  1. Like I said in another topic, I managed to catch Giratina in a regular Poke ball. I wanted to save my Master ball for Mesprit.
  2. 1. Grass- lots of weaknesses, but I don't care 2. Psychic- yeah, psychic powers would be cool 3. Dragon- I guess it's just the whole mythological aspect of them
  3. Either Bidoof or Starly. I can't remember which of the two I encountered first, but whichever it was, that was my first capture.
  4. I'm going with Flygon. It's just so cool looking:D
  5. Use a fast Pokemon with Mean Look, Block, or Spider Web. They won't be able to run away after that, provided you don't switch your Pokemon. I used a high-level Umbreon with Mean Look and Baton Pass, so I could trap them and then switch to a more powerful Pokemon to weaken them (Mean Look's effect stays active when you use Baton Pass to switch). Watch out though, all three of them know Roost and aren't afraid to use it. What I eventually did was weaken them and put them to sleep, then ran away myself so that eventually all three of them were running around Sinnoh asleep and with 1 HP left. Then I hunted them down one by one and just threw Ultra/Dusk/Quick balls at them until I caught them all. It took me quite a long time.
  6. It's possible to catch legendaries in Poke balls, just very hard. I myself managed to catch Giratina in Platinum with a Poke ball. I was really surprised, I threw that Poke ball more as a joke than anything.
  7. My favorite Pokeball is whichever one manages to catch the Pokemon:p Oh and pokemonfan, Premier Balls are just like ordinary Poke balls, same catch rate and everything, but they have a different design. You get a free one in a Poke mart whenever you buy ten regular Poke balls at one time. Actually, I've used Premier balls to catch the two shinies that I've randomly encountered (Budew and Floatzel).
  8. I'm going to say Fantina, at least in Diamond and Pearl. None of the gyms were particularly hard in Platinum for me. Now if we were to talk about across all four generations, I'd say either Clair (I know a lot of people cite Whitney and her Miltank as the toughest gym fight across the generations, but I always had a tougher time with Clair's Kingdra than Miltank) or Tate and Liza (for some reason I always struggled with them, especially in Emerald).
  9. You apparently have a shiny Beldum. Words cannot express how jealous I am.
  10. My first ever shiny was a Piplup. I was restarting my Pearl game to get all three Sinnoh starters onto my Diamond game. I about had a heart attack when I realized that not only had I finally gotten a shiny pokemon, but it was a starter.
  11. I don't care how unpopular he appears to be on this topic, I'm going with Turtwig. Some of us do like the idea of a pokemon with a landscape on its back, pokemonfan:p
  12. It's not that I think Sky Forme is ugly, it's just that it's not nearly as cute as Land Forme.
  13. I'm going with Shaymin (Land Forme at least). Mew is a very close second however.
  14. Here's everything I could think of about Pokerus that hasn't already been covered. If I missed something feel free to expand on it.
  15. I like the idea of an Ice/Dragon Pokemon, especially if it is, in my humble opinion, a Dewgong evolution. But all I really want is a Grass/Dragon Pokemon. Grass is my favorite type and a Grass/Dragon would be especially awesome!
  16. Great guide, but there is one thing I can think of that should probably be added. You didn't make any mention of the Power items.
  17. 1) Venusaur 2) Shaymin 3) Togekiss 4) Mew 5) Spiritomb
