This: "I personally don't like set up moves, especially for in-game" Who does like to set up in-game? Of course in-game does take skill, especially if you handicap yourself with weird Pokes or if the E4 turns out to be like 10 levels higher than your party (happens to me a lot in many of these games). Don't think just because it isn't competitive you don't need much skills. You know, like Meganium in HGSS? You can actually play the game without one shotting everything you know? Otherwise it can get boring pretty fast. I personally found it hard in the end while I was underleveled, but that was fine. Why else would items like X Attack exist for? Find your own way to play the game of course, but that's all your choice. Unfezant may not be great, but whatever. More weaker the Pokemon actually is, the more satisfaction you get for winning with them.

Who does? But at least it means you're more skilled at it rather than choosing a move, one shotting everyone, rinse and repeat. I suppose for most people if you require set up in-game, then it just slows things down. I do agree that setting up is tedious for that matter and is much better suited competitively, but I didn't mind though; Serperior was my only Pokemon along with Unfezant until I reached the 5th gym. I was able to set up for "boss battles" while regular battles were a cinch for my other Pokemon. For me, I just pick Pokemon out of what I like, not how good they are, hence why I chose Meganium despite its role of being a supporter. Ha ha. Wow. Mine ended up at 53 by end game.

Tepig's for noobs bro (game's too easy with that guy) For Snivy it's all about utilising her defences, setting up with Coil and then sweeping. I ended up with Coil/Leaf Blade/Giga Drain/Return. Lack of offensive moves blow but I still managed. There are worse starters (Meganium anyone?). I assume it was created for skilled people. Er... 80s? Good grief that's terribly overleveled

Wait, what are your standards? From what I'm seeing, it's all based on either your experiences (seeing how most Pokemon you are playing a lot with are either Easy or Intermediate) or it's based off their competitive value. But I'll give you what I was thinking. Beedrill "Easy" because it's easy to play with; simple attacker. That was my reasoning; not on how great it is in battling. Fearow is simple too. Raticate was Intermediate because it requires itself to burn itself to do great, otherwise it's pretty simple. Though I'm a little confused with these guys too because some of my judgments are based off how well they do in a team, and these guys aren't really... meant to play competitively. So yeah, I'm quite confused here. Ewww I put Cloyster on hard? It's rather Intermediate due to the amounts of things he can do; it isn't just Shell Smash + Sweep because it also has utility purposes, so Intermediate it is. It's not about how effective they are but rather their playing styles. Entei outshining Arcanine has nothing to do with it because this is in absolute playing style, not relative. Also I don't consider Entei outclassed by Arcanine; Stone Edge is enough to nail Zapdos and the likes and CM set is very beast. Gengar's pretty difficult for people sometimes because of its many playing styles and the requirement of predictions, but I see. It's not so easy to put in Gengar in a team either and say "it works". More about how simple or how complex each Pokemon are. Whoops I put Starmie on Hard (I wasn't thinking)! It's most likely Intermediate; you need something to destroy Pursuit Pokemon with that and it can't just fit on any team it wants to. Same reason why Alakazam got a Hard; it will get KOd to nearly any priority moves and has more than one method of use. Actually, I'll stick him to Intermediate; I know most people think this guy just Subs + Attack but I think there's more to him than just that. The harder the difficulty gets, the more specialised a team has to be to accomodate for that Pokemon. If it does the supporting then it's hard or something. You know what? That should be the final criteria for that. Some are due to complexity... I did this late at night and all so I know I messed up on some of them. Sorry about that. I can't really put Zapdos on "Easy" because there are multiple ways of using it, for example, and it does require some sort of skills rather than just sending it in and Tbolting everything. Scizor though fits in nearly any teams... fine he shall be Easy. We're not making every OUs "Easy", many will be on Intermediate. tl;dr: ABSOLUTE not RELATIVE terms; there shall be NO comparisons Remember it has NOTHING to do with their battling potentials, but rather on how easy/hard they are to use overall. EDIT: Changed some of them. I haven't really got to touch all of them yet though.

Snivy certainly isn't the easiest, but it has the best potential of the three, especially vs bosses or something. I completely swept N with Serperior alone!

Sab, Toxicroak is walled by Chansey? Cross Chop and any other STAB Physical Fighting move says hi Unless, of course, you were referring to Politoed. Better not get those two froggies confused; one likes to sing the other is mean. Also, a quick note; + 2 LO Thunderpunch from Infernape OHKOs Jellicent. I don't like that, but no matter what sort of EVs I run, it's always OHKOd and I'm not going 252 HP/252 Def. But overall, Jellicent is a great check to Infernape or Heatran so that is definitely worth considering. That aside, I'm not so happy with no investment in Chansey's Defence. In fact, I think those HP EVs should be moved to Defence so Chansey can get more out of it. Investing in Defence helps a LOT more than investing in HP when taking surprise physical hits, especially for something with a crazy 250 base HP Pokemon. In fact, I get away with putting no HP EVs on Blissey and still works. I know your Chansey is a dedicated special wall, but, there's always that chance you take a physical hit by accident (Thundurus with Hammer Arms for Tar anyone?), which isn't very nice. What Tbird said does interest me though; Gliscor + Skarmory being redundant. It just might be in the weirdest way. Nearly everything Gliscor is supposed to counter carries some Ice move, such as Tyranitar with Ice Beam or some other random junk with HP Ice. I'd be careful if I were you, and even though Jirachi + Rotom-W can be useful, it might distract you from actually sweeping with Mew and you'll end up taking out everything with just your core if you play properly. Just a thought there. So maybe we don't want that. I almost suggested Tyranitar but that adds more weakness to the apparent Infernape weakness and the sand is distracting to your Chansey and Mew. Tyranitar is actually great as a special wall in a way though. I remember at some point people used SkarmTar instead of SkarmBliss, but of course, always experiment and see what works. Anything worth mentioning regarding threats?

Snivy is for experts, so if you beat the game with Snivy, kudos to you. Uh, some of the new Pokemon are entirely broken *cough*Reuniclus*cough* I've been able to take those level 60 guys with Pokemon nearly 20 levels below, and they were the new ones. Cynthia is OBVIOUSLY a guy, where have you been? HE's in Red/Green version, not Gold or Silver. You know how manly it is to don a bikini right? No I'm kidding. Though dressed in masculine attire, Cynthia is a woman, and she's in HeartGold/SoulSilver as a cameo with event Arceus, not in the original GSC. Her main game is Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum as Champion

The reason why racism is lingering on is because it was coerced; the cultures were too different between the industrial north and the aristocratic south. When it comes to the American Civil War, I'm with the South, even if they were the ones with the slaves, they had every right to secede and their government was decentralised, the way America should have been. And now look what happened >.

Pretty cool how you're almost black... ALMOST there! If I remember correctly, there were ranks between red and black with different stripes inside the red belt, but I think different schools differ in that system. My first school had brown above red even!

Another member here named Gin also does 태권도, but I'm not sure what belt he's in.

America ha ha. Most of you Internet people are from there or from Europe. Eh, South Korea is a bit like America. We kind of lost our culture due to the Korean War and the communists have run over the north. We're too much into technology and Korean dramas and stuff. 태권도 is our martial arts of choice and Starcraft is an official e-sport here :B

There's a lot of competition in the academics here though (it's incredibly tough!), but our economy is flourishing so far and we're supposedly America's allies. Just hope the two Koreas reunite someday; that's my dream.

Yeah, I'm from the Far East. I'm using English because so far that seems to be the lingua franca of nearly everywhere... and French because they were the first Europeans to communicate with my nation. I know a bit of Spanish but not enough to go by. Yeah I'm a history nut, but there's still a lot I don't know. But I do know that I have to look at more than one sides to find out the truth, because what one is told is not always the full truth.

Glad to see you're finding a niche here! I'm just trying to get to know each members that join, and you seem pretty cool overall. It'll be nice to have more 3rd gen hackers here.

Sent that tutorial to UnderXRay (a fellow member) and his head just went spinning. Since he's in Israel, he needs to sleep, but he says...

I remembered about bits and bytes, the latter being 8 bits. Read it somewhere when I was really little.

Bookmarking that guide as this looks like it'll come in handy (bookmarked so much things from PC a long time ago, where's that folder...)

Simple math was my forte, now I'm good at things I never expected to be good at: history and stuff :B

BTW I just checked one of my old projects. I tried to change the shiny colours of things like Nidoqueen and Misdreavus since they were icky. Loaded unLZ and they're now at 0 as opposed to their normal numbers around the 700s-1000s... is that normal or did I mess up? <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh.png" alt="xD" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/laugh@2x.png 2x" width="20" height="20" />
