I don't really understand how the code works? I press select but I don't see the pokémons iv's? Do they show up in the sumary screen or tm bag or what? :bidoof:

Hi,

I don't think that is possible to bypass evolution requirement with AR codes because that are information from the ROM and not from RAM.

However there is a way to change that by hacking(change) the evolution requirements on the evolution file on the ROM (localized at a/0/3/4 - 4 is the file), but that way will only work if you play on a flashcard or on a emulator.

If you don't know how to hack(change) the evolution requirements i can make a tutorial for you or i make the changes and make a patch for you to use.

I already made this changes (My Kadabra evolves to Alakazam at Level 40 and my Schyter evolved to Scissor by level up whit Metal Coat).

The code works like this: Hold the desired button (Either Select or Start) While going into the pokemon's info page. Keep holding it and scroll to the stats page and it'll display the IVs or EVs depending on which button you're holding. Additionally, if you have more than one pokemon in your party, by still holding the button and scrolling between pokemon using the D-Pad, you can check IVs and EVs very quickly by alternating while switching. (Example: You open up and check your Pichu's IVs, scroll down while holding select to check your Crocknaw's IVs, then hold start as you scroll back up to check your Pichu's EVs and so on.)

Yeah I've seen, but I bought SS. I'm just looking for a SS Secret ID ActionReplay code and just want to know if a complete Pokesav for the Japanese versions will be out soon. Want to try and get some Pokemon to start the game off with. My game should be here in a few days so I'm trying to get ready. Thanks for the heads up, I feel like a should have bought HG now but I'm going to buy it when it comes out in the US, I figured to buy the other in Japanese, didn't want two of the same game.
