Starting from Nov 6 to Nov 10 2020, the official poke_times Twitter Account started an event challenge to commemorate the release of The Crown Tundra DLC. Only 10.000 winners will be able to redeem this event code. As such, players will not be able to inject this event into their save using PKHeX. PKHeX needs to be updated for GMax Melmetal to be flagged legal. Also, it can't be traded online as it's a new event. Give it some time and it should be tradeable soon. It happens every time a new event Pokemon previously locked before is distributed.2 points

Nope, there isn't a way to do this in PKHeX. Someone would have to find where these values are stored in the save, and then document them adequately for implementation. Since it's an entirely cosmetic value change, this would be very low priority to implement, and would realistically only be implemented if someone else did it and submitted a pull request.1 point

Yes PKHeX needs to be updated to add them to PKHeX's legality registers Trading has NOTHING to do with PKHeX. It's just that the server's whitelist hasn't been updated yet. Truth ^^1 point
