The website has been slightly revamped, but no new information or trailer has been released. However, new merchandise has been unveiled, including a set of keychains.</p><p>Three of the keychains, as depicted in the image to the right, are silhouettes of three Pokémon covered by a question mark. There is no indication at to what the mystery Pokémon may be, but it has many fans speculating that they are going to introduce three new Pokémon in the movie.</p><p>Thanks for reading. Because it's Pokemon, and they've done this before in the past. They love to whore out the series mascot and the mascot of whatever movie is out at the time. You are probably right about them showcasing the Jagged-Eared evolutions, but I'm not going far enough out on that limb to say that just yet, simply because the parts of the ears we can see look normal as of right now. Illithian Posted June 28, 2009 Share Posted June 28, 2009 Yeah, it makes sense that Pikachu and Raichu would have notched ear forms, but notched ear doesn't fit into those keychain positions; look at Dante's drawing, both ears are showing for the Pikachu and Raichu. Nintendo would make it obvious that it was a notched ear form on a keychain, so I highly doubt its any of the three pokemon you stated. We'll find out. On another note, has anyone pre-ordered them? They put the jagged ear pichu into a question mark and everyone thought it was a new pokemon. So I dout they are going to be new pokemon. I think they are just arcues, pikachu, and the third one i think could be raichu darkrai sky shaymin or a realy messed up heatran. Guested has already stated that the best translation is "Jagged". Leave the bad translations to Serebii. Anyways, I think one of these will be Arceus, but with a new form. It wouldn't make sense to use the same Pokemon twice, so why not give them new forms? I will so be importing these items. They look so awesome. Its not like Guested lives in japan or anything >.> Anyway, it could be possible that they are JAGGED eared versions of Pikachu and Raichu. I hope so, since a Pichu is otherwise useless even with a good move set. I would want to evolve mine and I would be very upset to find out it evolves into a normal Pikachu. Also after the trailer, thers profiles on Arceus, Giratina, Palkia and Dialga. And when you hove over them, Arceus say something in japanese but finsihes it sentence with pikachu. Why would they hide Pokemon that are already well known? Revealing one or three Pokemon before a full new generation revelation has become a bit of a habit for Nintendo. DanteKoriyu Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 Adding in the Jagged-Ear Pichu in the second one with Pikachu makes a lot more sense, as I was having a hard time thinking of how Pikachu would fill that odd pose all by himself. I can totally see the poses they take in it now. The final Arceus one on the right (One thal looked like a Raichu to me. lol) makes more sense pose wise as well, but while I was expecting multiple of Arceus, 3 of 'em was more than I was thinking they'd go with. I think it more likely new pokemon would be released during the film/anime series that immediately precedes a new generation, in this case the HGSS film(s)/anime if they get made. This pattern goes back to Lugia in the 2nd movie (last movie before release of generation II), Latias and Latios in the 5th movie (last movie before geneartion III), and Lucario and Manaphy in the last two movies of generation III. I like the idea of different Arceus formes. Discovering a room in the game where Arceus can change forme could be the story behind the screenshots of the player with Arceus and Cynthia.
