I want to create traded hatched Pokemon from scratch. However, I'm utterly clueless about what data remains the same and what data changes upon trade, especially regarding hatched data. CAN EGGS BE TRADED? (lol) ********************* I am almost certain it is a positive. If it isn't, then all the other questions pertaining to traded eggs can be ignored. HOMETOWN ********************* If eggs can be traded, does the soon-to-be-hatched Pokemon take the hometown of where the egg was created or where the egg was hatched? EGG RECEIVED AT ********************* I'd like to know what happens to the Egg Received At data upon trade between (or among) certain versions. Does it get changed? Does it get deleted? Those are what I primarily want to know. Here are the specific ways the Pokemon/Egg may change hands that I'm interested to know how Egg Received At may or may not change. If anyone has had first-hand experience in doing this especially concerning DPPt-HGSS trading and can verify/correct my suspicions/predictions, please do so. 1) RSEFRLG to DPPtHGSS a.k.a. Pal Parked Pokemon -Suspecting either values 2003 (Kanto Region) or 2005 (Hoenn Region) or data gets deleted. 2) DPPt to DPPt - Hatched Pokemon -I'm thinking that nothing changes except for that whole Faraway Place issue. 3) DPPt to DPPt - Traded Egg -Same as 2). About Date Egg Received... possibly the date where the egg was received from the Daycare? 4) HGSS to DPPt - Hatched Pokemon -Suspecting either values 2004 (Johto Region) or 3002 (Faraway Place). 5) HGSS to DPPt - Traded Egg -Same as 4) and 3). 6) DPPt to HGSS - Hatched Pokemon 7) DPPt to HGSS - Traded Egg Or maybe, nothing gets changed, just like with the hex values. Any sort of information pertaining to this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone, I am currently playing Platinum in NO$GBA, after following the walkthrough I came to know that I can actually trade a wild caught Machop level 7 in Route 207 to a Abra level 7 nick Kazza from a little girl by the name Hilary in a house next to the PokeMart in OREBURGH CITY. After doing so, i tried to extract the Abra's data using Pokesav & checking the legality These are the information shown Checksum: 0xBDAB - Valid Pokemon ID: 142 - Quiet, Male, Ability 1, Not Shiny IVs: 15,15,15,20,25,25 Trainer ID: 25643 Secret ID: 0 Trainer Gender: Female Hidden Power: Ice - 34 Fateful Encounter: No Gender Check: Valid Effort Values: Valid Nicknamed: Yes Home Town: Sinnoh [Platinum] Country Originated: UK/US/AU Type: Hacked Pokemon May I know why is the legal.exe showing that this Abra is a Hacked Pokemon? This does not make sense since it was trade from the system itself and Machop used was not generated from NO$GBA? If I obtain an egg on a Japanese game, then trade the egg to an English game and hatch it, will the language be "JPN" or "ENG"? Would it still say hatched at "Daycare Couple" or would it say "Link trade", etc.? Basically, is it any different from obtaining and hatching an egg on the same game?

Hi! I've just traded my Medicham for a haunter in Snowpoint City and I checked it with your Legal program and it appeard to be..... hacked. The same goes with german Magikarp Foppa. Can Legal.exe distinct in-game traded pokemon as fully legal?

Hello, I have a question, if i save a pkm from one version (diamond) and load that pokemon in other (platinum or pearl), i need change in pokesav the "Met in place" to "link trade (arrived)" or "link trade (met)", to look it as legit traded or isn't necessary change it, and when is used "link trade (arrived)" and "link trade (met)". If is necessary change the met in place, it is for all pokemon and events (such as TRU Regigigas and TRU Shaymin) or not. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry if I sound like an idiot but I got an AR for my DS about 5 days ago and cannot find a code to let the name rater rename traded pokemon, I have Pokemon Pearl and cannot get the platinum official platinum code to work. Will anyone be so generous as to give me the code for Pearl and how to activate it?

Hey there, I'm trying to make a Pokemon which is legit. I need some help though. Basically, I would like to know how to make my Pokemon look like it has been traded from a Pokemon Pearl game, to my Pokemon Diamond game. I don't know how to get the "Apparently Met" part of the details. Also I want this pokemon to look like it was bred on that game and EVed on thatgame, and traded to the Diamond game once complete. Do I need to put any other details? Thank you, Style.

Here's a stupid question... I hope this is acceptable for the forum, it seemed the most appropriate place. Let's say I traded for an obviously hacked Pokemon (a kid traded me a Prinplup caught in a Master Ball, for starters). I have no intention of keeping it and have deleted it (I only traded to give him an item). I'd assume that if such a hack were on my cart, an officially sanctioned tournament could disqualify from participating. But would I risk being disqualified for EVER having such Pokemon on my cart? I would think not, but when I hear about trash bytes or hex values I wonder if the hacked Pokes would somehow leave a mark behind in the game's save data. Sorry to bug you with n00b questions, but if anyone can confirm with absolute certainty whether I'm fucked or not, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Here's the situation: I accidentally screwed up my Pearl save file and don't have access to an R4 or flashcart. I have a few Pokemon from that save file on a different cart which works. If someone could use Pokesav to figured out the SID from my Pearl cart, I could use My Pokemon Ranch to recover all of the Pokemon on that cart. Please help, I have almost one of EVERY Pokemon, legitimately, on that cart! :'(

I am looking for an action replay code that allows me to rename Pokemon that I received in a trade to be nicknamed in Japanese. I would like it to work when I go to the name rater to change my Pokemon's name. I would appreciate that very much.
