  2. http://filetrip.net/f6856-e-Reader-with-Eon-Ticket-in-Accessed-saved-data.html http://users.skynet.be/firefly/gba/e-reader/ http://www.caitsith2.com/ereader/tech.htm http://ereader.kiczek.com/ or http://ereader.vze.com/ This is all I found. I can open e-Reader (U) ROM in both VBA and No$GBA and with .sav files is easy to play minigames or sedn EON Ticket BUT first thing I want to know is how to use "Load e_Reader dotcode" function in No$GBA because not every card have .sav file. Sometimes there are only .bin and .raw and I know No$GBA is capable of reading these but stiil don;t know how ;/ There is also VBA e-Reader but I don't have specific .dll file and I need to download it and then I will try my luck. The second important thing is that there are still some undumped cards like e-Skyridge and others. Maybe someone have it or know where to get it? And some of the cards don't have .sav file, jsut only raw and bin. We need those too ;] If linking to dumped e-reader stuff is not allowed here then I'm sorry
  3. So... there any action replay codes that replicate the effects of the various e-reader cards?
  4. Hey there everyone, Some of you might be new in to this, but there is a way how we can trade in GBA Pokemon Games over the Internet. It requires the use of R4 or DSTT or some other Flash Cards for DS that are able to play ROMs. You also need to have the GBA Backup Tool. The GBA Backup Tool is a HomeBrew ROM that can make ROMs of your REAL GBA Games that are in Slot 2 of your DS. So, yea, you need a DS for this as DSi doesn't support GBA games. It doesn't even have Slot 2 like a DS/Lite. With that same GBA Backup Tool you can get the SAV file of your GBA games. We can play our SAV file in a ROM such as Visualboy Advance, do a trade or cheat or just play, and then save the game and put it back in your real cartridge, cool aye? What we could do: What we could do is get a copy of the SAV file and trade with each other. If you want the other person to only have a specific Pokémon, you could just release the other Pokémon from the SAV file and catch some random Pokémon and let some Poké Balls in the game so the other person can catch and trade with himself and have your Pokémon in his real game. All he/she needs to do is first, make a backup of his own SAV file incase he deletes his original one from computer or if you delete yours by mistake in the real cartridge. This really works because I've traded this way with a friend in Australia and I'm not even there. All I did was place his SAV file he e-mailed me, in my real cartridge of Sapphire, I used my Emerald and the real SAV file of my Emerald and did the trade. I gave him the Pokémon he wanted and he gave me the Pokémon I wanted. I e-mailed him the SAV file back and he placed the SAV file in his Ruby. Yes, RUBY and SAPPHIRE can load same SAV file, but Emerald can't load Ru/Sa SAV files. I even mixed records with him and now I got his secret base in my Emerald and Sapphire. Leave comments on what you think of this. ============================== Shortly, what you need are: -GBA Pokemon game(s) -a DS -R4/TTDS or DSTT(same thing) -GBA Backup Tool (homebrew ROM) -a friend with a Pokémon you want or he wants. Let me know what you think. This way you might have an Event Pokémon in your GBA games and even in your Colosseum or games. I'm looking for someone that has a DSTT or R4 or something like R4, and has an Ageto Celebi. An Ageto Celebi is a Celebi from the Japanese Colosseum Bonus Disc that came at Level 10. Ageto is for Agate Town in Colosseum/XD. ======================== What I'm offering in return are Gotten in GBA trades, real trades: -Level 10 Aura MEW -Level 10 MYSTRY MEW -Level 70 SPACE C DEOXYS And from my Colosseum Bonus Disc: -Level 5 WISHMKR JIRACHI Yes, I offer all those, not just one of them. You can have them for your GBA Pokémon Games. If you think it wisely and decide to do the trade, you will only win, because, those Pokémon are too common for the DS Pokémon Games Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. This is your chance of getting those Pokémon but for your GBA Pokémon games and you can now sure finish your PokéDex in your GBA Pokémon games. Once again, let me know what you think, and if you have that Celebi I mentioned. Thank you very much for your attention, I remain.
  5. all Japanese E-Card pokemon come with 0 IVs for whatever reason.
  6. I believe that e-cards were used to battle certain "special" trainers in R/S, and to get enigma berries. There were two berries that had unique effects: one cured attraction, and another (japan only) raised a stat instead of lowering it (like if you were holding it, and the opponent used growl, you would eat the berry and your attack would raise instead). In Japan, the e-reader was also compatible with FR/LG/E and Colosseum. They were used to battle special trainers, change the trainers in the trainer tower/trainer hill, and change the wild pokemon in altering cave. The room where you could battle special trainers was blocked off in all non-Japanese versions of FR/LG/E. Some people say that all event tickets in Japan were distributed as e-cards, but I'm pretty sure only the Eon Ticket was released, and the rest were simple wireless distributions.
  7. If the printout was precise enough, probably. There was also some tool floating around that was able to generate the dot code used by the E-Reader... though I'm not sure what kind of input it took. The only E-Reader card I have is the Eon Ticket I bought off eBay back when the event was held; still with the brochure in perfect condition. These days, they're going on eBay for quite a bit more than I paid. There's one up to $46. Other Pokemon E-Reader cards seem readily available off eBay, though; maybe I'll pick them up.
  8. The E-Reader Pokemon Cards had two purposes: They were for reading Pokedex entries and other card info (honestly, its pretty much the same stuff thats on the card itself) but it was mostly for the minigames. For example, I think it was if you had a Rapidash card and a Ho-oh card you could play this minigame where you tried jumping over hoops with Rapidash. They were pretty fun. I wish they would compile them in a real game though. It would have worked well for DPP. There ARE roms of them online though. One thing I always wanted to know was, if you printed out a scanned card and tried it in the e-reader, would it accept it? - Greencat @ 10:36 PM Oh, thanks for the info.
  9. What about those E-Reader Pokemon Cards? What was the purpose of that? =/
  10. I think I've still got my e-Reader and Eon Ticket somewhere around the house. They also had some small card packs that had additional trainers you could scan in and battle, and some rare berries.

  14. Flash Cart i would suggest would be either an M3 Real, or an CycloDS Evolution, the Cyclo is more expensive, but you know you will get your moneys worth, if you desire to connect to the Wii, via Pokemon Battle Revolution, or Final Fantasy, then you should purchase an CycloDS Evolution, if you don't even own a Wii, then purchase a M3 Real, the M3 Real looks beautiful, when you run M3 Sakura. Basic Features of M3 Real - 100% compatibility - works on any DS. - Extremely simple to use. Just drag and drop files onto the memory card and insert into the M3DS Real. Standard FAT system. - Supports the Micro SDHC specification, allowing for high capacity memory cards up to 32 GB at present. - The M3DS Real supports running programs without any lag or slow down on any micro sd card, even lower-speed ones. - Special features can be enabled while programs are running (eg. SlowMotion mode, etc.) - Automatic save type detection eliminates the need to provide a save type database file. - The M3DS Real writes all files permanently to the micro sd card. Power interruptions cause no save data loss. - Excellent homebrew support. DLDI auto-patcher. - Upgradeable system. Operating system has virtually no size limitations. - Robust & skinnable GUI. - Built in PassMe (No need to insert TF card, no need to use with any boot cart/passcard etc. Supports booting Slot1-NDS, Slot2-GBA, Slot2-NDS, etc.) - DirectBoot: Supports direct booting of applications. - Supports Slot-2 expansions cards. (Rumble, Ram, Browser memory, GBA expansion card, etc.) - Includes a full touch screen & button control GUI. - NDS-GBA Linkage works fine. - The M3DS Real has some of the strongest media features: Built-in “Media-Ex” application + “Moonshell “ media player. i) Supports playing MP3, OGG music & DPG / DSM / GBM movies ii)Super E-book function, supports Word / Txt files directly. III)Super picture viewer function, supports *.BMP, *.JPG, *.GIF, *.PNG files directly. - Built in PDA (Worldwide Time, Memo, Note, Phone book, Calculator.) - Multi-Language support, including French, German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, Thai, Japanese... - Supports DS sleep mode. - Brightness adjustment within GUI Features of CycloDS Evolution * Completely plug & play - no FlashMe, PassMe or PC software required * 100% compatibility, supports clean ROM's - works on any OS * RealTime Save function, allowing you to save and restore the state of gameplay at any time * Wii connectivity in games is supported * Full NDS download play support * Action Replay compatible cheat code engine, comes bundled with over 300 cheat codes for over 300 games! * Uses MicroSD card, both FAT16 and FAT32 supported * Supports the MicroSDHC specification, allowing for high capacity memory cards * Save type is automatically detected, no need for a save type database * Save directly to MicroSD rather than onboard flash * User friendly, easily skinnable interface. Both touch screen and button operation supported * Multi-lingual user interface * "Enhanced Mode" which provides powerful, unique features during game play. Enhanced features are activated through an in-game menu. Enhanced mode features include: o RealTime Save which allows you to save and restore the state of gameplay at any time o Adjust LCD brightness during game play (NDSLite only) o SlowMotion mode which can be used to slow down game play to make fast paced action sequences easier to master o Return to CycloDS Evolution Menu (aka soft reset) o More features to come! * Excellent homebrew compatibility thanks to the DLDI auto-patcher * 2 megabytes of onboard flash memory which contains the CycloDS Evolution OS and will be utilised in the future to add exciting new features. A recovery mode is also included. * Autoboot mode which when activated will directly boot into the last ROM or homebrew application executed * Moonshell included to provide media playing functionality * PassMe function (boot from slot 2) * Supports rumble and memory expansions, without any special user interaction required All you must do with most modern flashcarts is drag and drop the Pokemon ROM to the memory card and save once inside the game. A Pokesav compatible file should be created in the directory of the ROM. If you mean actual cartridge of Pokemon Platinum, then you must require an Action Replay. To generate Action Replay codes, first edit anything you want to change in Pokesav. After you're finished editing, press the "AR DS Code Output" button on the main window. In the output screen, check the boxes depending on what you edited (for example, if you edited the ID and Secret ID, check those boxes). Now press "save file." Pokesav will export all the necessary Action Replay codes as an XML file. Import this file into the Action Replay Code Manager and transfer the codes to your ARDS. Now run the codes with Pokemon Diamond or Pearl. Pressing L+R will activate the codes. If it's not possible to import them into the Code Manager, you can also manually paste the codes in. Open the exported XML file with Notepad or another text editor. Inside there will be two codes, one specific to Diamond and one specific to Pearl. Make sure you grab the one appropriate for your version. Ignoring the XML formatting, copy the raw Action Replay code into the code manager. Do not activate too many different codes at once, as this may crash the game or cause undesirable effects. If the game crashes after pressing L+R, try disabling codes one at a time until the game works. Try visiting Gbatemp.net to view some review on either Cyclo, and M3 Real, if you are able to go to Youtube, and search M3 Sakura.
  15. The Canadian Secret Key is being released at the same time as the American one, and will likely be identical anyway; so it would've needed no modification. If he'd modified the Japanese one, then I really doubt he would've changed the allowed redistributions from five to none. A rip-off needn't always refer to money... anyway, I've paid for free events before (I bought the Eon Ticket e-reader card in pristine condition from eBay). I'm merely commenting on the fact that while the Japanese WC (also a free event) allowed for giving out the thing to a few of your friends (possibly people who didn't buy the game until after the giveaway ended), the North American version doesn't.
