black 2 / white 2 Pokémon Blaze Black 2 & Pokémon Volt White 2
Freeasabird420183 replied to Drayano's topic in ROM - NDS ROM Hacks
"Player received a special starter Pokémon"? you know theres a code the vanilla game uses when referring to the player. like "[Player's name] received a special starter Pokémon" why didn't you use that? just copy paste. thats kind of immersion breaking, for, whatever immersion the game can possibly give anyway, i don't want to be reminded that i'm playing a video game. like why is it typed like that?? -

You can continue running the program (albeit with potential side-effects), but please report this error. Allz i wanted to do was add new Pokémon to a route (drillbur and sandshrew/slash) the number of Pokémon near the power plant was dreadfully low. i saved my changes and this popped up.

well if you look at the pokemon in PKHeX and randomize its IV stats it gets random characteristics. just copy the IV number for the pokemon you're editing in PK3DS. and you could just ..imagine it has the characteristic you wanted due to the IV number. like if you give the Pokémon a decent IV score it does in fact get a wee bit stronger due to this then just 0 ivs like vanilla. thats how i do it anyways.

I don't think your even editing a trainer. if theres no Trainer name in that dropdown list (top right) and its just brackets and numbers (idk what that's for) then just don't edit those. edit the options that have trainer names. if you want to add new Pokémon to an actual in game trainer then select the Trainer tab. left click an empty box click "view' and make your changes. then left click the box again and click 'Set" and the selected Pokémon will appear in the list. if you ever used PKHeX its works kind of like that. Edit:i Okay after refreshing my memory of Pokémon UMoon PK3DS Select a trainer you want to edit (Drop down list, far right) left click on the Pokemon that you see there click 'View", then left click on an empty box and select 'Set'. this'll copy the previous Pokémon, now you can edit it to your liking (species/level/nature etc) and keep doing this until the trainer has the Pokémon and number you want them to have. For the stats, i like to (depending on its level) set it's IVS/EVS to how i'd assume it would be if you manually trained the Pokémon up to said level. maybe give it an extra 10 or 20 EVs in some random stat. (perhaps the trainer used some vitamins on it at some point) make things interesting. For the moves i like to use https://www.serebii.net/pokedex-xy/steel.shtml to check what level up moves the pokemon i'm editing will have at its selected level, so you don't accidentally make an OP pokemon when it shouldn't be like that at its level. (maybe throw in an HMTM move for some random spice) and you could even let the trainer have a potion or an X item or two to make it more difficult. Change all the trainers you want to edit then just X out of the program Repackage the rom file and play. erm..if theres anything you'd like to know lemmy know. i'm no expert but i know a few things at least. (i don't do randomizers)

Set all Pokémon in Pokédex to their shiny form
Freeasabird420183 replied to André_'s topic in Saves - Editing Help
Hey, just incase your wondering idk, I've just (as of time of writing) found an option for filling the Pokédex Way quicker. in the Pokédex section theres a modify button that will allow you to complete the dex in one click. the shiny thing thats still something your going to have to do yourself it would seem, however. you probably don't even care anymore but when i found this i thought "hey maybe that guy would want to know" idk take this what you will. -
I simply* want to find a way to change my characters dumb get up at the start of the game so i can look how i want to look. In Pk3DS in the trainer editor section theres XZY coordinates changing them to the supposed cords of the clothing shop on Melemele island results in just a black screen when you load the save. i heard in an another thread that you have to copy/paste the cords to some other file or something... does anyone know how exactly to change the cords so i can warp around without actually activating the story triggers. so i can get the the clothes shop and hairstylist and then warp back to where i started and Start the game with a cool get up as apposed to the dumb one you start out with. like what file, do i need to paste the XY cords for this trick to even work?.

Could somebody help me Make these legal?
Freeasabird420183 replied to MewtwoFanz's topic in Saves - Files and Requests
In PKHeX where it says its illegal if you mouse over and click it it will say why its illegal. Maybe it has illegal moves? it can't be captured in your version of the game if at all perhaps? wrong Pokéball for encounter type etc.? maybe is just, you can't capture a shiny version of these Pokémon. what does it say? -
