This event was distributed by having players use the Nintendo Zone app at 7SPOTs, in order to grab a serial code, to commemorate the upcoming release of Movie 20: Pokemon I Choose You in Japan. This is the "fixed distribution" that replaces the "glitched distribution" (and the glitched one was only online for around for 9 hours). The " ☆ " that was in the original OT is an invalid character, so when any type of trade is done, it'll either become a " Sun." or " Moon." variation, based on receiving game and language. The invalid OT stays, if transferred between games via PokeBank. A second distribution was held at Pokemon Centers in Japan via Local Wireless. While it looks identical to the initial distribution, the wonder card IDs between both distributions are different, hence allowing repeats. The 3DS Region Locked QR code that unlocks this event, was first distributed to Japanese players, via a Ga-ole disc, with only limited copies, to be obtained during the viewing of Pokemon 20th Movie: I Choose You. International Players have yet to receive an announcement regarding this event. As the QR code does not hold large amounts of data, it is likely that it pre-programmed into Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon, like the QR Code Magearna event for Pokemon Sun & Moon. As the details for this Pokemon are presently unknown, and the games being unreleased, there are no PK7 files attached to this page at this time.

Out there in the wild, exists a German Language Debugger's/Developer's Edition of Pokemon Ruby Version, which contains many debugging tools, including Mystery Event distribution subroutines. Working on the data first documented by The Cutting Room Floor and GlitchCity Forums, the E-card Trainer was finally extracted by @jojo12100 using @suloku's tool. There are e-Reader cards that allow you to challenge trainers in the old man's house in Mossdeep City, and the trainer can be swapped out by scanning a different card. This card data contains a trainer that is a Pokemon Ranger, with his name being "Card E" (Japanese: カードいイー), and rather peculiarly have the names of his Pokemon being in English ("TOURNAMENT"). Note: Japanese games are hard coded to only display up to 5 Characters for Trainer and Pokemon Names, even if the Pokemon has a longer name, as seen in the comparison below. It's possible that this e-Card was originally Japanese in a earlier revision of the debug rom, which was likely based on a japanese debug rom, before it was adapted for localization. In Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire, FireRed & LeafGreen, and Emerald, contains various glitch Pokemon, that occupies the Gen III programmed index spaces of 252-276 (between Celebi and Treecko). All of their physical stats are exactly the same as the Pokemon Deoxys. Speculation is, the 25 slots originally contained fully formatted Pokemon, but was dummied out after. This Pokemon, ?, has the cry of Unown, and it's only ability is none (-------), it normally can only have the attack Tackle, and is incapable of learning any other moves. I accidentally came across this Pokemon, when I had too many AR codes active all at the same time, and managed to catch it, and have since hacked moves onto it.
