Like paf above me, these two in my Crystal save also still get flagged as illegal in the latest update even though they are not.

if anyone have a solution i'm looking for the exact same problem, I have a raichu that was captured on viridian forest on FR
once I move it from my save file of emerald to diamond it become event gift
what is weird is :
pikachu is concerved perfectly
raichu is not, even move disappear such has flash

I only did a drag and drop, for comparison here is a pokemon that did well :

I don't know how to make it not fatefull, i don't know why it does it on raichu and not pikachu

moreover when i reset its move :

 

if it was only this pokemon i wouldn't bother and take the modified move, but it's on multiple pokemon

This is because PKHeX exhausts all possible encounters and retains the last one it checked, which happens to be an event encounter.

Transferring 3->4 disallows transferring Pokémon with HM moves. In transferring 3->4, it deletes these HM moves and tries to fix the moves. However, since you have two HM moves first, it fails to shift things down.

Behavior used to work >4 years ago, but was broken in this commit: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/75202c7a89a082953ed3771bcf6d32894350cdfd

Now, with the latest commit (and future release), the reorder logic will now loop to account for multiple empty slots: https://github.com/kwsch/PKHeX/commit/ad739f1db71a2e508808e1b2f02cb193e138e6b4

I set Catch Rate to 168, ID 02000, OT STADIUM. Unknown on what its DVs should be.

Per the first post in this thread, this is only for reporting legitimate data being flagged, not manual generated data being flagged.

STADIUM gifts are not obtainable on virtual console save files.

HOME will "tarnish" all Pokémon in a save file by changing the Height to match Scale.

PKHeX has not yet updated to account for HOME's new behaviors.

my flygon is flagged as illegal because of a pid-ability error, saying that the ability is wrong even though I captured him legitimately.
when i change the ability to slot 2 the pokemon becomes legal, so i calculated the seed in rng reporter to check if it is right and the ability appeared in slot 1, so pkhex is wrong.
this didn't happen in older versions but it has been a while since I last opened this save in pkhex so I don't know in which version this started happening.

Location: Trapinch in route 111 (emerald), wild enconter at lvl 20
All Changes: i only reseted the evs in a older version, but i think it is unrelated to the problem

You must have edited it in ways besides that, because the RNG reporter shows that you have the wrong ability. In that program ability 1 means it's the second normal ability slot .So it should be "Levitate (2)", while ability 0 would actually be the first normal ability slot "Levitate (1)"

Hello, I have 3 pokemon what flagged illegal, but they are legal. All reports are from PkHex 20230511 in a UltraMoon save:

First: Shaymin with Ominous Wind is flagged illegal, but Shaymin can learn this attack in HGSS with move tutor in Sky form, and the attack still remain in both forms. Is a Flower Paradise Shaymin caught in Platinum. (Viento Aciago is Ominous Wind in spanish)

Second: A Pyroar hatched in Unknown Dungeon in Pokemon X (Mewtwo room). For some reason, this location is flagged illegal, but you hatch eggs in this zone without problem.

Third: A Alolan-Marowak evolved from a VC Cubone. A level 5 Cubone has transfered from Pokemon Silver to UltraMoon and evolved. The error is a met level, if met level is 5, is flagged illegal, but is level 6 or more, is legal.

Other VC evolved pokemon like Leafeon or Glaceon have the same error.

 

All .pk7 from 3 pokemon reported:

beyond this : all encounter type from stadium gym leader castle gift (OT STADIUM, TID 2000_) in red saves. hitmonchan for instance is flagged as mt mortar tyrogue.so when it is traded to crstal save, it is flagged as not legal pkm because of its moves. eevee  is flagged as goldenrod city gift and omnyte as just an egg pkm.

Just a remember of these  issues.I think nobody has fixed them yet.

Gen 3 roamers with IV glitch getting '' Encounter Type PID mismatch''.

Roamers whose attack IV would be changed to 7 or are at 7 are being flagged as illegal. So ones with IV of 7, 15, 23, or 31 in attack. This started in current version. 2023.5.11. Not sure if it's an error or intended this way.

Hi, I would like to report these files that are incorrectly flagged as illegal (hope that they have been raised up yet).

All of them are legally caught in SV (then got modified a bit but still legal), transfered to PLA to evolve and then came back. Just tryin' to clone some and they are illegal with many reasons.

With the new home update, i'm trying to convert a pk6 file into pk9 file, i've done it with previous games and it always worked, this time i get these legal errors. This greninja is my initial pokemon and played on an emulator, i would like to know what happens because it happens to me with all pokemon now. When the blank save version is x/y they are legal, when i try to convert them to scarlet/violet i get that. Something else is that he does not have the kalos champion ribbon either and it is illegal if i put it on too. I have to say that I have not added or removed movements, no evs, no ivs, nothing, it continues the same as in my game.

I had this legal snorlax transferred from SWSH Home to PLA then transferred back to SWSH using Pokemon Home, traded it to a sysbot so i can add a twinkling star ribbon. however when i try to trade it back to my SWSH using Sysbot on discord, It says i can't trade it because the Pk8 file is not legal, tried to remove twinkling star ribbon and Hisui ribbon, and still giving me the same error. can anyone help?

I've been doing Bank-To-Home-To-Vio transfers; I'm just throwing in the whole save file because there's four boxes of pokemon and over 50 of them are flagged. I'm not super certain everybody in here was legally caught and generated, as a disclaimer- some of these are wondertrades I got in home and this is their first time in a legality checker to confirm. Everybody with the Specs OT should be, to the best of my knowledge and ability. But hopefully this helps with some of the legality stuff!

The Scorbunny and Sobble lines should be able to be bred in SWSH with other Pokeballs now. If you had caught a Cinderace or Inteleon in the raid events in a specific ball then sent it to SWSH through Home you could breed the balls down and still have the Galar origin mark. PKHeX still labels these as illegal, however.

My Original Color Magearna legally obtained via completing the National Dex in Home is flagged as illegal. I noticed its Height/Weight/Scale are all listed as zero and that flgged it as being "improbable". Has anyone else had Pokemon not sent into Legends Arceus(either because they can't or simply weren't) have 0 in all three stats like me? This Pokemon was moved from Home to Shield after I first got it, and just moves from Shield to Home to Violet so I have no idea if this is a hiccup from Home/Violet or what.

Hi, not sure why this Kabuto is showing as illegal. I downloaded it from the in-game Downloads section on this site and loaded it onto my Green Version (that is using an English translation patch).

Hold control and see the sources of moves. Since it has Mega Drain (only accessible from Gen2), it must have been traded to Gen2. However, it has a catch rate of 45, which is the held item value when it exists in Gen2.

When you trade it to Gen2, a catch rate of '45' is translated to `83` for Bitter Berry; can't retain a value of `45` going back and forth. Therefore, the error message. 45 is not a valid Gen2 item.

Remove the move, or change the catch rate/held item value.
