Thanks twisted, I like the sleek new interface! But it's so full of bugs that it's practically unuseable (I can't even edit anything without getting an error). :(

I'll put a image of the errors:

Also when I close the program and open it again, I can't even edit anything. It says the ROM/Narc is being used by another program (this program) even though I already closed it.

Is anyone else getting these errors or is it just me?

Anyways, it's a great program, it just needs debugging.

Well, the program use the following code i think:

Main Form(First Form) (......) click

Me.Hide()

Form2.Show

The program hide itself the main form, but is'nt closed at all, so you need to stop the program using Task manager.

1. you just log off / restart you computer, because net framework process is stopped working, and GDI+ is not loaded correctly, if not work see no 2

2. reinstall you net framework.

3. is maybe fail on drawing process, yeah xD

4. this program need GDI+, is must installed on you XP, if not yeah you must installed first... or copy GDI+ dll on folder.

in my win 7, is just working great than older, but is still missing (maybe is not important), and sometime is not saving or if i click save it will error...

twistfatal i have question:

1. for moveset editor, is include eggmove/move tutor too?

2. moveset is have 4 byte per move, 0x00-0x01 is move ID, 0x02 is level and last byte is for what? in togekiss/minchino is have byte 20 / ... (i forgot)... it will editable in you tools?

3. on pokemon stat editor is final version? you can added some function to able to edit some byte on pokemon stat data like flaq byte for spinda/trapich "30,60,90...", alternative form link flag (on stat narc data for alternative form stat like shaymin -> sky form shaymin), alternative form flag and ect, evolution tree, how many alternative form and ect? yeah maybe is not important ...

4. wild pokemon, is delayed or aborted? since netalzero was create one...? is can editable swarming pokemon? :D (i have data but is need test, but i no have time test both version :/)

5. trade in game, please fix that tools, but i was edit via HEX....

6. i was got attack editor copy in somewhere, and i was download that tools befor you delete link, yeah is plenty bug on tools, yeah but i not interesting on attack since it will can't used on online~

yeah i waiting moveset editor , in my test via HEX editor is working to expand togekiss moveset :)

1. yes check first post spoiler under moveset editor

2. i dunno what the last byte is for i tend to ignore since it doesnt effect anything

3. it is final version but i can add stuff to it if people wanna request stuff

4. the wild editor is delayed for the time being but i will finish it to make my toolbox more complete. basicaly i will still be making my own version of tools that have already been released

5. what wrong with the ingame trade editor ?

6. it will be finished after the moveset editor is finished and i know how to give all pokes 22 attacks ^_^ so u can expect this when the tool is released

Well thats weird when i captured that screen shot it was showing all the data for carracosta...

EDIT: I just realized you took that image with your machine, not using a direct quote.

in moveset pokemon, i just wondering about last byte, because not all pokemon have that byte, i was found on some pokemon like minchino, togekiss, ditto, ect legendary pokemon...........

20 = 32 = 10 00 00 i don't know this mean ... maybe some secret on moveset? xD

2. twistfatal was support please used narc, is not problem for me.

3. if not, you must used narc file~.

4. A screenshot?

this error appear if before using twistfatal you modified some file before pokemon data/anything, or using netalzero on ROM method/another twistfatal tools~, remember netalzero have bug on he tools sometime is added a few byte...

the best is manual editing if twistfatal give error in some pokemon, since is have many padding data~

Well Andi(can i tell you so? Sounds funny)the narc in a rom patched can be modified in TwistedFatal Tools, because the some patches doesn't affect narcs.

However, the program does not give me errors...both Nds mode and Narc mode.

wkwkwkwk yeah is no problem on my ROM (some small hacked, just change variable and not change sprite/data before narc), but problem in my mod ROM(v2.1 full hacked is problem since i used free space for sprite and data), i know programming work, but i not have skill to create that :/, twistfatal tools is working on hex offset, same as adding a new moveset it will change hexoffset, this problem if narc location will change except is using someone source code for handle narc location hex offset :/, i no have problem these tools, also i was can change it without tools sorry XDD sorry my bad english, or my explaination ,maybe is not same condition or anything, after i see, most is using win XP? maybe on You OS? i was using win 7 sp 1, is working all but i still using hex editor since twistfatal won't added some feature ....

yeah i was starting my mod to v3, all change xD sprite, data, event (experiment), swarming, wild (for speed i using tools), base stat pokemon (some using twistfatal tools and some hex editor), moveset(done with Hex Editor), and ect. sprite i was handle all type so is not problem for me~

so twistfatal tools is helpfull for me to finding narc location, help me more speed on editing ROM :), and thank you very much for response twistfatal :) is make me happy to share my data if is ready to share public. for now i just waiting moveset editor~ i hope twistfatal create item editor too so i can set easy price, effect and ect.......

is just you only? i working to edit and read it ... i don't know...

solution :

1.if some pokemon not working and another is working, you can PM twistfatal with detail if you want used that tools, don't say error on "..." pokemon, is not helping twistfatal to improve he tools without detail...

2. if you understand edit via HEX is helpful if twistfatal tools is given error in some pokemon~ yeah i not worried edit via HEX editor.... :)

3. waiting a new release from twistfatal... if you cannot edit via HEX editor~

I don't think my tool can cause any damage beyond the wild Pokemon encounter narc, as it won't change the size of the narc in the Rom; it only edit the a/1/2/6 narc located inside the Rom.

Up till today, the only tools that can change the location of the narcs inside a Rom is the trainer editor, since as I explained in my thread, the size of the a/0/9/3 narc change according to the number of the Pokemon you set for each trainer. When the size of a/0/9/3 change, some of the narc offset inside the Rom (those numbered after it, such as a/0/9/4) will also change. This will give problem if the tool that read the Rom read the narc using a fixed offset.

Regarding the error message posted by aninymouse, the only fix will be from the author of the tool himself, as he's the only one who has the source code for the tool. What I think is the error occur due to the conversion of null string into byte, but yeah, that's just what I thought, so might not be the case.

hm, i think maybe is on a/0/0/2 and a/0/03 is containing some text, yeah is my problem (but now was solved) for my mod ROM in this narc, yeah i was change all text on these file~ 2 MB > 4 MB ect so is used more byte. I remember for japanese version is have more than 4 MB, korean is just more small than US version :v but i wondering, netalzero was solved that, because i using netalzero tools, i used Korean ROM, japanese ROM, US ROM is working :v but i pick a safe choice is i always using narc or manual editing ...........

if ROM is fine, or Source code/tools twistfatal/netalzero/PPTXT (i thing is best one, and stable in my test is working, i just get error on zekrom on v1 release~) is fine, maybe you machine is make error (hardware or something cause these error) or you OS (yeah is OOT)? well ... i don't know i not get that error so sorry i can't help :/ if i have wrong i say sorry... because my theory is totally wrong ...

Just so you know, I was editing in narc mode. The rom I took it from was clean, and the narc I've been editing had never been touched before by any version of Stats Editor, at all. The strange thing was, I got this error message about two or three times in a row (which forced me to close the program each time), but then... it was fine. I tried editing from Bulbasaur on down to like... Slowbro, I think? And I didn't have any more errors. Viewing Regice & Regirock also was fine, whereas even looking at Regice before gave me an error. Beats me how it got fixed...

Out of curiosity, how much longer do you think the moveset editor will take, at least to release the function that allows you to just edit the level up moves (if you're willing to release a shortened version without the extra functions to begin with, unless you've done the other stuff already)?

Just wanna know if I can save myself hours of hex inserting and editing. :x

yeah is take an hour :v but twistfatal is not edit all :/ so i always using hex editor for solve some byte i want to change it, kazo no update he tools for alternative form so i always added manual for these alternative form ...

for moveset on my togekiss, is my wrong , after i checked again on clean ROM, on 4th byte is 00 and not 20 xD maybe i was edit in some reason i was forgot xD
