  1. Hi, first post here! Funny how my GB Operator just arrived today, as it seems it is now precisely 25 years ago when the Tennispalatsi Mew event was held here in Finland. Anyhow, to cut a long story short, here is my Mew from my old Red cartridge. The battery has, impressively enough, survived for 25 years. I will head to have it changed on saturday now that I managed to back up my save. I found this site when researching these event Pokémon, so I suppose it's appropriate to share it here today. This save is exactly how I left the game somewhere around 2001 or so, Bill's PC should still contain the Pokémon I attended the Finnish Championship qualifiers in 2000 or something with, such as Dugtrio, Double Rester Articuno and Hyper Beam Spam Dragonite etc :DD Back then finnish players used to hang out on the #PKMN IRC-channel in ircnet or something, so the "competitive" players already knew eachother online.   7. For myself I spliced the save into 3 parts: save A, save B, and then the reset of the save. To get a grasp of the situation I spliced both saves into their 14 data blocks. Then I checked the save index of each of the 14 block to see if they were all the same. Save A had 10 matching blocks that had the same save index and Save B had 12 matching blocks that had the same save index. Meaning that save A had 4 blocks that was a duplicate of an existing block in the save and save B had 2 blocks that was a duplicate in the save. For either of the saves to be valid the save will need all 14 blocks and not missing any section ID numbers from 0-13. Do note the blocks are not aways 0-13 and rotate each time you save. So after the first time you save the block order will be 13, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 but all must be present in a rotating numerical order. In your case you were lucky as blocks 0-4 were intact which include trainer info, team/items, game state, misc data, and rival info. If any of those blocks were missing that block would have to be provided from a doner save and you would have to use PKHeX to modify the data to match what you had before. In addition you PC box A was intact with the rest of them being empty. So then I stitch save A back together in numerical order 0-13 to make sure I didn't miss anything and the missing blocks were just PC boxes which I duplicated one of you empty boxes to fill out the save. After that I made sure all the section IDs were in the correct order and updated the section IDs of the added box blocks so all 14 sections were present. Then I placed the save into the save A spot and duplicated it into the save B spot that way both saves were valid and then stitch on the rest of the save that I spliced off. Afterwards I opened it in PKHeX to make sure it loaded and used it to export the save to update the checksums. Then loaded the save on an emulator to make sure it was good to go. For the record this is the first time I did a fix where I had to fix the save blocks so I was learning while I was doing this. All of these steps can be condensed and made more simple.   9. Looked like the there was an interruption while saving so there where duplicate blocks in the save. There may be a bit of data loss but unless you had things in your last boxes then there shouldn't be too much loss. Pokemon - Edicion Esmeralda (Spain).sav

    PKVault is a Pokemon storage & save manipulation tool based on PKHeX. This tool is similar to Pokemon Home, for an offline use. Storage & save manipulation compatible with all pokemon games, from first generation to Pokemon Legends: Z-A transfer pokemons between saves convert pokemon to any generation (ex. The app includes a centralized Pokedex with search filters (by name, games, types, etc), as well as living-dex and shiny-dex support. An auto-backup system prevents data loss. Saves & pkms are backed up before any write actions ! Saves are read from your file system, you don't have to upload them to PKVault, provide your saves paths and the app will get them itself. PKHeX is used under the hood, so all your stored pkm are in PKHeX format and can be manipulated by PKHeX directly. Compatibility & legality PKVault aims to be compatible with every save file supported by PKHeX. Creating a pkm "version" means converting a copy between generations, which may cause legality issues with origin, moves, etc. These issues are all displayed on the app, and you can use PKHeX to fix them. Currently, English & French are supported by the app. It can evolve depending on feedbacks. Bugs & issues A backup system exists to avoid any data loss even in case of bugs when writing save. You can still encounter bugs and other issues. Please report any issue on github or project-pokemon discussion to help improve the app. Why I made this app My good old first gens Pokemon games lost their saves due to empty internal battery. So I decided to replay the first games and continue through to the latest generations, with the goal of fully completing all the pokedex. I was frustrated about barriers between some generations (2->3, 4->3, ...), and by how difficult it was to get some pkms, like Slowpoke in Gen3 even though I already had one in my Crystal (Gen2) save. Also it's hard today to get all trade-only evolutions like Alakazam, and I didn't like the limited usability of TMs in the early generations. While PKHeX can fix all these issues and more, but I wanted something more tailored to my needs, and more restricted: PKVault restricts cheating possibilities. Finally I wanted something like Pokemon Home, but for the old games as well. For all these reasons I created PKVault.   11. Hi, new release: 1.3.0, focused on box management. Now PKVault includes banks ! Each bank contains boxes (which include pkms). You can choose which bank is default, so PKVault starts displaying this selected bank. Also, you can save current storage view (selected box and saves), so that on bank select saved view is displayed. Box list was redesigned too with more details. And each box can be edited, changing name, type, slot count, order, and linked bank. So boxes can be moved from a bank to another. That's it !   15. Spent the last couple months and 300 hours later I think I have seen just about everything this hack has to offer. I felt obligated to make an account just to say how much I have enjoyed playing through this having never really beaten the post game of the original. The changes you have made are truely transformative and it goes without saying this is the definitive way to play PMD. Thanks for your efforts, eagerly waiting for whatever you have planned for this in the future.

  18. Probably isn't safe to change ranked match counts when GameFreak's servers could know you didn't actually do them. Can't you connect online and do them yourself? These stats are editable in the Event Flag editor.

    Finally the Japan-exclusive WiiWare Pokémon Mystery Dungeon titles, the Adventure Squad series, have been translated! Patches for each game have been released after months and months of hard work from fans of the series. The team has also restored the event Pokémon that were distributed for this game. Other features of the translation include: -Pokémon nickname limit expanded to 10 characters (Japanese 5) -Buddy Passwords fully functional. These can now be found by hitting the Wii Home button, then pressing the "Operations Guide" button. -Pre-patched with Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24 for ease of event access. Friend Rescues do not work currently, but are being looked into. -Item icons and many descriptions ported from Super Mystery Dungeon -Dummied/beta items ported from Explorers of Sky have been restored. Inaccessible in-game, can be accessed with cheats. -It's in English now, which is cool. New to version 2.0 is the fully restored Friend Rescue system.   23. I've force-loaded the save file in PKHeX in order to export your Party and Box data, attached. There was enough damaged in the save file metadata sections that part of the party data/OT data was lost, as well as the overall save structure data. Box and Party rip.zip

  24. The met date on redeemed events is the date that you set your Switch on, meaning it can legally be any date that the Switch allows. The wondercard is where the real-time date will be since that is set server-side, but theoretically there is no issues to have the date set as today. It will just look suspicious to others. If you somehow have a Galar Shiny Eternatus with a met date of November 22, 2025 and you suddenly start listing that you have the Shiny Eternatus on the real world date of November 22, 2025, and you've had no indication that you've had it before then, people will ask where you got it from. Remember, injecting wondercards is legal at best and shouldn't be claimed as legitimate when talking to others.

  26. Hi everyone, I’m using PKHeX for the first time with Pokémon Legends ZA, and I’ve run into a problem. I’m currently stuck at the part where you need a Mega Evolution stone for Absol. I tried to add the stone through PKHeX, but my Inventory only shows four tabs: Medicine TMs Other items Key Items Originally, only two sections were visible, then TMs appeared later, and now I still can’t get the other item categories to show up. Because of this, I can’t add the Mega Stone, and since Absol can’t hold items i can't move on from this mission Has anyone run into this issue? Is there a way to unlock the missing inventory categories or force-add the Mega Stone so I can progress? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  27. Hiya!! First of all, I love this hack a lot. I've already clocked like 70 hours in it and am planning to play even more! I made an account just to post in this thread. Most of the bugs I've encountered have been reported already, but here's what I noticed anyway. Apologies for repetition. Second, more important thing: I made a spreadsheet for keeping track of your recruits with all currently available Pokémon in Explorers of Fortune! The spreadsheet is here. To use it (or just test it out), make a copy of it! You can do that in the File menu. Disclaimer: It's a bit jank. I'm only human, so there may be mistakes. The formatting isn't completely clean, with some Pokémon added in the second column. If you feel the need, you're free to edit the spreadsheet yourself as much as you'd like once you make your copy. Make it your own! It features some custom formatting: If you have only part of an evolution line, the checked off Pokémon will be purple. If you have every Pokémon in an evolution line, the whole line will turn pink! (It does not count shiny variants or forms and Pokémon listed in the second column and beyond.) If you want different colors, go into the Conditional Formatting menu (left click on the column, select View more cell actions, and then select Conditional formatting to view and edit what you'd like). As noted earlier in this thread, you can't recruit everything. There's a recruit limit of 552 in Explorers of Sky, also noted in the spreadsheet. (I'd be interested in a patch that allows more recruits, but I couldn't find anything. My guess as someone who's never made a mod before is that there are, like many other things in this game, structural restrictions that make it difficult or impossible to make said patch.) I hope this helps someone! Sorry for the long post.

  28. This thread isn't for requestion help in troubleshooting user edits; this is not an issue with PKHeX. When you trade Gen1->Gen2, it must evolve. All 3 are trade evolutions. Virtual console does not have access to Stadium, which can move pkm between cartridges without trading.

Hack of: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon Released: 25th July 2018 Updated: 23rd August 2018 Current Version: 1.05 Summary Named after Necrozma’s signature moves, Photonic Sun and Prismatic Moon are enhanced versions of Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. They include all the usual features you’d expect in this sort of hack; stronger trainers, the ability to catch and train any Pokémon you want, and Ultra Changes easier access to powerful items. Training most Pokémon in the hacks is also much easier; they’ll learn egg moves by simply levelling up, won’t need to be traded to evolve, and will hatch from eggs extremely quickly. Trainers and wild Pokémon are designed around leaving the EXP Share ON from the moment you get it, so switching it off too often isn't recommended. Photonic Sun and Prismatic Moon are each available in two distinct versions – Rebalanced and Standard. Both versions are fully documented; you can click here to browse all the important changes, or keep reading for a quick overview: Rebalanced This version of Photonic Sun or Prismatic Moon includes many changes to Pokémon stats, types, abilities and movesets, making many weaker Pokémon more powerful. Some of these changes are inspired by other ROM hacks, such as Drayano's Blaze Black and Volt White and luuma’s Altered Emerald, but most changes are taken directly from my earlier hacks, Eternal X and Wilting Y. New additions include: Faster Alola – Tsareena, Vikavolt, Decidueye and more now have much higher speed stats. Kommo-o has regained Shell Smash, but this time it’s available to the player! Golisopod can now choose not to make an Emergency Exit, and learns Razor Shell after it evolves instead of before it evolves. Ariados’ signature move, Toxic Thread, now harshly lowers a foe’s Speed, Defense and Special Defense, as well as poisoning them! Water Pulse has been buffed to 80 base power, giving Ice-Types valuable type coverage and boosting the power of Pokémon with Mega Launcher. The Rebalanced version also includes three new TMs and two new move tutors, which have a significant impact on the game: TM60 can now teach Aura Sphere to any Pokémon that can learn Focus Blast. TM79 can now teach any Ice-type Freeze Dry, which has 95 base power. TM100 brings back the classic Curse TM from Gold and Silver, and just like the original, it’s compatible with any Pokémon that can learn TMs! Sucker Punch and Natural Gift can now be tutored to many newer Pokémon. Standard If the changes in the Rebalanced version don’t appeal to you, but you still want to try the hack, this version of Photonic Sun or Prismatic Moon is for you. It omits the Pokémon and move changes from the Rebalanced Version but retains all the hack’s other features, including access to egg moves by leveling up, and the Golisopod/Razor Shell fix mentioned above. Note that Pokémon captured in this version will NOT be legal for online play, but their offspring will be, provided they don’t learn any egg moves they didn’t have when they hatched. I wouldn’t suggest going online with the hack installed, and while transferring Pokémon bred in the hack to Pokémon Bank should be fine, you do so at your own risk. Ultra Difficulty Changes Photonic Sun and Prismatic Moon completely overhaul the game’s difficulty, giving new tools to both the player and their opponents: Unlike the base games, average trainers will commonly have more than one Pokémon! Rising Stars, Ace Trainers and Veterans will be a cut above the rest and should be expected to put up a bit of a fight. Important characters will eventually (not immediately!) be packing full teams of six, complete with held items, beneficial natures, and custom EV spreads. Totem Pokémon have new auras, new allies and new or improved strategies! Easy, early access to Ability Capsules allows players to switch their Pokémon’s abilities at will. Modified in-game trades provide useful items and stronger Pokémon, right when you need them. Pokémon can be EV trained with zero grinding! EV reduction berries are available cheaply at the Thrifty Megamart; using them to remove unwanted EVs occasionally will eventually get you the stats you want. All TMs are available before defeating the Elite Four! The post-game TMs are very expensive, but they can be purchased in Tapu Village if you want access to them earlier. Catch’em All Even though there are now over 800 Pokémon, they have all been carefully placed throughout Alola to ensure that each of them is found somewhere that makes sense. And, much like the base games, Photonic Sun and Prismatic Moon offer players a few unusual team building options, including very early Ice-Types and access to low level Mythical Pokémon via USUM’s Island Scan feature - they’re a little broken, but very fun to use! Additionally, all Legendary Pokémon that were previously version exclusive can now be found in the Ultra Wormhole in both versions of the game (except the Cosmog line; Cosmoem will evolve into the opposite version's cover Legendary instead). Ultra Screenshots Download and Installation Your preferred version of the hack can be downloaded from Google Drive by clicking here (link removed, as it includes files from the rom), then right-clicking the folder you want and selecting download. The files are set up for immediate, easy installation using luma 3DS’ game patching feature, and an installation guide is included in the download if you need it. Note that the hacks require the title update for Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon to be installed in order to work properly. If you don’t have custom firmware on your 3DS, you can follow this guide to set it up. Alternatively, the games can be played on PC via Citra (a 3DS emulator), though I won’t be able to help you set them up for this. A few things worth mentioning: I can't do anything about the endless cutscenes just yet; any attempt to change them causes the game to crash. For the same reason, I can't give players an earlier Mega Ring. If you want to use a save editor to give yourself one anyway (I fully encourage this, but it's not mandatory), the best time to do so would be immediately after defeating Guzma in Malie Garden.   36. Go to Fashion Editor > AllInOne and type in this ID. Consider making it IsEquipped on top of being IsOwned. You probably need to visit or have visited the clothing store Boutique Couture at Vernal Avenue for the clothing to show up. (The game does this thing where we can't just import clothing items without having visiting shops that has it or a family of it)

  37. Using the berry plugin in sapphire and it just seems to say the wrong berry when opening i have pecha berries in this spot when i attempt to edit into the correct berry parts of just corrupt
