temok
Is there any kind of list out there with good IVs/Natures PIDs? Or do I must try out random convinations of Ivs/natures every time? I'm going to go ahead and asume the isnt such a guide and then proceed to copy paste a compilation of good IV's/natures PIDs I made for myself last night. Hope I helps someone. Anyone with acces to SCV's PID creator should be able to get this PIDs, but having them compiled in a single sheet should made the process of making legit pokemon easier. BaldWombat
wait.... are you saying that there are certain PIDs for "hatched" pokemon? No, I was just wondering if I have to do anything special for hatched pokemon to make them legal as well.

BaldWombat
yes, correcting the trashbyte ^^ ...many people tend to forget this thing ^^ And adjust the hex values of 46h and 47h since I use Platinum. I just have a hard time with the fact that the PIDs and algorithms are useless for hatched pokes. It doesn't make sense to me. I feel like something has been missed, oh well. If the trash bytes and hex are the only things you have to worry about, that would mean that hatching all shiny and all 31 IVs would be legal. Of course, with enough time and practice you can do this with the RNG abuse.

TheKeyMan
....wait. you're saying you can get ANOTHER Giratina.... in.... Platinum? I mean, what you're saying is, you can get 2 from the storyline? also, while we're on this topic, how do you change your Giratina from regular forme to origin forme? no there is only one. if you happen to K.O giratina in the distortion world, you can find it again at turnback cave at lv 47 after you beat the elite 4 and become champion ---------- Post added at 06:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:09 PM ---------- i would say that it's almost impossible to get all 31 IV to get it in the game .. why??because maybe you will only got it after hatching 1 billion or maybe trillion eggs XD except you hack the parent to all 31 IV first and try to produce a "legal" one in the game XD ... then it will be possible XD .. with enough luck Lol i think thats a bit of an exaggeration. its more like millions of eggs. either way its very time consuming and requires monk like patience (having this kind of patience is easier when you actually a monk :bidoof: )

xeomyr
that could be a hack, hatched pokemon or maybe an event pokemon .. try to see it in the legality checker's readme ... for mewtwo .. i don't think that should be unknown ... .. what's the region anyway ... kanto or Colloseum/XD?? GOGAA
You forgot all the different hex values for platinum.Note that the Trash Byte Normalizer doesn't support Platinum. But, If a pokemon's 46h value is 37, Legal.exe (at time of post) does not support Platinum trash bytes, so it will not give a correct reading. Simply leave all hex values at 00 and the Trash Byte Normalizer will work, and so will legal (it will appear to have been Pal-Parked to DP and then traded to Pt) The trash byte normalizer worked with my pal park generated pokemons in Platinum. theSLAYER
Sorry for waking this thread, got a few related questions. Non event DP means non-nintendo event, aka normal gameplay, Or does it mean non in-game events, like in-game trade, dialga palkia, egg from cynthia ETC. What does ultra rare and rare gba mean? what does it relate to? Rarity in appearance like surskit and other hard to find critters? Or to nintendo in-game event like mew and deoxys? Or in-game events like groudon/kyogre/rayquaza and such? Sorry not very good with this topic.
Crystal
Thanks so much for this! So, I've been following the instructions carefully, I've made a Japanese Latias (not eon ticket but the normal roaming one). Not shiny, does this look legit? It does to me but, I guess I need somebody else opinion

Psycho K
@Honufrom the main page klik on the links in the bottom left I see Sabresite's Legality Checker there, but not his Trash Byte Normalizer. Does anyone have a link to its new location, or did I just not notice a link to it buried somewhere in that area? EDIT: I just found it. damio posted the download link on the Legality Checker forum about a week ago. Someone may want to put said link in the first post, or perhaps a link to the wiki, which also happens to have it.
