  1. Hiya, i have a request that im sure a bunch of ppl would love

Is it possible to make it so that a partially decrypted .bin file can sav exported after its been edited

My reason being that as nice as it if to see my entire save file on pkhex, it would be even better to be able to inject it back onto cartridge

    Thanx in advance hassan ali

Every cartridge has unique encryption and signatures, so even if you had a decrypted save it would do you no good.

  2. Hey there, I have downloaded this tool, but can't open my old .pkm files with it. I tried both opening them by clicking "File>Open.." and by right clicking the .pkm files themselves, then "Open with..." and selecting PKHeX. None worked. What's wrong? I want to start by converting all my files to .pkx so that I can somehow inject them to my games whenever a tool for that is released for non-japanese systems.
PKHeX doesn't support launch arguments besides executable names.

    1) File->Open; change the extension filter to All Files (*.*) then select the pkm file.

    2) Drag the PKM files into the window, then drag the PKX file out via the side panel quicksave (which is to the left of the Main Tab).

    3) Alternatively, you can just import a folder via Tools -> Load/Dump Boxes, then dump them back to another folder (which will save as .pk6)

  3. Hi there Kaphotics, let me first say what a great job you've done in building a gen6 pokegen. I'm just about to buy myself a japanese 3ds, game and cyber save gadget. I noticed there is now a Cyber save gadget 2 out... Will this also be compatible with your PKHeX software? Thanks

Cyber Save Editor is equivalent to Cyber Save Editor 2, just an updated package.

  4. Oh, well there's an error with Give All that sets the disabled checkboxes (which is now fixed);

I think the error might be due to having Female portions set for genderless Pokemon, or some sort of 'complete' flag not being set.

I'll wait for SciresM to test it, and I might just end up completely replacing the user's entire Pokedex with a pre-assembled version.

I'd steer clear of the two dex altering buttons until the exact reason for the 'corruption' is found.

  5. Uploaded a new version addressing awesometeemo's & someonewhodied's concerns.

    Patch Notes:

    - Alt clicking [Fill All] will add all of the "Encountered" flags; by default this does not happen.

    - Fixed: Pokedex corruption (I hope).

I disabled the checkboxes for certain circumstances in which they shouldn't be set by the user. Once I test some more with SciresM/etc I'll be able to update those ??? and hopefully the dex editor will then be finished.

  6. Full pokedex corrupts save.

The ????s are megas. You can only check the male/female/male shiny/female shiny boxes

I'll fix that for the next update. With the purpose narrowed down I guess I can work on replacing the ???'s.

With ~40 entries, it's not difficult to just manually fix them for now...

  7. 08/18/14 - New Update:

    - Added: Import Database will now add the Pokedex entries for the data you load.

    - Added: Pokedex Give All Entries added (Fill Dex gives everything, Give All gives all for the specific species).

    - Fixed: Level 100 glitching fixed.

    - Removed: Backup (.bak) saving when replacing the Cyber Save file "main".

  8. So does anyone know why this Mega Gengar seems to have an alternate colour scheme? Is it possible there is data for unused sprites still leftover in the game? He used PKHeX. It's only on the status screen and not in battle which suggests it didn't get as far as the 3D model stage

Because Megas aren't supposed to be viewable in that manner; viewing in the box / party causes this particular model's effects to screw up.

  9. I was looking at the Project Pokemon Wondercard listing for Gen VI, and noticed that none of them have a download for PKHeX. Is this going to be changed, or is there somewhere else that Wondercard files are being stored?

@Localhorst: Try PlayAsia.com; they supply tons of Japanese games, accessories and more; I order almost everything video-game related from there (Shipping is often around $15, but is 1-2 day shipping, so I usually try to order several items together to save on the cost).

I ended up ordering my Cyber Editor from Amazon.com though, because of free shipping (almost a month delivery time though...).

They haven't been aggregated due to there being no injection method up until this month. There might be one in the future, but there's downloadable wc6's in the Event Contribution Thread.

  10. 08/16/14 - New Update:

    - Added: Clicking the OT name with a save file will load the Country/Region/3DS Region/Language settings, but not the game.

    - Added: Import Database can now import past gen files too, as they will be converted to the new PKX format.

    - Fixed: Importing past gen files with party data will no longer have 'invalid checksums' or fail to load.

    - Fixed: Externally edited saves with bad data are handled more efficiently (items/sprites).

    - Fixed: Users entering values above a certain limit (byte values are capped at 255).

  11. I have a question. Gateway do my 3DS Region-Free, but the save are encrypted with the 4.5 key. Can I use a JAP game in my 3DS and edit later? Or if I use it on my 3DS I cant use CyberGadget?

Wrongly encrypted saves from gateway cannot be used with Powersaves or Cyber Save Editor, as they only work on proper retail copies.

  12. "~" appear if you haven't run the program with 3 different states of Empty/Filled1/Filled2. If it's only had Empty + Filled1/2, it'll display Filled1/2 with a "~", as it can't know if it is empty or full. When you did 4 files, you likely dumped with the 3 different states in many slots, which caused the "~" to no longer appear as the program has all 3 states of data.

The program doesn't decrypt your save file, it only brute forces out portions of the data. If it can't brute force with absolute certainty, you'll either get the "~" uncertain slots or no data appearing.

  13. Suggestion:

    1. A set file trainer as OT for pokemon.

    2. A way to save trainer "profiles". (Game(X/Y), Gender, ID, SID, language, Region, subregion, 3DS region) and "quick load" those when setting those fields while editing pokemon.

Clicking the OT label will set the save file trainer as the OT or latest handler (depending on what was clicked).

I guess I can add to the OT setting for the Language/Region/Sub/3DS, but the profiles won't happen.
