    yes i believe so but it depends on what version you buy (special editions etc) but iirc the highest firmware sold on a new 3ds was 8.x (not 100% sure) (by new 3ds i mean a normal 3ds not the new version)

    if you have problems with this you can always download the source https://github.com/kwsch/pk3DS here and open the pk3ds.snl in visual studio (there is a free version on the microsoft website if you don't own it) and run it from there

    make a folder called pk3ds put the exefs folder & romfs folder into the pk3ds folder rename exefs folder to exe rename the code.bin to .code.bin drag the pk3ds folder into the program and it should load make sure u use the latest version

    once you have everything finnished rebuild romfs with https://github.com/SciresM/RomFS-Builder/releases then rebuild rom with the romfs you just remade and install update 1.2 for oras or 1.3 for x/y

    you need to decrypt the rom first then rebuild it

    did you try the second way with turning off wireless starting browser and turning on wireless again when on the bookmark page http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44561-PCEdit-Full-PC-Dumping-and-Injection-for-X-Y-OR-AS sometimes when you take to long to enter the link it doesn't work (something i have experienced some off the times) if it doesn't work you can always try the RAM2sav method http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44618-RAM2Sav-Save-File-Dumping-Injection-for-X-Y-OR-AS

    i have this wierd problem i was using ohana3ds when i tried to load charmander texture it give me this error ( http://imgur.com/OuMfr6E ) i have never had before and its only with a few pokemon charmander charmeleon and charizard some others i can't remember

    yes you can change the typing of an attack and pokemon you can change it with http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44950-pk3DS-XY-ORAS-ROM-Editor-amp-Randomizer yes you can change pokemon color etc with http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?44168-Ohana3DS-(BCH-Tool) for the rebuilding rom there is a guide on doing so but can't remember the website pack your romfs folder back into bin with this https://github.com/SciresM/RomFS-Builder/releases replace the original romfs with the one you repacked rebuild rom put it on your gateway and have update v1.2 for oras or 1.3 for x/y installed

    if its holding the griseous orb it changes forms so thats prob the problem

    catch a wild poke in game dump your save right click view the poke you caught go to OT/Misc tab and there you have trainer information TID and SID + OT

    did you make sure the file was saved as .ekx eggs mean it was not .ekx
