Does PKHeX have the ability to inject Nintendo event triggering items into their respective Pokemon games? Just curious I’m replaying the series and would like trigger the events myself and experience them rather than inject the pokemon.

What's memory link? For Generation III I'm using, Visual Boy Advance There is also a Emulator that let's you play both I believe like Medusa.

I am not familiar with this either.

Wait, sorry that's not what I meant. If I can use this in PKHex alongside my USA of Gen III.

Will this Pokemon work on a USA cartridge of Emerald/Leaf Green if I try to transfer it?

Well, what I meant was. Originality in the Pokemon, is one method proven to show more authenticity in the Pokemon than the other. (e.g. GS/AR Pokemon vs PKHex Pokemon) is there any difference at all between the two as far as anything goes? (Stats, Originality, Trading, Leveling)

Well, when I first had the encounter I was not expecting it at all so after failing an attempt at trying to catch her (lol) I then just selected run, saved the game and attempted to check if she was still there which she was. So the event is definitely still active in my game. I just checked, it v1.1. I'm guessing it's a better/updated version.

I had a feeling there was a means with editing the script of the battle somehow or utilizing PKHex like @theSLAYER posted above. I read and had an oversight in a video I saw mentioning, doing this was one of the possibilities in capturing her. Outstanding.. Nice work @BlackShark! I heard that she doesn't have a rear sprite only a front facing battle sprite, lol.. How do I know which version of the game I have (I have LeafGreen)? Like I mentioned, I am still awaiting on my flashcart so I can extract the ROM and SAV files. So I'm basically limited at the moment. Is there a difference between using PKHex or AR/GS codes in order to obtain Pokemon? I need to figure the whole PKHex thing out. It all sounds super fun!

Yeah I have only begun to scratch the surface of using PKHex. I'm really looking forward to all the possibilities and options I'm going to have playing my game cartridges alongside using PKHex to "Catch em' all". This community is filled with a bigger database than I thought, it really prove useful very soon. I'm only waiting on my Flashcart to finally arrive in the mail! ?

Unfortunately, I do not know how to do "brew" commands.. I don't have experience using terminal. My Winetricks window is blank as you can see below, so I do not even have the option to install Winetricks. I tried running Terminal and typing "brew install Winetricks" right after it opens up but I received this message "-bash: brew: command not found" I would definitely like to try and install .NET 4.6 Framework like you mentioned and see if that fixes the problem. Well, when I installed Wine for the first time on my MacBook it installed Wine and up until now that you mentioned it, I pulled down the tab at the task bar above and had wine tricks installed as well. Yeah meant that I used "method 1", check out my screenshot for reference. So here are two odd issues.. The emulator and rom both boot without issues. (although with no$gba and wine I believe it's a hit or miss. 1. Sometimes the emulator force closes suddenly when I choose an option or when I try to close or exit the emulator I receive an error "Memory messed up".) 2. The game plays it just doesn't save in-game. Some of the frames are black for characters as well.

Yeah, everything worked great just like you mentioned. How did you choose to install no$gba 2.8e through the wine set? I just ran it directly but after playing briefly HeartGold I tried to save in game without any success, it isn't creating save files from in-game. Is it because I chose to run no$gba directly and not install it. I really couldnt understand the installation procedure.. Thanks!

So, I have been playing Pokemon Leaf Green (cartridge) for the first time (I played through the original just not the remake). I just got up to the part where you encounter Cubone's mother Marowak (ghost) and although there is no legitimate genuine way to catch her in-game. I still want to capture this special Pokemon! ("Gotta catch em' all", right?) Is there any way to capture Cubone's mother Marowak? Ive been told and know there isn't a genuine way to do it, but outside of normal gameplay possibly through cheats, is there a way? Maybe through cheating devices or possibly PKHex? Is it worth trying to capture this Pokemon, can it potentially corrupt my save? Just curious, because I have seen videos on Youtube of people doing it so I wanted to give it a shot.

Not to mention enjoying the Pokemon series even more! I just have a few more questions which I can start directing to the PKHex Support Forum as well. Is PKHex the best choice currently for Pokemon game editing? I am trying to accomplish to just have the ability to easily capture, train and use any Pokemon I want, legitimately and authentically. PKHex doesn't remove the authenticity from the actual Pokemon right, I can trade them and battle them respectively? If I have PKHex it basically rules out any reason to use Gameshark or Action Replay codes, right?

Im new to PkHex but I want to learn how to use PkHex with my Pokemon games. Such as for LeafGreen, Emerald, SoulSilver and so on. I heard PkHex is compatible with all generations. I also own a flashcard also. Is PkHex difficult to use? I would be using it on OS X. Also, what is a good emulator to use at the moment that works well with PkHex and local trading as well. I was told there are a few Homebrew applications I can use on my flashcard that let me extract my saves from my cartridges or roms and move them to my computer to edit and transfer back. Where can I find more info on how to do this and what are my current best options?

Yeah I'm replaying the Pokémon Games and would like to keep my team and trade them up eventually to my hard copy of Alpha Saphire. Hello and thank-you for this application to "migrate" pokemon. This would be awesome, if I could get to work correctly. Unfortunately, I seem to be having an issue botting the application on my Macbook. I'm actually on a MacBook OS X 10.11 I tried installing this program, it loaded the Disc Image and I installed to my applications but when I double click to boot it I receive an error. This is after I double clicked the application and it prompted me to install Java on it's own. I install Java as is requested and I never had tried installing it before. After installing it and trying to run it, it told me that the file was damaged and it needed to be moved to the trash. Check out the image I provide.
