Hello, First off, thank you so much for your program! I know the work you do is very hard, but everyone is extremely appreciative of it. Thank you so much. This is a suggestion for a new feature that you could add into the Mystery Gift Database Search (Of course, only if you want to) I was wondering if you think it would be possible to add in a "Region" search into the Mystery Gift Database? So, for example, a person could search for only Mystery Gifts released in North America, or EU, or Japan, etc. For all of the different regions where they have released mystery gifts. This would be incredibly helpful if you decide to do it. I would be very grateful, but of couse if you dont, thats totally fine Thanks!

Hello. I've never had problems with Pkhex till now. So I went to download the new update and when I went to run Pkhex, I keep getting this. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hello, I transferred my Raichu from Alpha Sapphire with Pokemon Bank and its Egg Moves keep getting flagged even though they are certainly legit (I bred it myself). At first, I thought it was a problem exclusively with Raichu, but I made a Marowak to test it and it had the same problem. The flags disappear when I turn them to their respective Alolan Forms. I am using a PKHex build made a few hours ago, but the same happens with the latest officially released build too.

Hi all. Pkhex is working for me. But, when I gen certain ultra beasts kartana and pheromosa (I have genned Nihilego and it worked) I cannot now make them legal to matter what. It always tells me "unknown encounter" when i check legality and they can't be used in game. They are defenitely legal looking and their location and everything is all fine, but it always says unknown encounter. What may be causing this? Someone help

Does anyone know what Trash Byte values correlate to? My pokemon's extra byte values seem to vary between 0, 16 and 17 and I am unable to figure out why. All of my fully EV/IV trained pokemon seem to have extra byte values of 17_, with those having just been bred / caught having extra byte values of 0. Those with max EVs (252) in a single stat appear to have extra byte values of 16. However, I recently fully EV trained a lycanrock (completely legitimate, unaltered by PKHEX) which seems to have an extra byte value of 16_. Could anyone explain this in further detail to me? Many thanks.

Hello everyone, I've been using PkHex for a while now, but with the new Pokebank Update that came out, I seem to be running into a problem. I have a Zekrom with me that is legal on all aspects except for this Invalid Geolocation Memories tick. Could anyone explain to me what I am doing wrong, or what I need to do to fix this error? I tried clearing the Geolocation memories in the memories tab, but as soon as I go to check the legality, it says the same error and puts back the Geolocation credentials. Below I have a few screenshots outlining my issue. Thanks in Advance

Hello, first time submitting here. As you know, the Pokémon Bank update was released yesterday, and I became curious about the events I had in my AS game. I made some legality checks on the recent PKHeX, and something caught my attention. I know that the program will get an update too due to yesterday news, given the fact that right now it doesn't recognize Gen. VI transfered Pokémon as "Legal!". So, logically, I let that invalid statement "No official transfer method is possible prior to Bank Release." pass, and checked other legal invalid statements on my events. Of all the event Pokémon I had, there was only one event that apart from that statement got 2 other invalid statements, saying: "Unable to match to a Mystery Gift in the database." and "Expected No Relearn Moves.". It turned out to be the 20th Anniversary Event of Meloetta, which was released over a month ago. I will leave some printscreens for you to check this issue, and would like to check any irregularities, just as TID, SID and Relearn moves. I downloaded the WC6 File's event from the Pokedit Forums and compared it to the event I recieved in-game, which had similar characteristics. Also, as I was checking the forums here I found that there is not a WC file of this particular event, so my other question was if the event was registered in the program's database. Finally, as a PKHeX user, I thank you for your effort of this program, as well for the legality checker. It really helps a lot. Godspeed and thanks for any help. ... PS: My own Meloetta has Psychic, Hyper Voice, Focus Blast and Dazzling Gleam and has 6IV's, as only differences in comparison to the WC6 file on Pokedit, which you can find it here: https://www.pokedit.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=135&t=14530&sid=69b6661bbd24ee0e86eb89b75181cb94&start=70

I tried using the TLW save manager to backup a save, gen pokemon, then restore it. I did this twice, on two different games (black, white2). When i opened both after restoring, they would load in but only with a black screen nothing else. Im not changing the name of the save at all. I believe im doing everything required, as I've been told by another genner. Any ideas? If you dont have a clue why thats happening, what do you suggest i get so that I can gen in Generation 5 games via pkhex?

I'll try and be short and to the point, I used pkhex to gen a team that I was theory crafting and wanted to test all were showing as legal, when I imported the save game launches with a file is corrupted message and tells me to go to my home screen. I'm using Soundhax for homebrew on a new 3ds XL region US the save manager I used is JKSM and if i try to load the save in PKhex now it gives the following wall of text error message Exception Details: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Index was out of range. First of all to the mods, I apologize in advance for posting in the wrong forums. I am such a n00b when it comes to pkhex editing and I assumed i posted in the correct section. I found this section and i believe this is where i need to be. So please close out the other two threads i made since they are not supposed to be in those threads. once again i apologize for the mess i made Now i really need some help. I am trying to accomplish to main goals, edit the met location/encounter display in each pokemon. I know i can change it per pokemon, but dont want to go through 700+ pokemon lol In the batch editor i see two options Met_Location & Encounter? Which one is the correct one? Also what value do i put for it to reflect to all pokemon daycare center? Is there a list that reference all these locations for the mass editor? Second one is to make all pokemon in boxes shiny The original threads created for these two questions as follows: I originally had a mega form question but ill just assign the megastone to each pokemon instead. Any help would be much appreciated, again sorry for the confusion and posting into the wrong forums.

I'm just wondering so I don't have any problems with my game. Can you bring illegal Pokemon into the Battle Tree or Battle Royal? e.g. Shedinja w/ Sturdy, Alolan Muk w/ Air Balloon + Wonder Guard.

Hi everyone I'm the newest here, I just joined the community. I'd like to use pkhex to make pkmns that I'll use for competitive wi-fi battle. I have the latest version pkhex. I have a few questions. 1. Does pkhex work for pkmn Sun? 2. With what types of device is pkhex compatible? (ex: 3ds, 2ds, 3ds LL etc...) 3. If you guys know a good tutorial of the usage of pkhex on a physical pkmn Sun chip, please give me the link. Thanks for anyone answering these questions. (And I'm not sure if I'm on the right forum (save editing help)?)

Edit: For those that might find this post in the future experiencing the same problem the solution is this: Simply battle wild pokemon until you are able to initiate Pokemon Refresh from within the end-battle screens. The Refresh UI will not show at first - just touch the screen. From now on accessing Refresh from the menu will no longer crash the game. Newly Homebrewed my DS since browserhax and menuhax was patched to use PKHEX for the first time ever. I exported the save with JK, added a team of 6 pokemon to empty box spaces. All passed legality checks. I also added 100 full restores, 30 rare candies, and 400 figy berries. After importing the save the game now crashes when starting Pokemon Refresh. When hitting the button a party pokemon appears in the refrsh screen with their back turned to you. No menu appears and you cant click or swipe anything. Must soft reset or power down to get out. The problem persists even after reverting to my original untouched backup save file. Any ideas?

It says that in this post, that using PKHeX, we can transfer pokemon from old versions to gen 6. Can I transfer directly from 3 then going to 6 without having problems in legality? or i need to do steps 3->4->5->6? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: So now I confirmed that I can directly transfer by skipping other gens. But I think I encountered a possible bug? Generation 3 to 6 As we can see here, there is no egg met condition given, is this okay? (Ninjask was hatched from egg) Generation 4 to 6 Here I think worked alright, because the egg met conditions were retained and the met location was properly set as Poke Transfer. Generation 5 to 6 In the two images above, we can see that the Met info was just copied and not modified. PS: The pokemons shown are not Pokegened nor PKHeXed, they are all RNGed.

I received this error and would like some help. May have something to do with my start of adventure date. When I hacked my 3ds it was formatted to the incorrect date (4/20/1997 blaze it). I failed to realize it was incorrect, but it was too late. Is there a fix for this? I just want access to all clothes (female) is there an alternative? Thanks
