  1. Huh, ok. Is there a master list of changes like this (besides having to go to GitHub and inspect things or directly on PKHeX if people are simply searching the forums first) so that users can always have the most updated commands? Or could there be a feature where the program recognizes the old command and suggests/replaces with the updated one?
  2. Am I just stupid or why isn't it working for me? I am trying to just apply it to all Pokemon (some are from eggs, most aren't). This is in Platinum. @BlackShark
  3. How do I fix trash bytes error(s) in Gen 3 (in this case Ruby Version)? I've tried multiple iterations of things like: ".OriginalTrainerTrash=$[]00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00" But it says "Modified 0/XXX files." Ok, actually weirdly enough, as I type this, after I closed that error message, it seems to have actually worked? Maybe a bug? EDIT: Actually, after it DID apply that batch command, it made all the Pokemon have "Malformed OT Name Termination" type of error....OTTrash: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 How does that get fixed? EDIT2: Adding ".OriginalTrainerName=xxx" fixed that error but now back to the 'final terminator missing' error.... EDIT3: I guess this fixed that? but then all Pokemon look suspicious with OT name Trash Bytes Zeroed. =IsNicknamed=false .NicknameTrash=$[]00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 .IsNicknamed=false
  4. Not sure if related but I am pretty sure my Gen 1 save file isn't being read correctly either? I have a U.S. copy, bought brand new back in 1998 and I'm 99% certain I didn't mess with this save file since it's extremely nostalgic for me, let alone put a different language on it, but anyway, my current English save is being read in PKHeX as the image below...And also, the Party shows as empty. Boxes have random Pokemon like this in them.

  6. Is a human-readable format anywhere or can someone tell me which each one is for? This is specifically Pokemon Red on a real cartridge.
  7. Hi. So, if I open the Encounter Database and then click on the Criteria tab and, for example, fill all IV's to 31 for all stats and click Search, does it force that encounter or does it show Pokemon actually encounter-able that could be possible in whatever game I have open? I only ask because while messing around on that tab and just seeing if all 31 results would come back for random Pokemon I was trying (specifically not from eggs), it was showing results for all 31 IV's in all stats like I set it to. For what it's worth, if it matters, this was for a Gen 3 game. I just want to make sure it isn't forcing illegal results just because I set the Criteria to them.
  8. I never had this error until I just updated my PKHeX. Previously, all showed just fine without errors. The fix is simply adding 1EXP to a Pokemon or removing all EVs. For Emerald and FR/LG, this only happens with Gen 1 Pokemon. I mentioned it a year or so ago, but I assume there's still no Batch Editor command to add X amount of EXP to a/all box/boxes? That would fix this exact thing for me right now instead of manually adding +1EXP to 151 Pokemon... EDIT: Ok, this is happening past Gen 3. Weirdly enough, the same exact Pokemon have a lot less errors in Gen 4, etc. But yeah, seems to be an issue with the Gen 1 Pokemon, as the rest are fine for every Gen past 1-3. Error is: Invalid: EVs: Individual EV without changing EXP cannot be greater than 100."

Not sure if this is normal, but I downloaded a couple of the BW1 event Pokemon from here (ex: Movie 2011 Victini and a Mewtwo): https://projectpokemon.org/home/files/category/27-english/ But when I put them into PKHeX on my B/W2 sav file, it is saying origin game as B/W2. Shouldn't the origin stay B/W1?
  12. So what does this part mean? "All encounters can be traced back to an RNG seed." Does this mean if I use EdiZon to force a shiny encounter, it wouldn't be a true shiny encounter that the game itself would generate? Same with IVs/Natures?
  13. So, I want to edit my living Dex on PKHeX; about 29 boxes of Pokemon for Sword/Shield. How exactly do I batch edit them all to get rid of the error: "Fishy: Memory: Handling Trainer Memory Missing"
  14. It's just weird, though, that even when filtered from a specific Version, it's still not giving what the user is trying to get (in this case, Mankey from Gold Version, or Meowth from Silver). And yes, because it is still trying to use the TID of Gold/Silver for a Pokemon it's forcing in from Yellow/Green. To me, this wouldn't be working as intended since the intention is to get specific Pokemon that it's filtered to get from a specific game but then still pulling from another game. Also, I'm not sure what the point of a filter is then if it still finds the stuff that was filtered through.
  15. So, I am using Encounter Database to have a Mankey on my Gold Version. Every single Mankey listed is labeled from Gold (which is good), but when I set it in a Box, it keeps showing from Yellow. Why? And so, will the game think it's actually from Gold or from Yellow? EDIT: The same is happening with Meowth. Shows from Silver, but when set, showing from Green Version.
  16. Is there a way to fix these Pokemon to generate HOME Trackers with Batch Editor? This is the only issue with all of them: Or would I have to actually put them in HOME and take them back out?
  17. Question about this. So, is this what the encounter database does in PKHeX? Is it properly using correlations that are legitimate that could be obtained in-game?
  18. I don't recall editing anything at all, let alone box data. I wanted this playthrough to be 100% genuine and I know if anything was done on PKHeX, I didn't save the changes or out it back on the SD card. Really only use it to check exact current playthrough times then I exit out. Weird. Would you be able to code an exception for Nincada/Ninjask/Shedinja to not show up on the Verify thing? If it's obtained fully legal/in-game at least EDIT 3 days later: Hey, any update? @Kaphotics
  19. On Omega Ruby, I am playing a 100% legitimate playthrough and plan to eventually 100% the game. Occasionally, I put the .sav into PKHeX to check exact playtimes and stuff as I write down my journey and what I did that day. I clciked on "Verify All PKMs" and I was very shocked to see it didn't popup with "Clean!" I checked and got this: Is this a bug or expected? I evolved my Nincada to get both Ninjask and Shedinja at the same time, as the game intends. So shouldn't the button be showing me "Clean!" I don't want to not see "Clean!" anytime I put my .sav into PKHeX now. For the Checksums, I am also getting "Invalid: 0C @ Region 04400 SAV: 57/58" for some reason now. No idea why.
  20. On Platinum, I am having a very hard time finding a save file that doesn't scream "obviously hacked" which has also at least beaten the E4. I came across a decent one, but it's a Japanese .sav file. Can I simply save that .sav to my current English copy/save? Or could I change the entire language of the game in PKHeX?
  21. Yeah, literally going to. Well, started already as of maybe 2hrs ago. I guess for Gen1/2 games, I should be doing them on DS VC, so that they could transfer up? How about Gen 3, just OR/AS?
  22. Haven't seen these before, but when I load my childhood LeafGreen cartridge in PKHeX and clicked on "Verify Checksums," I got this: Didn't really see much info on here about these things. Anyway, what would cause this?
  23. 2nd question, sorry: Is it possible to have a/all Pokemon have X more EXP while in Batch Editor? Specifically in Gen 3 at the moment. I just need to add minimal EXP to each Pokemon.
