  4. Interesting news. I've been informed by some friends who were at the JPN egg distribution that you actually could not get duplicate eggs on the same save. I'd assume the same holds true for the Korean distribution. I really wonder how the mechanic for that works, though. Is it in the wc7 somewhere? wc7full? Or does the server detect which one you have before sending you a new one?
  5. I doubt it works like that. It should just be one random egg per day per save. So if you get lucky, you could possibly get all 6 in a day if you stand in line 6 times and restart your game in between.
  6. Yep, it happened with Lunar Magikarp too. I believe all languages worked on NA, so it's as if they combined the regions for HKTW and SEA codes. Interesting, the password thing is news to me.
  7. To add onto that, HK/TW code events are only legal on EU consoles in certain languages: ENG, JPN, KOR, CHT, and CHS.
  8. Disregard the part about Magikarp. I forgot I injected another one to test some stuff. So yea, I'd assume that all multi-obtainable events just don't get added to the received list. I think I heard Pikachu was confirmed to be multi-obtainable. Regardless, I'll find out and report back (if I remember).
  9. That would be my guess, since otherwise the system is bugged. And I haven't heard of anyone complaining about any weird situations where a valid unused code couldn't be redeemed. Also, it seems that for multi-obtainable events, it doesn't actually store the WC ID in the internal received list at all in most cases. I just opened up a couple of my JPN saves, and neither WC 0137 (VC Mew) nor WC 0161 (JPN movie Volcanion) are listed in the received list, even though their used wondercards are still on the save. Interestingly though, 0095 (Hiroshima Magikarp) is on the received list, even though it was also multi obtainable. Maybe because it isn't a code? (disregard, I forgot I was testing something on that save)
  10. You can delete WCs to receive different events. Just not the same event again (except multi obtainable events).
  11. What makes you say that? It's true that deleting a WC doesn't allow you to receive the same event again, but I don't see how that would affect events desighed to allow you to receive multiple.
  12. @suloku Everything I mentioned definitely applies to gen 6. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe nothing changed in gen 7.
  13. If HA has a chance of being passed, the chance is always 60%. The ability, like the species, is determined by the female. Meaning, HA can only be obtained using a female parent with HA. If the female does not have HA, then the chance for the offspring to obtain HA is 0% regardless of what ability the male has. Using Ditto doesn't change that, except that breeding a male Pokemon with a Ditto results in the male effectively being treated as a female for the purpose of passing species and ability. Long story short: (Same species) HA male + female (no HA) = no chance of HA (Different species) HA male + female (no HA) = no chance of HA HA male + HA female = 60% chance of HA, 20% of ability 1, 20% of ability 2 Male (no HA) + HA female = 60% chance of HA, 20% of ability 1, 20% of ability 2 Bonus: HA male + Ditto = 60% chance of HA, 20% of ability 1, 20% of ability 2 (The last one is the source of much confusion; even Bulbapedia is wrong. However, I am 100% sure of my claim as I have tested it myself, and so has Cu3PO42.)
  14. I've made an arrangement to trade for a Korean Shiny Tapu Koko, so I can share the details (not file) when I get it. I'll only have the Pokemon, though. I don't know of anyone in Korea who'd be able to extract the WC. To the best of my knowledge, Rochi (@iceposs2000) can't either.
  15. Yep. I have an entire set of the ORAS eggs hatched shiny. Also, I got to see a Goomy wc7 and can confirm that it's the exact same one as the gallery's.
  16. @theSLAYER, I would consider Cute Charm to be just an unintended RNG mechanic, not a true glitch. So essentially, what you said - "possible to chance upon during normal game-play" - though that seems like an iffy definition.
  17. Technically true, but it's still the case that Mew cannot be shiny without the use of glitches. And glitches shouldn't change legality. Otherwise it'd be possible to get any shiny or any 15/15/15/15 Pokemon.
  18. @theSLAYER, nevermind. Looking back at the Smogon thread, it seems trainer fly glitch Pokemon are generated as a stationary.
  19. @ajxpk - Right, gen 1 Pokemon with impossible DV spreads are illegal, I agree ACE wouldn't change that. Come to think of it, since wild counter gen 1 Pokemon can't be shiny, wouldn't that mean that glitch Mew couldn't be shiny even if you happened to have the proper OT and ID No to allow it to transfer? Never mind, it seems it's treated as a stationary. Anyway, in general, I think it'd be good to have legality for gen 1 DVs, even if few would ever use it given the games can only trade and battle locally. At minimum, it'd be good to have as a resource for what shinies are legal.
  20. I'm in the camp that glitches are legal as long as they produce legal Pokemon. If you want to ACE glitch yourself a shiny Charizard, go for it, I'd call it fully legal (not legit, but that's a separate argument). But there were only two event Mew in gen 1, and both have fixed DVs of 15/15/15/15, and cannot be shiny. So shiny gen 1 Mew is illegal. Other non-shiny glitch Mews would be legal after transfer, but not the shiny, because it cannot be shiny without using a glitch to literally modify its DVs after catching it. It's still hacking, with or without external modification. I don't think it's fair to say that all glitches are legal just because they don't use external means. Otherwise you'd have to consider level 1 Nidokings legal, Rage-glitched Fly Flareon legal, tweaked DP Shaymin/Darkrai legal, etc. ACE shiny Mew is along the same lines. And I wouldn't consider Transporter a valid way to distinguish legal glitches from illegal glitches given how basic (bad) its legality checks are. So no, it's not legal, but not because it's "not how Nintendo intended" - it's because shiny gen 1 Mew is impossible unless you modify it.
