There were religious strifes, Protestant Reformation, the Scientific Revolution, etc... but I'll go post Medieval for now because Medieval history is somewhat sketchy; I do believe in some alternate history that was not doctored by the Catholic Church, such as the "Pilgrim Church" and what torment the Bible went throughout history. Then I'd have to start with Constantine, but that's for some other time. The Church is a big part of the European culture; it would be foolhardy to discard it like that.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>There's more than just Garbodor and Conkeldurr; stuff like Roggenrola (is that a pencil sharpener?) and the fact many just look like bigger versions of their predecessors when they evolve (Solosis line or Pawniard line for example) as opposed to the past Pokemon where there were some elaborate changes in evolution (Oddish to Vileplume, heck Shellder to Cloyster) is just rather blargh. I know there's stuff like Voltorb line or Diglett line that makes you think it wasn't that great in the past either, but there are enough Pokemon to offset them.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

I just think it's the lack of defences or something... and no Sleep Powder. <p><p><p><p><p><p>Actually, most of the Gen IV and previous did resemble a lot like their predecessors, maybe except a few suspect Gen III Pokemon. Gen V looks like some 9 year old drew something and thought it was cool. I'm sorry but I don't buy it; the sprites look pretty unprofessional and it clearly shows when you pair it up with old Pokemon sprites even in Gen V. I'm sure more could have been done; it's just silly enough that the official artwork for each Pokemon are in the same posture as their sprites! I'm not sure what to say to be honest. Even after all this time I should have gotten over it, but apparently I found this a challenge.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

At least Conkeldurr doesn't have Close Combat, but still, they do screw up with the stats so badly enough to make old Pokemon look futile. Haxorus is a MINOR dragon, not even a pseudolegend and he gets some obscene attack of 147? I still don't get Excadrill; they decided to break a Pokemon so much that it ended up like him? 88 speed even trolls on Hitmonlee's! What's more, there was ALREADY a "fast" Ground Pokemon in Sandslash, and they could have stopped there and evolved him to Excadrill-esque Pokemon or something instead of making a new family altogether. But no, he outclasses Sandslash like a million times.I won't even start on Reuniclus. Gen VI will go crazy, just watch.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

Gen V is truly Chaos though; everyone's stats are flying like all over the place. I mean... good grief, what the heck is Haxorus? Many of these new Pokemon just completely dominate such as Excadrill, who just HAD perfect stats. And what the heck is Ferrothorn? That guy has no relevance in-game, isn't even notable and is found in some random cave, and yet it turns out he was designed just to be a competitive pain in the butt. And his exploitable 4x weakness doesn't KO him for the most part... like seriously, what is that? Perfect stat distribution as well; all the stats needed went alloted perfectly.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

Unless I had an absolute need for competitive battling via Wifi, which I really don't, then I don't quite mind. But it is still kind of needed... but yeah, annoying. I just breed for some new moves or something. I got some high IVd Pokemon in my SS if you want some. <p><p><p><p><p><p>IVs should be in the game. The game was SUPPOSED to be played with Pokemon being different from each other, and IVs help in that case. Without IVs, there'd be no different Hidden Powers nor would there be much variety with Pokemon stats not counting EVs and natures. IVs spice things up; it's just people who cheat or RNG abuse to get 31 IVs (or whatever to get a HP70 of choice) across the board that's quite annoying. Though 31 whole stat points is a HUGE differentiation factor though.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>History is fun I suppose. It only became fun when I learned by myself after a while though, and when I was like 12 and was learning history, it wasn't fun because... well I don't know. Maybe because they spoonfed everything and whatnot.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Pogeymanz is annoying. Especially with the whole IV/EV stuff I just decided to settle for in-game stuff when I'm playing in-game, competitive when doing simulators.</p></p></p></p></p></p>

<p><p><p><p><p><p>Eh, at least the classes are practical now... so I guess I somewhat like it... except there's too many projects being assigned all at once, giving me mass stress. I don't have classes on Mondays though... and I travel from home instead of dorming now, since dorming was too stressful and I'm not very autonomous.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
