  2. Sorry. Cleaned the mess in the first post... Not perfect, but should do it for now. Indeed. This has been confirmed many times. One indicator is the PID Type that indicates that the Eggs were generated ingame... (You should know it! It's Uncommon GBA Type... A-B-D-E...) But also it was confirmed ironically because of a story I heared from someone else. It was about how GoldUrsaring was able to receive so many Eggs. The story is that he was able to do this by receiving an Egg WC, picking up the Egg ingame and then tossing the WC. He then he repeated this over and over... I also confirmed not too long ago how he was able to do that. It's because when you toss an Egg Present Wonder Card, the flag gets erased as well. As you can see in @suloku's post the whole "checkflag", "setflag" process is part of the Script that's downloaded. The flag is actually set right between Wonder Card and the Mystery Gift Script. And when you toss a Wonder Card almost that entire section gets cleared. (Except a few Bytes here and there...) But the same thing doesn't happens when you just download another WC. So you have to toss it before you download another one.
  3. Besides any that are mentioned in this thread that you haven't got already You wouldn't happen to know how to RNG Pokemon Colosseum, would you? I'd like to get RNG shiny versions of the Colosseum E-reader Pokemon. I have the E-reader cards, English, Japanese and Spanish copies of the game so I can get them in any language. If I can find somebody to work with, I can do the leg work if they can do the RNG/capture part and we'll both have our own set. I consider all non Japanese Pokemon to be Un-released in a way.
  4. Unown is pretty simple. 1. Ruby on player 1, Debug on player 2 2. Player 1: below title screen, wait for mystery event connection. Player 2: Hold Select at Title screen, press right once, scroll down to mimic e-card, press A 3. Player 1: waiting for response Player 2: connection done, select PKMN, wait for completion. perhaps I should try VBALink 1.8 again. I'm pretty sure I was in Petalburg (flew there to activate the Mystery Event flag) Also I was using a retail rom to collect/receive, not the debug rom, if that makes a difference.. Maybe, or just swap out egg creation with send PKMN. Send Pkmn probably has the checksum function working, that's why we can receive it.
  5. Quote from glitchcity: None of the functions on the Mimic e-Card menu access this data. I guess nobody actually wants a Luvdisc—not even the developers… how do we activate this?
  6. Would you consider the English E-reader Pokemon from Colosseum un-released events or even legit? I used Action Replay on the GameCube to get into the room and then scanned in my Japanese E-reader cards. I've just considered them un-released events and perfectly legit. The data is in the cards/games.
  7. WARNING!!! This romhack is intended for mature audiences only, you should be 18+ or have your parents permission before playing it. If you are easily offended by crude language, drug references, sexual innuendos and other offensive content then this is not the game for you! I told you guys that I was working on a romhack and now you can finally try it out! If any of you are old enough to remember playing Cokémon (one of the first Pokémon romhacks) then you'll love this. This is still a very early build, the dialogue has only been modified up to the first rival battle and most trainers haven't been edited yet. The Pokemon encounter tables are borrowed from Kobazco's romhack and they were originally created by Drayano. I have also applied several .ips patches that add some excellent features and then compiled the patches for everyone to enjoy. Hope you all enjoy it! === Story === You just moved to the Alola region with your alcoholic mom! She's always looking for the next guy to spread her legs for and Professor Kukui has taken up the challenge. Now it's time to leave home...and abandon your mother to travel across the islands, while gathering Pokémon, seducing innocent lolis, discovering aliens and becoming a Pokémon Master! === Screenshots === === Features === * All Pokemon encounters edited, find new rare Pokemon in Alola! * Very mature script changes, the main storyline is intact but all dialogue is being edited and there are lots of lulz. * Outlines removed, making the game look cleaner and less childish. * Eggs hatch almost instantly. * All Pokemon are rename-able now. * Message boxes instantly display text. * Pokémarts up to after the first trial have been edited, lots of useful items including an Oval/Shiny Charm that you can buy at the beginning of the game! * Access your PC from anywhere! Just go into your menu and select "Options", it takes you straight to your PC boxes! * SaltySD patch, allows you to add in your own files/mods to the romhack by just dragging and dropping them into a folder on your SD card. * SciresM patch, lets you use the QR Scanner to scan a PKHex QR Code and easily load a Pokémon in your PC boxes. Also unlimited QR scans daily. === To-Do List === * Finish editing the dialogue, there's so much text in this game! * Finish editing Pokémart items and prices. * Edit models, planning to chance main female character's breasts similar to the Busty May Mod. * Revise encounter lists, add in more interesting "tropical" Pokemon based on location. * Need to figure out if it's possible to apply the Pokémon Bun logo to the title screen and opening animation. * Edit static encounters and in-game trades, add some unobtainable legendary Pokémon. * Lots of other cool stuff! I have lots of ideas and I'm open to suggestions, but don't be mad if I don't use them. === Download === Current Version v0.1 Pokémon Bun - Project Folder (Google Drive) You can download the tools, patches and instructions to patch your own dump at the Project Folder link above. Please note, I only host .xdelta patches that contain NO COPYRIGHTED DATA. ...and greetz to my friends at Nintendo. If you don't like my romhack, well too bad. You won't be sending me a DMCA or C&D notice, I don't even live in a country that sell your products or cares about copyright infringement. The prebuilt .cia is also uploaded if you know where to look. It uses the same TitleID as Pokémon Sun and will overwrite it when you install. Make sure to backup your saves with JKSM! Project Pokémon does not allow the sharing of any copyrighted files or data, DO NOT ask in this topic where you can download the prebuilt .cia or PM me or other users asking the same. Thank you! === Credits === BelmontSlayer - I made this romhack you're playing! E:3 shinyquagsire23 - Making SaltySD and it's patches. kwsch & SciresM - Creators of pk3DS and the QR Scanner patch. 8. I've been wondering. I heard somebody (ajxpk?) Say that the game can't be booted up outside of the language it was started in. Specifically the story if I remember correctly. But I could just use the Colo/XD editor to change the save language, play the save using my NA copy and then convert it back to catch the Pokemon. That's my goal anyway. At the very least, I have video proof that the Japanese E-reader and cards work with the North American copy of the game so as long as the region conversion works.
  9. I read on the original Colosseum E-reader room thread a few days ago that the E-reader doesn't work with the PAL copies of the game. Did you do anything with that? I got them in English by just using my Japanese E-reader so it wasn't a problem. The cards scanned right in.
  10. Been a long time since I've been on here lol @Sabresite I've got the English E-Card Pokemon extracted from the saves if still needed, I've also have all the other languages if need but I'll need to find those saves and extract them.
  11. There's also the AGATE Celebi and COLOS Pikachu. And probably the Colosseum E-reader mons. The door to the E-reader room is locked in the English games but if you can get in there, the Japanese E-reader and cards work with the North American games.
  12. I never said i dont not believe you. We have both test the e-reader with different editions in the first place. The problem is you were a little vague when you mentioned "english game" without specifying which one, european or american, NTSC-U or PAL. Now i understand you have an american game. Yes, i believe you when you said with your american game in a real gamecube works but you also have to beleive me when i said that it dont work with an european/PAL game in dolphin but non-english e-reader pokemon can be caught in PAL games in Dolphin changing the savegame from PAL to JP to read the cards and back to PAL format before caught the shadow pokemon. That make it accesible those pokemon to anyone without need to buy a real e-reader nor e-reader real cards.
  13. The Japanese E-reader CAN scan the card data into the English game. That's MY video to show proof that it's possible. I'll post pictures of all my games and E-reader's and cards if you don't believe me. http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/nintendo-game-boy-content-gb-gbc-gba/save-games/14690-pokemon-gen3-legit-event-pokemon-save-ruby-sapphire-emerald-firered-leafgreen-post76642.html#post76642 I've purified trigger_death's English E-reader Pokemon and my Japanese ones. I have not made my personal English ones from the video public. As I've only shared them with my best friend and they're 2 of a kind. I'm actually trying to collect every single ribbon on them. I don't know anything about RNG (Other than I hate it). I need to play through Colosseum again soon. A friend and I want to play through it together. It might take a while but I could provide more save files to experiment with.
  14. Another thing to consider, Gen III is the first generation where distribution devices were either flat out made available to the public (Ageto Celebi disc, WISHMKR Jirachi disc, PAL Pokemon Channel, Eon Ticket e-Reader card) or were stolen from their event locations (the Shiny Zigzagoon GameCube demo discs, European Aurora Ticket cart, the MYSTRY Mew carts, the various 10th Anniversary carts). The same can't be said about the Gen 1 or 2 distribution methods. And personally, I wouldn't worry about the Gen 1 and 2 events (besides Virtual Console Mew) because unless you use a PC program, those Mews and Celebis will be forever stuck in Gens I and II. For me, the fact that these Gen 3 events are able to be migrated to future generations is the reason to preserve not just the ones already collected, but the method to generate more. Especially considering some moves are still exclusive to these various events. So bottom line, it's not about the actual distro ROMs (even though those would be AMAZING to have), it's about the method they use to generate the Pokemon or wirelessly send Wonder Cards so we can put that into custom ROMs that you could tell apart from the real ones.

  17. Here's a list of the more prominent save editors out there. If something's not right or if something should be up there but isn't, let us know! Main Series PKHeX (Gen 1 to 7) The crown champion of save editors, this handles saves from every generation. Comes with in-built legality checking, mystery gift and trainer editing, among other things. Some niche values like underground flags in DPPt (Gen 4) aren't available, and you'll need to fall back on PokeSav for those. PokeGen (Gen 4 to 5) One of the leading save editors of its time, PokeGen focuses more on editing Pokemon data. PokeSav (Gen 4 to 5) Before PKHeX there was PokeGen, and before PokeGen there was PokeSav. Back in my day, UI wasn't something worth investing in! Some niche functionality like underground editing is still unique to PokeSav, though. PKX Delta (Gen 1 to 3) If you need to load Gen 1 to 3 data created by a legacy tool like PikaSav or A-Save, you'll have to fall back on PKX Delta. pk2pk (Gen 3 to 6) Allows for the migration of Pokemon from Gen 3/4/5 to 4/5/6. PKMDS Code Library (Gen 3 to 6) For other developers, this is a code library to help you get started. Currently supports Gen V and limited portions of Gen III / VI. Online Pokemon Database (Gen 3 to 6) The PokeCheck of today. Upload Pokemon from Gen 3 to Gen 6, manage them, and view their legality. Rhydon Save Editor (Gen 1) Save editor for RBY. PkmGCSaveEditor (Gen 3) Save editor for Colosseum and XD. Allows converting between main series games. Trigger's PC (Gen 3) A "Legit-Use" Everything Bank and Save Manager for Gen 3. Mystery Gift Tool (Gen 3) Nintendo Events, Wondercards, e-Trainer cards and e-Berry editor. Mirage Island Finder (Gen 3) For finding Mirage Island in RSE. Feebas Fishing Spot Finder (Gen 3) This tool allows to see the Feebas fishing spot seed in a Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire or Emerald savegame. PPSE-DS (Gen 4) Save Editor that runs ON the DS! Runs off Flashcarts and edits the save without the need for a PC. Generation 5 Save Tool (Gen 5) Multipurpose save game editor. Can edit the Entralink, Medals, Memory Link, Join Avenue, and Hidden Grotto. Download Tournament Editor (Gen 5) Tool to edit downloadable Pokemon World Tournaments in Gen 5. Pokestar Pokemon Enabler (Gen 5) Editor for B2W2 to modify Pokestar Studios Pokemon and the Hall of Fame. PKMDS G5 PC Storage Sorter (Gen 5) As an example of what the aforementioned code library can do, this tool sorts your entire Gen 5 PC in National Dex order. WC6Full Creator (Gen 6) Application to dump full Wondercard data from saves. Pokemon Link Tool (Gen 6) Allows dumping and injecting of Pokemon Link data for XYORAS. Spin-off Series Sky Editor (PMD: Various) and Sky JEditor (Java Port) Save Editor for many Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games (not the 3DS ones though). Pokemon Ranger Mission Injector Supports Shadows of Almia and Guardian Signs. Tools whose features are already present in a newer tool are listed below:
  18. Ok, I'm gonna make a few statements: 1.- Most e-cards dotcodes have been dumped and are available (all english sets are dumped maybe some promotional cards still missing, same goes for jap). 2.- Those dumped codes can be used on emulator, the same as with real hardware. 3.- The official way of doing it is language and game locked. It is probably not possible to modify the e-reader program to recognize any game, at least not for me (it is z-80 code, probably it can be made so the language and region check is skipped, but that's outside my abilities). 4.- The data inside the e-trainer and e-berry dotcodes (ect and ecb files) is compatible with all games, any region. The format is exactly the same. Of course, due to language encoding and the easy chat system, using it on a different language works, but probably the sentences will not make any sense.* 5.- In the future, I'd like to add a button to output an ect/ecb file as a ready to go e-reader savegame for the desired game language. Of course this will still be language/game region locked. I have the means to do that, but not the time. *There's currently a bug where some japanese ect files can't be opened in the editor, but injecting works fine. EDIT: also, dotcodes are e-reader software programmed in z80 language, for the pokemon games they communicate with the game and run several scripts in the gen 3 format. The Eon ticket event and e-trainer/berry are data that instead of getting run right away (like the regi dolls, which is a script that gives you the doll), are stored in the save. For mystery event techs: http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?topic=7114.0 Also, Team Fail made some good research too, as re-enabling mystery event in non-jap emerald: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=224212 http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=348484 HaxAras: your legit e-reader saves project is really interesting, but if you are doing it thinking there is no other way to get the events in the saves, you are wrong on that. Most trainer and berries are already included in the package ready for injection to any langage game saves. Also, a japanese save with an scanned trainer will work fine on another language rom, but the easy chat system text will make no sense. I think I covered most of the doubts?
  19. Yes they are. Just like the FRLG cards are all for Trainer Tower. I wonder if it'd be possible to make an e-Reader dot code (or two if needed) that can send the Eon Ticket to all versions of R/S. Only reason I mention it is Prof.9 made custom dot codes for Mega Man Battle Network 4 through 6 that send data to both the Japanese AND English versions of those games (though his BN6 dot codes only work for the Japanese version due to how much Capcom stripped out of the English version). Also worth noting is his custom dot codes are only scannable on English e-Readers.
  20. Do you know if it's possible to inject various language E-reader trainers into eachother? Originally I wanted to take my Emerald strategy guide promo, scan it into a Japanese save and then convert to English to see what happens. I also wanna do it with the 4 trainer promo cards since those were actually released in English.
  21. Are you guys saying that custom trainers can't be made at all or just in Emerald? I'm uploading saves with every single E-READER card I own scanned in. Do you think it might be possible to rip the data and inject it into a different save?
  22. The existence of these Wonder Cards is already long confirmed. Hints about it can be found on archived websites ect. Here for example you can get informations about the PCJP04 Eggs: http://web.archive.org/web/20040319200750/http://www.pokemon.co.jp/event/0324egg/index.html It's all in Japanese so for some people here it should be hard to understand. But this site gives information about how to prepare your game to download these Eggs via the Mystery Gift-feature. Regarding the Wish Eggs you can find informations here: http://web.archive.org/web/20050204071332/http://www.pokemon.com/events/index.asp?articleID=585 I was told that Gold Ursaring received many Eggs by always tossing the Wonder Card and downloading another one. Most of the Wish Eggs you can find in the Trading Scene (at Neoseeker ect.) are from him. The reason why he doesn't has a Wish Egg Wonder Card anymore is because he downloaded a Mystic Ticket after this Event. Another hint can still be found at the official japanese website of Nintendo: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/nom/0504/1_2/ This confirms that the PokéPark Eggs were downloaded as Mystery Gift as well. I think I don't need to explain much about this. The cool thing is that this site even shows the Wonder Card of this Mystery Gift. Another strong indicator is the "Uncommon GBA" (A-B-D-E ect.) PID Type, because it indicates that the Eggs were generated ingame. The Script propably was very similar to the Prototype Script (Pichu Egg with Surf) which we found inside the ROMs. The "regular" Event Pokémon however have the "Common GBA Event" (B-A-C-D) Type. Now some people who have PokéPark Eggs might wonder why their Eggs have the Common GBA Event Type. The reason for this is that the PokéPark Event was a very unique one since it had two different ways to be downloaded. One of them was as a Mystery Gift. (FireRed LeafGreen & Emerald only) And another one via Nintendo DS Download Play, this way they also could guarantee compatibility to Ruby & Sapphire.
  23. Somebody please move this if this is in the wrong place or there's a better section for it. So basically over in this thread https://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?48553-Gen-III-V-Event-Contributions-Thread I noticed a couple of my saves. One of them being a Ruby version with the Nutpea berry scanned in. I'm an E-reader collector. I like legit stuff and official hardware so I thought of contributing saves with every E-reader trainer scanned in, every berry, etc. I thought about it a little more and felt this huge undertaking deserved it's own thread. I'll only be doing each trainer in 1 save. For ex. Only Japanese Ruby and NA Ruby, etc. Once I'm done with the project, I can take special requests. Like scanning a certain trainer into Sapphire or scanning stuff into personal saves. I'm still waiting for them to arrive but I've ordered the complete set (No promos) of Fire Red and Leaf Green and once I'm done with those scans, I can do custom setups and scan any cards in any order. I'm considering taking pictures of each card to go along with the save file. They'll all be in a compressed folder together and likely bundled together. (English Ruby berries, Japanese Ruby berries, etc.) Here's a list of what I have and basically my to-do list. English All booster pack trainers All berries Lady Astrid Gentleman Niles Eon Ticket Japanese All series 1 trainers All series 1 berries Decoration Present Emerald strategy guide promo 4 E-reader pack in promos Fire Red and Leaf Green set Pokemon Colosseum set and promos If I'm not mistaken, the way it works with Colosseum is: I beat the trainers and then a special trainer shows up and I can catch a shadow Pokemon. I'll be making backups for all of those as well as a special backup afterward where you can battle all of the trainers that have been scanned in. As of the date and time of typing this, I only have a few more days of work and then I'll have most of the next several months off so I'll work on this when I can. Edit: First bit of a progress update. I was hoping for some feedback so I won't go much further than this. On one hand, I don't want 100 folders but on the other I also don't like how cluttered it will be with 200 files. Pictures and saves all over the place. I figure bundling them up might be the less annoying option. Edit 2: Here's version 1 of the save with everything pictured. To let people download and use the saves and so this thread doesn't look like some empty promise. http://www.mediafire.com/file/8f75oumtv67l34b/E-reader_Ruby-Sapphire-Emerald-EnglishV1.zip
  24. Alright, I haven't really been playing Pokemon much in the last 5-7 months or so. Whenever I stopped being active here. I'm an Xbox achievement hunter so I hop back and forth between that and playing my other consoles/handhelds/etc. But I got that Pokemon bug recently so I'll be working on that here and there when I get time. I'll keep you posted. It should only take a day or so and I work a seasonal job so I'll only be working 2 days next week and then it's nothing but free time until March. I now have a complete list of all the E-reader cards I've got. English All trainers (No promo) All berries Eon Ticket Japanese All series 1 trainers All series 1 berries Decoration Present Emerald strategy guide promo 4 E-reader pack in promos
  25. I didn't expect such excited replies! Thank you guys! To tell you the truth I was more than willing to share my saves anyway, and contribute a little to the community after all these years of just lurking the forums. @HaxAras My god! you have quite the collection! And you did exactly what I was planning on doing to get the perfect pokeblocks. I'll be more than grateful if you could share some of those to my save or another save with the necessary berries to blend the pokeblocks, I would really appreciate it! @HaxAras I'm from México, and got the tickets at the Electronic Game Show on 2004 and 2005. To be more precise I got the Aurora Ticket on October 23rd 2004, and the Mystic Ticket on October 22nd 2005, both events were held at the World Trade Center in Mexico City. Back in the day, all the games we could get here were American versions, there was no localizations and if you wanted some pokemon games in spanish you had to import them, which of course was more expensive (and personally I just hate the way the game reads in spanish, such horrible translatios!) The Eon ticket on my Emmerald save came from the collaboration with a friend I had during those years. We used to play TCG, and he used to travel alot to the states (his dad was a pilot) so he eventually got ahold on an e-reader so we could use it to play with the codes on the cards, and some time later(I cannot remember for the love of god how or from whom) I got my hands on a physical Eon Ticket, so we scanned it to his Sapphire and proceeded to mix records with my emmerald. I keep the card to this day. Finally, I would like the saves to be kept private, so I'm sending you the saves via PM. I hope my saves are useful to you guys! And thank you, really thank you!
