ev spreads through doing calcs and mirror matches to see if I out speed or not getting a actionreplay to catch them so I can truly see the stats -

Thank you. I wasn’t sure how closely PKHeX replicates in-game transfers and whether it would need to modify some data. It sounds like it won’t make a difference when choosing either gen 3 or 7 as PKHeX will make sure each generation recognizes the Pokemon as originating in XD. Out of curiosity, what data does override modify? Is it like deleting moves that don’t appear in that generation and changing the met location description to reflect coming from a previous region? Would this also mean the Pokemon would be understood as originating from a trade and not input by Pokemon Bank?

Thank you so much! May I ask, can checkpoint also inject HGSS save files into genuine physical cartridge? I’ve read somewhere that HGSS saves are encrypted a different way or sth? Thanks again :))

Hi, Since Nintendo already shut down online services and pokemon bank is free to use, can anyone share their .cfg and .sav files for sky3ds+ Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire with Shiny Perfect 6 IVs Ditto inside so that I can transfer it to Pokemon Bank and used it on other Pokemon games for breeding purpose? Thank you very much. PS: I do not want to mod my 3DS as I want to keep it original as it is.. thanks again

Hello! Honestly I'm not too sure how the two versions of the patches interact - the versions of the xdelta files in the nogba folder should only be used for the no$gba emulator, while the ones in the melon folder should be used for any others (as well as hardware). All I can suggest is making sure you're using the one from the appropriate folder and keeping to it.

This is my save files on my orginal Pokemon Cystal cartridge that I have had since I was a kid. Recently replaced the battery and started a new game. This game starts out shortly after you get your starter pokemon. However I made some changes. Once you hatch some eggs that are lready in the game or go to the day care. You can really begain to customize your team. (NOTE: This file is diffent then the one I did over a year a half ago. That was a completed save file.) t has a cool decorated room from Mystery Gifts items, Pokémon From PYNC event Pokémon, lots of shiny Pokémon, and lots of Pokémon that can be used for Pokémon Stadium 2. Enjoy!!! 1) has a cool decorations for room from Mystery Gifts items 2) Pokémon From PYNC events 3) pokemon from pokemon stadium 1 and 2 4) pokemon that are only in gene 1 5) lots of shiny Pokémon 6) lots of useful items added 7) pokemon that can only be caught in Kanto or very late in game. 8 ) Has the GS ball added to the game -

PKHeX new update legality errors (contribution page)
HappyMaractus replied to theSLAYER's topic in PKHeX
1. How I caught the mon: Location: Alpha Sapphire Pokemon Link from the ORAS Special Demo Level: 40. Had all badges on Alpha Sapphire file at time of receipt. All Changes: Haven't changed anything. 2. The PK file: See attached. 3. PKHeX Version Number: 20240505 Unexpected Legality Issue: "Invalid: Event gift has been nicknamed." I nicknamed the Glalie in the Demo before sending it to my Alpha Sapphire save. It should be completely legal since I just got it in and from the Special Demo yesterday. 0362 - Jyn Erso - 63AF539E774A.pk6 -
Can checkpoint backup DS flashcart saves
AlamosIT replied to MelvinC's topic in Saves - Editing Help
DS saves are not encrypted and they are usually directly stored in the SD card, so simply put your R4 SD card inside your PC and look for [game name].sav -
1. Why would PKHeX want to be any different than how the games work? You can always try it and see -- you'll see that PKHeX retains everything the same way the game would. 2. You don't need to do each step one at a time. PKHeX chains all the conversions together for you. 3. You shouldn't need to override it from the default, so Yes/Cancel is the correct option for you. It's only useful for advanced users just wanting to inspect data unmodified. Trades update things and ensure it ends up in a legal state (like traded eggs or memories).

PKollecter started following Pokemon XD to gen 3 or 7

I still have uncaught Shadow Pokemon from Colosseum and XD. I want to capture and transfer them to Home. However, it would be over a hundred Pokemon and over a hundred trades from Gamecube to gba (not counting all the other steps). I was thinking of using PKheX to inject them into a save, either gen 3 or gen 7, but I am still new to the program. If I understand PKheX properly, I will have to dump all these Pokemon from their boxes into the PKheX database and then load them into the boxes of the new save file (gen 3 or 7). My questions are: • Would this method retain all Pokemon’s OT, stats, natures, ribbons, etc? Or would some data be different than Pokemon transferred up normally? • What generation, gen 3 or gen 7, would be recommended for the smoothest data transfer? • Should I select yes or no when the PKM loading override prompt appears?

Not a valid dump. Open it in a hex editor, and you'll see that data after offset 0x498 is just repeating junk.
