  1. So if Crystal is already supported by Bank, does that mean a Celebi from the GS ball event can be transferred? I'm guessing people already tried to transfer a Celebi and failed... but I wonder if someone tried properly setting the two caught data bytes in the mon data used only by mons from Crystal? Edit: wow, I haven't been on here in so long, I never noticed the avatars are now all forced into squares. Ruined my avatar.
  2. I have a question - are the nature/IVs assigned to shadow Pokémon still being severely limited by the Pokémon before it? What happens is, the Pokémon are generated in order, and for whatever reason, the unmodified game decides to check each PID for the non-shadow Pokémon, and reject it if it doesn't fit their assigned nature/gender, or is shiny. This limits the possible spreads on the next Pokémon severely - a single 50% gender ratio Pokémon before the shadow one will cut the available spreads from 2^32 to 1/50th of that (1/25 for matching nature, then 1/2 for 50/50 gender). Since even 2^32 possible IV/nature combinations don't yield every single possibility, the nature/gender lock of non-shadow Pokémon really hurts. I imagine it would be easier to make the shadow Pokémon get generated first than to add a function that would modify the PID of the non-shadow Pokémon to fit their assigned nature/gender. Colosseum actually does the former for many Pokémon - notably the gen 2 legendary beasts are generated first, allowing for all 2^32 possibilities.
  3. Just an FYI, but all of the 420 Mystery Mew have known PID/IVs, and none of them were shiny.
  4. Well it sounds like the exploit won't have access to the signing key, otherwise I'd think that it could be used to load ROMs, which was stated to not be possible... But I don't really know what's possible and what isn't.
  5. Asking for help to bypass any official check, including the one for Pokémon Bank is against the policy of this site.
  6. Cleverly = not via Gateway emuNAND. Different encryption for some reason.
  7. A-Save assumes that the ability is determined by the PID, when it's actually determined by a specific bit. Normally, this is unimportant, but Pokémon from the Gamecube titles can have the ability not match the PID.
  8. Are you able to transfer the Pokémon from your FR cart all the way to 5th gen by the intended way? Pokégen has an issue sometimes.
  9. The Togepi line can't be captured in HG/SS at all, so yes, it's definitely hacked. Not just someone hacking in the balls then capturing, straight up hacked.
  10. The instant you modify a Pokémon outside of in-game means, it's no longer legitimate; hence, your Mewtwo is hacked. Also, it's against the policy of Project Pokémon to give information in regards to bypassing any official Pokémon check, such as the transfer to Pokémon Bank.
  11. Well thank you for proving my point to all of the defenders of the .pkm file support of Pokécheck. You're a shining example of the users who abuse the site.
  12. Considering that the only time you need to know if something is a hack is from a trade, and you can't trade anymore... Oh, and how many people use it for "getting their hack to pass"... yeah. Edit: And by looking at the OP's posts, it's clear to me that he's not using it to check things obtained in a trade...
  13. This is the first time I've ever heard of someone using such a solution - it's not needed, and opens up your computer to potentially dangerous things. I HIGHLY recommend NOT doing that for any reason.
  14. It's fine. There should be a check where if the Wondercard gift is a Pokémon in an egg, then don't bring up that message because it will always hatch with your OT. But there isn't.
  15. While there is no hard evidence as to -only tutors for Mew, nobody has come forth with evidence that more than one of those moves can be offered at the same time (a full four-move moveset is offered).
  16. That move has been reported as missing from the DW exclusive moveset of Axew before. Other DW ability Pokémon showing up as hacked are either the special TCG participation ones (Double-Edge Metagross, Steel Wing Scizor, ExtremeSpeed Dragonite, and Seismis Toss Tyranitar), or are genuinely illegal.
  17. Ah, that bug. Method 1 gift type Pokémon are mistakenly using Method J/K. J/K (and H) are subsets of Method 1, but not all of the Method 1 spreads are in J/K/H. That spread happens to be one of them, so it is erroneously flagged as illegal.
  18. Well there isn't really a point in deleting unused content unless it would allow for one less disc to be used for the game. Plus you never know if something else relies on it. Translating it on the other hand...
  19. Basically two mons with the exact same OT and game version have a different message when it comes to the TID/SID combination
  20. There are other things that set the fateful flag. Most notably, every single Pokémon from Gale of Darkness has it set. Not that it actually does anything, since removing it has no effect on the Pokémon.
  21. Wouldn't cracking this affect ALL 3DS games? Something tells me Nintendo wouldn't like that, and they'd make large efforts to close any holes that people find due to the sheer magnitude of things.
  22. Bolded the part that you appear to have missed.
  23. That's the in-game anti-cheat mechanism kicking in.
  24. You know, you should read the announcement about how Project Pokémon doesn't support cheating. An illegal Pokémon doesn't have any negative effects in-game. The only reason anyone would want their created Pokémon to appear legal is to fool someone into thinking it's legitimate - whether it's some kind of official checker, or for ripping people off in trades.
