I dont know if someone else asked this before, but im having this issue when patching the hack into Maniac Emu on my iphone. Its always saying its "not implemented: secondary decompressor". I tried many different roms also those with no extra names. Does it have to be a specific Rom from somewhere?

Thanks for the responses! Right, Camaraderie is -that- limited, fair enough. I only got it via googling porygon2 passwords because I was frustrated by the shiny recruit failure, a consequence of the recruit chances not being obvious (which is fine). As for the shiny recruits, yeah it was either gonna be similar to the non-shiny, similar to legendaries (-10%), or similar to kecleon (must be literally capped in recruit rate). It's the latter and I've wasted a couple of days then but, so be it. I regret not starting with Recruit Em All, which is why I was hoping I could enable it midway through a save. This is only really because it's impossible to know recruit chances of pokemon, which is how I ended up with the shiny grind even though it was 0% odds, but I'm glad you answered that (and that that recruit item exists). Thank you. As for the Manectric... range moves don't help unless they're room-wide, right? You start off at an L shape to all enemies and they close the distance into 1 tile range from there, you can't actually hit them from the initial position with linear moves. Room-wide ones though, I guess if you're lucky enough to run into them in the kecleon shop? Or you expect me to not do the main story until I roll roomwide TMs in the shop? It's fine, just I guess I underestimated the difficulty and it's about figuring out your expectations for how I play. Especially because my starters are H sneasel and A vulpix, which I think leaves my only option blizzard? Perhaps you expect me to bring in two more fully trained pokemon (I've just been proceeding with my starters and a stack of reviver seeds), again it's just a matter of me figuring out your expectations, and how much it's a 'difficulty hack' or not. I don't understand how they could not one shot though, given that they get at minimum 3 howls a turn with there being so many of them. They're capped out in attack almost immediately. I'm much beyond that now but, this was by far the biggest hurdle I've come across. Really enjoying it by the way, I think it's just a matter of me setting my expectations to match what you think a player should be doing. Thanks for the info.

Camaraderie available for you at this point is an unintended bug. It's only available for Mew. No Recruit 'em All switch available, otherwise what would be the point to self-impose a challenge? It's designed for speedrunning recruits and nothing else. An item granting 100% recruitment exists much later in the game. Shiny Buneary has a 1/256 chance of being recruited if you are level 100 with a Type-recruiting item. That's part of the Shiny feature and it's more of an endgame endeavor to recruit Shinies. Amp Plains Manectric having Howl has been perfectly balanced for everyone for years and never one-shotted anyone for years too so I wonder how you ended up thinking it was unfair... by this point you have range moves, access to strong TM indefinitely and a larger array of options. It's not designed to be bruteforced.

Hey, just a few questions. Who can actually learn Camaraderie? I've got the TM and 100+ recruits but it seems not one pokemon can learn it? Is it possible to turn on Recruit Em All without restarting the entire game? Edit: I've looked at the challenge options through the L menu but Recruit Em All is missing, most (maybe all) others I can activate, but not this one. Also, the way Recruit Em All is worded is a tad confusing- if I recruit say Wurmple then evolve it to Cascoon, is Wurmple recruitable again as I don't currently have one? I believe that's how it works but confirmation would be great, thanks. I'm currently 140 kills on Shiny Buneary with Friend Bow on and I've never recruited it once- I suspect the odds are 0% or negative right now. And this is frustrating me no end. Overall I've realized that recruit rates as a whole are going to be impossible to find for this game, so I'd like to take advantage of Camaraderie or Recruit Em All to fix this, but I don't want to start again. On a side note, balance so far has been mostly great and I'm loving the romhack- but I think it's really, really unfair giving the Manectrics in the Amp Plains boss fight access to Howl. The entire team will permanently oneshot mine due to howl spam, it just felt deeply unfair. Otherwise, zero real problems with it, amazing hack.

Thank you so much for making this hack! It was a great way to play PMD for the first time and the QOL is amazing. I think I found a bug on the latest update, Special Episode 4 (Here Comes Team Charm) freezes (at least for me) on the Aggron fight. Also, it says that it should be possible to go straight to Temporal Tower after defeating Dialgia, but I can’t figure out how to do that— It’s not appearing on the map and if there’s an NPC that takes you there I can’t find it. (If it helps, I’ve recruited Dialgia and completed everything but the Zacian quest line.) Thanks so much!

Hello again, 2 other bugs I found. 1. When having the same pokemon as protagonists, whenever 1 gets an iq skill it works for the other even if it doesnt have it. I started a playthrough with 2 charcadets and when 1 got Brick Tough I saw both had +10 hp. 2. I finished Giratina quest after se5 & having marine resort unlocked because I wanted the Mega item. Right now Giratina says I dont need any Time Cogs but can trade for them, but whenever I bring Giratina time cogs it says you dont have any while consuming them from my inventory and not giving me any rewards back. I think you replied in a thread that this was one way of getting the mega evo item. Thanks!

If both of your partners are able to, can they both be mega evolved? Do they need to hold the mega stone before changing form and can you get multiple mega stones?

According to Bulbapedia, there are 9 extra tracks in the Music Paradise (jukebox/sound test) that are hidden and can't be obtained by any means. Is there anything hacking can do to un-hide these so they show up with the rest of the music?

replace the old patched rom with the new one. as long as it's in the same place with the same name, the save will be usable. alternatively, some emulators let you directly import a save file from an older version also, latest bugfixes are live!

Hello, I'm not sure if I did something wrong or if it's working as intended (in which case, can you tell me why, please), but I noticed flags for the Blue (Champion and Rematch) battles are not checked in PKHeX, happens both in fire red and leaf green. Work fine for all others Blue battles. In case you ask, yes I sure did them at least once as I beat the elite four 200 times (manually, it was so long...) to get the stickers on trainer card.

Theres an issue with shiny Riolu’s idle during cutscenes. Riolu is mainly stuck on the wrong part of the idle the whole time
