FLOOTENKERP
Amazing footage. The graphics are so improved, and the fact that it is being played on a DSi in the video tells me this game will have DSi exclusive features.

Poryhack
Those 3D intros are incredible, I wouldn't even have though the DS was capable of that based on other games I've seen. Amazing footage. The graphics are so improved, and the fact that it is being played on a DSi in the video tells me this game will have DSi exclusive features. Yeah, like they're not gonna do it on DSi regardless... If they were smart, and they are, they would always use their most recent system in ads. So this really doesn't tell you anything at all.
FLOOTENKERP
Well, if this has GBA slot features, it would be confusing to show footage of it being played on a DSi. They could be misleading the public that way. Even the commercial with Mario Kart shows it being played on both DSL and DSi, so it voids any confusion of it being restricted to features of any kind of console. So playin it on footage of it being played on just a DSi might be an indication to restricted features.
Umbreon
I'm thinking restricted features for sure. I wonder if the lite can do video this well. The crazy thing is, I bet the lite being able to play all the old gba pokemon games is what has kept the series so popular. Now with the dsi you can't play those. d4rk_13l1t2er
I'm loving this.. Can anyone from the forum help me pre-order in Japan? Coz i doubt i will get the figures if i did it on some import websites.. (Current location: Singapore)
Poke J
Amazing footage. The graphics are so improved, and the fact that it is being played on a DSi in the video tells me this game will have DSi exclusive features. They can't just make it for the DSi due to the fact not every one has one so not just makeing it for the DSi will keepp there sales up and that is all they realy want. But they may give the games a few DSi features.
Klaatu
And those features would be? A closed Palpark for DSi's amazing improvement in not having a GBA slot?
theSLAYER
HEY I live in singapore TOO!! Well the new game is awesome, and actually once it's released, We'll be able to go to the higher-end game shops to buy it, As for some reason Singapore does import Japanese games, esp pokemon. I managed to get hold of the japanese pearl and perform the infamous surfing glitch once people playing the roms went gaga over it. Honestly I believe there will be a Pal Park; it feels like a "4th gen must have thing", While there might be features exclusive to DSi for the trade off of the GBA slot; It's just speculation. 2 months and 8 more days to go! OOT: Hi fellow Singaporean ... But i'm not a singaporean, i'm only here for study... Anyway back to the topic, i know some game stores will import them, but i'm pretty sure that they won't have the Ho-oh/Lugia/Arceus figure included, because they will do the normal import, not pre-order... And even if we pre-order them from web like play-asia, will they be able to include the pokefigures? Can anyone confirm these? I'm planning to buy a Soul Silver Japanese, and will be waiting for english Heart Gold (though i doubt this one will have the figure included), i just can't do the pre-order thingy directly TT... Gold88
Wow! This clip have incredibly suprised me. I think an improved graphic is under the eyes of everyone. I have only one doubt about the DSi facts. Since i'd like to buy the English Version of this game and the italian DSi, i'm worried about some locked region problem .
Draconic_Renegade
Oi, well, I wonder if they'll keep the animated trainer sprites from Platinum, they made no showing of trainers at all during the vid so, yeah...they might, probably even make all trainers animated, that's a hope, though the 3D Lugia and Ho-oh look strangely better than they did in the console games, I don't know why, they just did. theSLAYER
It's a DS game, folks. Apparently DS games, can be played on DS and DS lite, Hence being called a "DS game", right Personally, I only have the big ancient DS, not a DSlite or DSi.
