  1. If you actually own the game, just download an emulator and ROM - they support Action Replay codes, and I believe there are methods to extract pkm files from ROM saves. So use the AR code in the ROM, collect the Pokemon in-game, save, extract pkm file, and open in PkHex.
  2. Wasn't the serial code for the HA Tyrunt unique? Perhaps the Wonder Card is somehow tied to the code, so the PGL can detect duplicates? Have you tried cloning just the Pokemon instead of re-injecting the Wonder Card?
  3. It's possible the format is different than what PkHex is expecting, based on your save file. I suggest using PCEdit - it uses the same exploit and is a more standardized format, so it's unlikely to not work in PkHex. Oh, and of course make sure you're using the latest version of PkHex :-)
  4. Did you read the Instructions in the RAM2Sav thread? It tells you how to put the save back onto your game after you've edited it with PkHex.
  5. Just leave it out, it's the same anyway. So if your ID is 01234, just put in 1234.
  6. What URL are you using, and what code.bin are you using?
  7. I have a living dex, but I worked really hard for it, so I'm not keen on sharing it..... are you sure Google won't come up with anything? Or a search of this forum? I could've sworn someone posted their living dex boxes in another thread in this very forum. As for the pk6 files, PkHex opens and edits those directly. If you want to write a script to create a living dex, take a look at the source code - the pk6 file format structure is in Misc/PKX.cs. But honestly, it'd probably be easier to just download the pk6 for each Pokemon and use PkHex to put them in your save. I know for a fact that there are sites that have pk6 files for every Pokemon, but I won't link it because it's probably against forum rules. There are a lot of calculations and validations that go into making a valid Pokemon in a pk6 file, so writing a script to create a bunch is probably impractical, at the very least because it would take as long, if not longer, than just creating each pk6 file individually. Your best bet, if you can't find a bin with a living dex, is to download all the pk6 files and then use Tools -> Load/Dump Boxes in PkHex. But if you're cheating anyway just to get a Shiny Charm, why not just use RAM2Sav to put the Shiny Charm in your save file? Or use RAM2Sav and PkHex to mark your Pokedex full and then get the Shiny Charm in-game?
  8. Added and requested to push into main program
  9. You have to enter the OT information of the trainer you're going to hatch with into the OT tab before you click the shiny button (so the egg's shiny value is set to the trainer shiny value).
  10. Make sure the OT information of the trainer you're going to hatch with is already entered in the OT tab before you click the shiny button.
  11. Thread hijacking aside, you want PCEdit. Follow the instructions to get pcdata.bin onto your PC, open that in PkHex, edit whatever you want, save pcdata.bin back to your 3DS, and inject (follow instructions).
  12. Yeah, the only point in time that you can do any "damage" is when you save in-game after injecting a modified save or PC box. You can move files on and off the root of your SD card, run pcin, pcout, ramsavin, ramsavout, all that stuff to your heart's content without doing any damage. The only thing you have to do is, after you've made edits and injected, make sure everything works BEFORE you actually save in the game. I've heard of people's injections failing somehow, and after they save, they get a black screen when they try to load their game, and I don't think there's a way to restore a previous backup of a save (whenever you save, it invalidates any previous saves as far as I know).
  13. An egg will hatch shiny if its Egg Shiny Value (ESV) matches the Trainer Shiny Value (TSV) of the trainer that hatches it. These numbers are different from the trainer ID (TID) and secret trainer ID (SID). Hover over the PID in PkHex to see the Pokemon's shiny value, and hover over the TID or SID to see the Trainer shiny value. Clicking the shiny button will make the program generate a PID that makes the Pokemon have an ESV that matches your TSV (so enter your TID and SID first, then click the shiny button).
  14. 331 MB? That doesn't sound like a ported version of a 3.6 MB executable. Edit: Oh I see, it uses Wine and all that jazz. I thought you ported it to Java or something.

    Box Report

Already reported, not sure if he saw it yet. Edit: Looks like he fixed it from showing the index number, but the data itself is still wrong (off by one index).

    Shiny Egg?

Nope - a Pokemon's shiny-ness is determined when it is hatched. So the only way to force a shiny is to modify the shiny value (and thus PID) to match the trainer shiny value for the trainer you're going to hatch with. It's probably easier just to make a shiny lv1 Pokemon. In other words, an egg cannot be shiny.
  17. If you've downloaded my build, just follow the instructions in the included "README" file. The section "Breaking the encryption" details how to do the initial breaking, which only needs to be done once. Then, the section "Breaking the encryption for more boxes" details how to fully break the encryption. Basically, you do this: - Create save1, save2, and save3 according to the instructions - In the Options tab, load save1, save2, and save3 into File 1, File 2, and File 3 respectively - Click the higher "Break" button (the one above the File 1 slot) - Now create empty, full1, and full2 according to the instructions - In the Options tab, click "Folder" and select the folder where you put empty, full1, and full2 - Click the lower "Break" button (the one above the Folder slot) All that only needs to be done once. After that, you can open any save in the SAV tab, and you should see all Pokemon with no ~ markers.
  18. Oh, no, you don't break with any of those saves - create your break saves following the instructions included with the program. Then, for the saves I mentioned before, just open and dump them in the SAV tab - you only need to break once.
  19. The program needs to see three states for each slot to fully decrypt: empty, full1, full2. So if you've already opened saves with two different Pokemon in the first two boxes, try making a save with those two boxes empty and opening that. Then box 1 and 2 should always appear correct.
  20. What do you mean by "it didn't work"? You double-click the application and nothing happens? If you have Task Manager open in the Processes tab, does PkHex appear for a moment when you try to open it and then disappear?
  21. When you do the initial setup to break your encryption (battle with a Pokemon in slot 1, battle with the same Pokemon in slot 2, etc), you have to have the opponent do the same thing with their Pokemon (so in the first file, you battle with only one Pokemon and so does the opponent, then in the second file, your one Pokemon is in slot 2 and the opponent's one Pokemon is in their slot 2). After that, you can check the opponent's team of any video you save in that battle video slot.
  22. It's my understanding that it's impossible to transfer entire saves between cartridges. I'd suggest using PCEdit to transfer your Pokemon (or just the Bank) and then maybe use PkHex to edit your new save to be like your old one.
  23. When you use rsavout, it only makes a copy of your save from the system's RAM and places it on the SD card. Other than that, it doesn't write anything to the SD card or to the cartridge. In fact, using rsavin doesn't actually write anything to the cartridge (or the SD card if you're using a digital copy) - it only loads the save into RAM. Once you actually save the game, THAT's when things get permanent. I know this because I used the PC box importer to create a few Pokemon in my boxes. After running the exploit and going back into the game, the Pokemon were in my boxes. But then I quit without saving, re-loaded, and the Pokemon were not there. Now the second part of your question is a tricky subject - it's my understanding that save files are tied to cartridges, so it's impossible to transfer saves between cartridges (including trying to restore your save to a new cartridge if your old one was lost or broken). Unless the new RAM-editing web injection technique changed something, I would avoid backing up and restoring saves to different cartridges. Instead, just use the old box importer/exporter (PCEdit) to transfer Pokemon.
  24. Make sure you've downloaded and installed the latest .NET Framework from Microsoft.
  25. You can already use the web exploit to view all 31 boxes in PkHex, edit them, and re-inject. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44561-PCEdit-Full-PC-Dumping-and-Injection-for-X-Y-OR-AS
