This QR code has already been leaked to the web. I found it via Google Images on a site where you can sell and buy stuff by searching "キミにきめたキャップ ピカチュウ". Such sites can be really helpful if people forgot to cover the code lol. It's probably the same for everyone though. Exactly that! This is pretty interesting. I have thought the game might see this as a Wonder QR Code (like if you scan a random QR where the game then just displays an out-of-dex Pokemon), because that's also the way how they handled Secret Base QRs. Because its an early release Pokemon. It's scheduled to be officially released on Jul 15th. Should trade fine after that.

Illegal version allows you to change a pokemon to something that is knowingly illegal, such as an ability it is not supposed to have.

Thank you @Mike007899! - It looks like all 3 of the wondercards are exactly the same. So it confirms that the WC is only in Japanese text and region unlocked event.

Still inclined to believe the 3rd since many people posted images of today... But whatever, it already happened.

So I guess it's safe to say July 3, 2017 in Japan is the early screening and distribution! I'd also be cautious to those going online with the .wc7 and Marshadium Z-Crystal on their save that isn't using a Japanese 3DS until further notice.

Worlds did it too, but I assumed that was just because they didn't want to promote it after closing it off to spectators. This doesn't really make any sense at all.

I agree that it's messed up, IIRC Worlds '16 did this BS as well. With that being said, be prepared for an unexpected Pokemon distribution at Anaheim in August for Worlds '17. smh

If they ever release gen 2 I guess they'll just fix the formula, you aren't supposed to trade back anyways, so your aren't supposed to know they screwed up.

Every time I look at that game it feels like wasted potential. It's an okay game in its own right and had some interesting quirks about it, but I felt they were able to do more but they did not. A lot of the content felt lacking and could have easily be expanded on. The story was mediocre and most of the characters were bland and uninteresting. The visuals were amazing though, I will give you that. The beginning of the game up until the 3rd gym had some nice pacing. However, after that, the game went much too quickly and I was intentionally playing it slowly and realised I ended up overleveled for the Elite 4 for some reason. It could have been polished more but the entire game just screams "incomplete" or "rushed development". That's how I see it. And what do you mean "copied red and blue"? It is sad but I do not think they will ever touch on this game ever again. So remains Poke-France in mediocrity, and will always remain incomplete.
