It'll bring some of it back. I was so fond of those memories I couldn't resist buying both copies... (waste of money buying the second ).

I wish I was still able to whip out the good ole' N64. Unfortunately I sold a few years back. I'm seriously considering buying a newly used one though.

That would be too wonderful. You know they eventually give us what we like, but in small doses. It's how they keep us coming back.. bastards.

I was confused when I first learned of them. I wasn't entirely sure what to classify them as since Entei and Suicune look like dogs, but Raikou looks like a Sabre-Toothed Tiger. I finally just stuck to calling them the legendary dogs though. I remember calling Ho-Oh the Rainbow Bird. I thought it was the most powerful Pokemon. I wish they still foreshadowed that way.

I never took to Infernape. It is actually almost to the point where I'm boycotting him. The whole second generation being referred to as the probable worst is a shame. I like them so much. I can't put my finger on why, they just appeal to me. As for being the worst to start off with none of my favorites fall under worst, but only one is best to start off with.

At least we know it's possible though. That or a hacked Pidgeot.

I think the GS remake is too hyped up for them to "screw" anyone over by not making it. Like I said earlier, it would be bad from a marketing point of view for them not to proceed with the remakes.

You have to see the second movie. It's by far the best. The movie explained it by saying their elements threw off the balance and only Lugia can clam them.

That's what Mudkip is. I was trying to come up with something comparable for him. It's always fun seeing the grass type. I usually go with the as my starter since they are rarely used.

I know the reasoning and how Green originated, I just preferred the color green. Plus when has a grass type pokemon been the header of anything. Other than Shaymin, which is recent.

The -eon thing should have been left exclusive for Eeevee.. When you think about it all the water starters are unoriginal, Squirtle is a turtle, Totodile is an Alligator, Mudkip is a tadpole type thing, and Piplup is a penguin. The grass starters are where they get somewhat creative.

It's false hope and favoritism. I wish it were a mix of the two; looks like Pidgeot, but has Starraptor's stats.

I'd be pissed. They didn't really give any hints with the RB remakes did they? I don't recall. I think that would just be an utter waste of time if they weren't going to make the remakes. To go out of their way to put al three in the movie and advertise them would be pointless.

Pidgeot is far better than Starraptor. It would have better moves if it were a more common Pokemon in DPPt.

It's by far not the worst option a forum provides. A user name is a user name, but interests change. I mean your user name could be based off something you like, and six months down the road you don't like it anymore. But we just started, and for someone to not like their user name is just absurd right now. It's early enough where you don't have a giant post count you don't want to lose.

Well that and the three starters being in a Gen IV movie. The biggest of the three nonetheless.

Empoleon is unoriginal in a way. Plus it sounds like an Eevee evolution.. Which we don't need another of but will probably get. And how can you say Typhlosion is not appealing? It's sprouting fire from it's back. It's just an awesome looking creature. The whole second gen. starter trio has good looking final stages though. It started going downhill with the third gen.

Well if you look at the time frames, FR/LG we released around this time when RSE was the new generation, so if it is going to happen it should be somewhere in the near near future.

The fire starter is usually the best looking. I really can't think of any of the others that look better than its' trio's fire type.
