I've always thought it would be cool if they gave all the starters alternate final forms, not that it'll ever happen but this is just sort of an example. Not including any legends I'd say from my personal experience that Umbreon with Curse/Wish works wonderfully. Curse Snorlax also works very effectively also. I usually have either one or both of them in my team when I wifi battle.

Okay, so personally I've always had a love for the dark types and the dragons and this generation makes no exceptions. Now because of this I almost peed myself when they added a Dark/Dragon type in Hydreigon, just from seeing the way he looks plus the typing as well as pretty stellar stats I think I have a pokemon who can compete with Charizard as my hands down favorite. What're you guys' favorites as of right now?

I've had quite a few shiny encounters outside of the red Gyarados in the johto games. My first, however, was in Crystal. I got into a battle with a shiny Graveler and sadly enough he used self-destruct before I could catch him. My next encounter was a green Marill in Ruby (?) I can't remember the game really, but I caught it and leveled it to 50s then thought to myself, what am I doing leveling an Azumarill!? Next was a Makuhita in victory road on Emerald. I didn't have any pokeballs. I was ticked. When FR/LG came out I soft reset my game for about a month until I got a shiny Charmander. I've also pokeradar chained over 20 different shinies as well as hatched a few too including 2 Bagons, a Beldum and a Charmander. Well, that's been my shiny encounters in a nutshell.

Haha yeahh, there's nothing left to do in my game though. Already beat every gym leader multiple times as well as beaten all of the frontier brains twice. I just kinda wanted something, uhh, different.

I lead with the event pichu with Endeavor. The hail finished them both off. Weavile (level 67) took out his Pikachu and Snorlax. Charizard (level 72) with D-Dance and stone edge and Fire Blast (mixed EV's in Sp Atk and Atk) that took out his Venusaur and Charizard before being KO'ed by Blastoise. Raichu (level 67) Max attack + choice band + Volt Tackle killed both Blastoise and Raichu. Dragonite (level 68) max attack + Choice Band and Outrage got his Lapras low, Blizzard missed then Outrage finished it. I purposely like to carry these battles down to the wire or else they're no fun to me.

Shiny Charizard! Either him or Salamence or Garchomp, but mostly Charizard.
