Another fire winner. I wish one time they would make the grass starter insanely powerful. Enough on the rant though. Blaziken is a good starter. I don't like fighting being mixed with fire though.

I like a party of 6 as well. It's really not all that hard to go out and train your pokemon to decent levels to match that of the Elite Fours pokemon. Just put a bit more work into it and you'll probably end up enjoying the game for a bit longer cause you're not beating it so fast.

What about Pikachu? Other than it being a ridiculous Pokémon. One day it can beat a Dragonite and the next it can't beat an Eevee.

Yes, yes it did. I don't know, I mean other than in you never heard of shadow Pokémon again. If they had played a bigger role in the anime of something I guess it would be more appealing to me.

There are plenty of overpowered fire types throughout the game. Arcanine, Magmar, Flareon are all good examples. There isn't really an abundance of anything in just the first generation. And other than Venusar the only other good grass Pokémon are Vileplume and Scyther (whom is more so bug).

Okay, okay. May 100% faithful to the original would be a bad idea. What ever the decide to do with the idea I hope it's good. Pokémon games have only been mediocre these last few releases.

So, kind of curious as to who picked who in the new versions of Red and Blue. Did time change anything? Or, did you stick with the starter you used to pick back in the old days. As for me, it changed. I used to pick Charmander because of how awesome Charizard was. I ended up picking Bulbasaur in the reincarnation though.

Hate is a strong word. But yeah, it is sorta ironic. And Squirtle is awesome no matter how much he is lacking in stats. Maybe if he dressed up like a fire type he'd get some decent ones.

I hope it a 100% faithful recreation to the original including just a few updates and what not.

I believe Mewtwo and Mew were missing. It was possible to transfer them over though. You just had to use your gamepak and load your game.

It goes by weaknesses. So Charmander gets Suicune, Squirtle gets Raikou, and Bulbasaur gets Entei. They also roam around like they used to.

Are implying in the middle of game play change? If so, that would be to good. Awesome, but too good.

The graphics had made a vast improvement for sure. I remember thinking it was one of the best things about the game.

It could be a few things. Nintendo could just be benefitting itself by registering such a domain name to up its daily hits because of our fan base.

Indeed. You were stuck with a useless rat. And you had to keep it for so long or else you wouldn't get certain things like Bulbasaur.

For some reason they feel that fire has to be the most powerful out of the bunch. It's quite depressing that there is such a narrow view on it. I mean yes, fire is destructive, but look how powerful the ocean is, and nature, nature is amazing. I just would like to see a more broad spectrum in the starters stats, starting by the fire starter not having ridiculous stats.

Nah, that was more annoying than anything. It would probably slow you down in the newer versions by wanting to rest if you were using your running shoes.

I also like the idea behind the vistor messaging and more interactive profiles the became standard on the newer version of vB. It's overall a more fun aspect than that of PMing and what not.

I believe so. But I doubt it'll be called Dawn Silver and Dusk Gold. Doesn't roll off the tongue all that well. There have been many fakes for GS remakes. It'll probably be surreal when it happens.
