  1. As someone who hasn't been on a battle simulator in months, I can't answer about the current game. But what I can say is the metagame and competitive environment are constantly evolving. You'll need to make tweaks to your team constantly if a new threat rises up, and even completely overhaul it if something goes and gets banned to ubers, like Speed Boost Blaziken did.
  2. Did you even bother reading the team? Jirachi has U-Turn, allowing it an easy escape from Magnezone. Forretress has Shed Shell, so it can escape even if Magnezone has Magnet Pull. Blissey walls it to no end and has Protect to scout out Explosion, or can just switch to Mismagius.

  4. I have closed several of your threads for exactly this reason. Stop posting in-game teams. Here's your rate for every single in-game team: Anything can work in-game. It's fine. It's perfect. Feel free to re-post once you add EVs, natures, abilities, and a role for each Pokemon and an overall strategy for your team. If you post ANOTHER in-game team outside of the In-Game team thread, I'm going to issue a hefty infraction.
  5. This is not a help thread. Go to the Miscellaneous forum, read the stickied threads, and search before posting.
  6. I had 101 new VMs as well. All from wraith, within the last 30 minutes.
  7. Team Discussion is a different forum In-Game teams don't need team discussion threads because anything can work.

  9. You have to use the Poketransfer method to activate the event. Someone's working on a program that will simulate the method, but right now, oyu have to transfer it properly to actually activate the Zorua/Zoruak event.
  10. Every one of your team ideas has a huge weakness. Your steel types don't have any defense against Ground or Fighting, and all take neutral damage to Water, probably the 3 most common types of moves in the game. Your dark team similarly has a huge weakness for fighting, and Spiritomb is easily 2HKOed by most neutral damage STABS. Your Legendary team likely puts you up in the ubers section, and so on. Eevee teams also have a lot of common weaknesses. In fact, of all the Eeveelutions, no one resists or is immune to Ground or Fighting. 3 of them are weak to Bug (Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon), and none of them are all that bulky without a couple of stat boosts. Basically, these are huge gimmick teams. Not all that creative, a lot of obvious flaws, and would take either a lot of luck to pull it off, or facing against inexperienced trainers. It's kind of like the FEAR strategy. Sure, it's great when you use it against someone who doesn't know it's ocming, but once they know about it, it's quite easy to counter.
  11. Anything can be used for in-game (gyms+e4). No need to rate it.
  12. HG/SS incorporated 95% of what Yellow did with following Pokemon. The only thing that isn't there is anime Team Rocket, which was a minor aspect of Yellow anyway.
  13. Since Bond697's hosting is on hold at the moment, I'm going to close this thread. It will stay stickied since his GTS hosting in Gen 4 is still ongoing. This thread really isn't for general help about how to make your own GTS, take that to the appropriate Game Mechanics and Research forum. Bond697, please PM me and I'll re-open the thread when you're ready, or you can start a new one.
  14. You need to put them into a 4th gen game, and then transfer them to Black or White.
  15. HG gives you access to Gen III and IV through some game mechanics such as the Sinnoh Sounds, the Safari Zone, and the Pokewalker. Hell, Steven gives you a Beldum and one of the Hoenn starters. Kyogre is available in HG as well. You shouldn't worry about competitive play if you haven't even completed the main game yet. Most people are holding off on Wi-Fi competitive play anyway since the Dream World is where a lot of berries will be released at, including the EV reducing berries.
  16. Why not just play the game and wait to transfer your Pokemon until you get the Naitonal Dex? B/W is made to encourage you to use the 150+ new guys, not the same ones you've been playing with for 10 years.
  17. Do you not know how to type? Right click, Save As, then save it to whatever directory you want.
  18. This post is a complete mess. This is Team Discussion. A team is generally accepted as a team of 6. Or in some cases, 4 or 3. Either way, that doesn't mean post 20 different Pokemon. Also, format. Don't make it one big wall of text. Re-post when you can format it a bit better.
  19. Pokesav is released by COM. Go ask him. But he only speaks Japanese, so you might need to hire a translator.
  20. Please don't speak like this if you aren't staff. ARs and flashcarts are not a banned topic of discussion.
  21. It does not make legit Pokemon. No external device or program can make legit Pokemon. Legit: The origins of the Pokemon come from a cart/save file with no unofficial external devices tampering with the save file. This means you know the origin of the Pokemon to either be captured yourself, hatched yourself, or received from an official Nintendo event. Legal: A Pokemon that falls within the legal parameters set by the game, but either it's true origin is unknown (Pokemon acquired from trades often fall into this category) or it was made or modified by an unofficial external program or device such as Pokegen. Illegal: A Pokemon that does not fall within the legal parameters set by the game. The only way these Pokemon can exist is through external programs and devices being used to modify a save file. On another note, PP rules explicitly state that we do not support cheating in tournaments. It is a bannable offense. Not saying anybody here was planning to do so, but it's worth reminding everyone. There are no guides, that I know of. Best if you just dive right in, and ask questions as needed.
