how to use

.TrashCharCountTrainer=
.TrashCharCountNickname=

Those properties can only be used as filters; you cannot set to them because there is no setter in the source code. They're constant values based on the PKM class type.

If you are looking to clear all trash, you can do it like so (filter for a specific pattern, clear and reapply):

=OriginalTrainerName=Kurt
.OriginalTrainerTrash=$[]00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
.OriginalTrainerName=Kurt
=IsNicknamed=false
.NicknameTrash=$[]00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
.IsNicknamed=false

Unless you target specific mons with filter queries, the batch editor already target all the mons in all the boxes.

Wait, what? Anytime I've done edits, I do, for example:

=Box=1
.OriginalTrainerName=
.TID=
.SID=

And then I quickly backspace the "1," make it a "2," then press Tab or whatever to submit it and do that for every box. What I posted above does all Pokémon in one box, but I want all boxes.

=Box=1, that's a filter that targets only the first box. Remove it and your script will target all the mons.

I'm trying to recreate a save file I deleted and to make pokemon look genuine i wanna randomize their evs if their met level is different from their current level. I tried to do it with the batch editor: !MetLevel=CurrentLevel .EV_ATK=$0,25 but it doesn't work. Is there any way to do this? Thanks!

Jesus. Thank you. I tried literally all types of things similar to that, except, no doubt, that.

2nd question, sorry:

Is it possible to have a/all Pokemon have X more EXP while in Batch Editor? Specifically in Gen 3 at the moment. I just need to add minimal EXP to each Pokemon.

Hi! Does anybody know what value to edit to alter an egg's cycles? I'm trying to use pkhex-bulk-egg-generator plugin to set up an egglocke for myself. The issue(for me at least) is the plugin generates all the eggs with 1 cycle left to hatch, and I can't for the life of me figure out which variable I need to batch edit to set all the egg cycles to max (gen4).

Using the referenced plugin on how it sets 1 hatch cycle...

@theSLAYER im batch editing mons on platinum, specifically i want them to make look like theyre hatched from eggs.

the strings i used are:

.Version=Pt
.Ball=4
.MetMonth=3
.MetDay=22
.MetYear=9
.MetLevel=0
.IsEgg=False

.EggLocation=2000
.EggMonth=3
.EggDay=22
.EggYear=9

 but i dont know what string should i choose for "encountered on" field. when i manually change it as "None" to 1 mon, it became legal, but i dont know what string should i use for batch, i already searched for solutions on google, gemini and chatgpt, but i cant find the right answer, i also looked to the past comments on this thread but didnt find information about it. hope you can help me, thank you very much.

Use the drop-down inside the batch editor to see the list of properties. GroundTile

Not sure why you're using the batch editor to modify stuff; is the Encounter Database not usable?
