I have encountered a promblem that I failed to unlock Atomic Wastes even I recurited Deoxys via a battle. I tried to pass Fallen Star Remains again,but it is of no effect. Now I complete all the dungeon about world treasure except Atomic Wastes mentioned by Scizor. Is this a bug?

So, a couple of years ago, my save file of Pokemon Ultra Sun randomly got corrupted I believe right after using the GTS and receiving I think a Venusaur or Blastoise, not fully sure. Upon the GTS trade happening, the game crashed showing me I think a godmode 9 failure, and when I tried to open up the game again, it told me my save file was corrupted. I was stupid and didn't think to backup my saves every now and then, and especially it didn't occur to me to try to regain my save file until many years later when I came back to the Pokemon scene. I have some valuable pokemon here and there, but the ones that matter most to me are my team members and my og team I transferred from Sun including my mystery gift mythicals. I have about over 1000 hours of progress, maybe even more as I would play it every single day when I was younger. The save does mean a lot to me, so I would love to know if it's possible to restore the save data, or if I'm out of luck and have no choice but to restart from the very beginning with nothing. I attached my save file that pksm extracted, but it doesn't work with pkhex due to being corrupted from my testing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it's bad news only. main

Can you please provide a link to the program you are using? I haven't come across GameCube RNG before.

Different emulators store the RTC data at the end of the save file differently. PKHeX does not do any conversion between emulator save files. Try finding a converter online, or refer to the emulator documentation online.

okay that worked thank you. I have one more question though. I also like to transfer my saves between mgba on my pc and retroarch on my steamdeck. is there any way to merge the rtc and srm files? Simply converting the srm into a sav file results in the same error, for what I assume are reasons related to how it doesn't contain the rtc hex data.

Update your program. The program tells you it is out of date.

I have been playing some pokemon games in japanese on emulator. The emulator I have been using is mGBA. Every time I try to import my japanese crystal save data into pkhex I keep getting this error: I don't know why it's giving me this error. I assume it has something to do with the file size or region differences because it will accept an english sav just fine. I would appreciate any help on this issue. BDSP does not have trash bytes on Eggs; you can clear the trash bytes via the trash byte editor (hold control and click on the nickname text box).

Open the save file in a hex editor, and set the width to 0x1000. You can then look for the end part of each block to see where each block resides in the file. Generally, they're stored in order, but they start saving from a random block ID and loop until all are saved.

I'm looking for a cheat that will count as an escape even if I give up midway through a dungeon (the same result as using the escape orb). I would prefer the Japanese version, but cheats from any country are fine, so please let me know.

Hi, I have a problem with the newest PkHex... ALL the eggs I get from the Nursery in BDSP are marked as ''illegal'' for the following reason - ''Trash Bytes should be cleared.'' However, no matter how much I clean them up, PkHex STILL show my eggs as illegal, even though they were obtained from the Day-Care (Father is a Venusaur, mother is a Ditto). Here's one of the Bulbasaur Eggs from my save file. Never traded the Eggs to another OT. The dad, Venusaur, is from Scarlet (DLC) while the mother, Ditto, was caught in the Grand Underground on the same save file the Egg is from... so nothing hacked out there. IS this a PkHex glitch... or something I dunno about? 0001 - Œuf - F1142455D7ED.pb8

I am learning all of this still, so thank you very much! I have a few questions, I keep seeing blocks 1-4 mentioned. I have looked at the wiki on save data structure. I see where it lists where certian info exists. Where do blocks start and end? Is block 1 0000 - 0FFF? I will try doing the same with a separate file of my own to get better at this, thank you very much.

Referring to the wiki on save file structure and the recovery tool's output, your save file is missing critical parts of it (namely, blocks 0, 1, 2, which store your party, game progress, and trainer information). So there's not much to be able to recover besides box data. I copied the 3 missing blocks from a donor save file (mine) and ran it through the recovery program to even out the blocks. My save file from my OG emerald game has been corrupted. This is my last ditch effort! Through many forums, discussions, and videos I have searched. I have read the other discussions here and abroad. I have used the RecoverSaveGen3 tool by Kaphotics to no avail. (Shoutout to him for the tool and information online).. I have pulled my save file into HxD and looked through the Hex data. It seems most of it has been corrupted and shows FF.... PKHex will not open it the save either (listed as too large a file / corrupted). When booting the game it says, "The save file has been erased due to corruption or damage." There is no other option other than starting a new game. I am 100% sure it is not bootleg, I own 20+ copies of GBA pokemon games I am aware of fakes. The cartridge's contacts have been cleaned and the save remains the same. I pulled the save using Epilogue Operator. (Something I did not own when this happened years ago) I am aware this is most likely not fixable. @Kaphotics Hi Kaph, I know it's been years since this thread was originally created but just wanted to follow-up: is there any way to easily pull the info for each Pokemon registered in the Shadow Monitor (so I can retrieve PID's for each)? I saw you provided the code (ShadowInfo = new ShadowInfoTableXD(Data.Skip(Shadow).Take(subLength[7]).ToArray());) but I'm not exactly sure how to use it, would Python be the move? Can Goomy evolve into Hisuian Sliggoo? If so, how do you do it? Is there also a chart showing how to evolve new Pokémon? The Hisuian Decydueye will be in the next updates?

Hi guys, very new here and I kinda need a little help. long story short with some friends we decided to work on a group project ROM hack of SoulSilver we are using the EU version of the game. Currently stuck at something particular. So we decided our version will have 3 difficulty modes that will have various effects on the game, one of them being the EXP gained after battles. and we've been working on this for a few days now. So we want to add an EXP multiplier, but we can't narrow down the location of the original EXP code. So if anyone can help if they have done something like this before that will be super helpful.
