Is there any way PKHex can do for Gen 7 Ultra Wormhole?
theSLAYER replied to PKHex_User's topic in ROM - 3DS ROM Hacks
So let's say you want Ho-Oh for example. 1. Make sure the coordinates are for the Red Wormhole 2. Make sure you unset Flag 4 (not the species number. Literally flag number 4) 3. Make sure you set the other numbers 1 through 15, except 4. If you're still having difficulties, I don't how else to explain it. -
Oh, thought it did, as it was introduced in Gen 7. Thanks for the info

Oh, I thought it popped up after you loaded the save. Please check this page:

Oh wow I must try that too. Thank you!

Oh sorry. I will be clear here lol My process: after when I put the Mew on the box, -> File -> Export Save -> Export main -> Replaced the previous file, copied on JKSV and replaced -> Back to my switch -> Album -> JKSV -> Search Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu -> Overwrite the save game -> Turned on the game and is the same I don't know what is wrong...

i know the nds hacking scene is greater restrained compared to gba but i would like to attempt out the satisfactory hacks there's. i recognise drayano does some first-rate ones but what else speed test is there? i am ideally search showbox ing out hacks with gameplay adjustments, new sprites and so on no longer simply oh it is more difficult than the unique. whatever of excellent i would like to hear about though. preferably completed but something with promise will do. many thank you.

Pokemon Go legality Issues. Help would be appreciated.
Charblee replied to Charblee's topic in Saves - Editing Help
@theSLAYER Oh wow. Thank you so much. I didn't know any of this. I really appreciate the help! I'll try your suggestions and report back! @theSLAYER OMG it worked. Thank you so much! -

Oh well... Guess some things are forever out of our reach for us humans... I just wanted the best for my female Feraligtr that followed me ever since I was 6... And also save all pokémons in those variations in files to keep to customize any save, but more importantly the Feraligatr that was always there for me and made Whitney a walk in the park. But now I really am curious about the inner workings of the Gen 2 games, because I'm pretty sure there's no in-game legality check, but is there really an in-game correction to make any pokémon with max DVs a Normal-Male? Either way, thank you for the help!

Recover Pokémon Patinum Version save (Spanish version)
Lt. Lynx replied to Lt. Lynx's topic in Saves - Editing Help
Oh, I get it. Yeah, I got the trial and error thing. I have to think about that. Welp, that would be a better chance of revisiting Sinnoh than the remakes IMO. -
Raising the DexNev Level Artifically?
Heroice18 replied to Heroice18's topic in Saves - Editing Help
Oh I see what I did wrong. I thought I could set it without importing a save first. Now that I imported the save, I was able to set it to 999 -

Having an Issuse with changing Pokemon's Memory.

ok, i'm not sure what you're both saying, @Kaphotics and @theSLAYER. the ho-oh i was creating had 4 perfect IVs. every time i tried to say ability 1,it got mad at me. the dynamax level was maxed out. i'm not trying to fudge data, all i did was change the OT, and the moves. everything else, i literally got from looking at how official legendary pokemon are met in the max lair. i'm happy to admit when i'm wrong and when i need to learn more stuff, but i get the feeling you're both expecting that i don't know shit about anything and not really even looking at what i'm talking about. i mentioned encryption constant because when i changed THAT, was when the legal mon i had from the database, became illegal. so that was my impression. also, i have to say, i get that you guys don't think anyone that starts out doing this and isn't 5 star A+ at it right away shouldn't be making their own mon, but that's not gonna deter me from LEARNING how. i'm sorry that C# isn't my main language, as i'm a web developer. all i'm interested in knowing, is why even after i follow all directions, it only works when i get the mon from the database. i'm not shitting on your app, i think it's fishing amazing and thank you so much for doing it. i know how flipping hard this shit is. thanks for your replies

I don't know why you mentioned Encryption constant, when that's not the issue with this Ho-Oh. a) Mons obtained from Max Lair have a certain Dynamax level. Just max it out. b) Max Lair legendaries have a minimum of 4 Perfect IVs, so just max one IV out. You can choose it at random. c) For Max Lair Legendary, abiltiy is 1. Also as Kaphotics said, the PID/IVs/EC/HT/WT are correlated, however not checked by PKHeX at the moment. So it appears legal, but ain't legal. I don't think there's a tool that acts like RNGReporter and gives correlated stats for Max Lair mons yet.

@theSLAYER ok thanks, that makes sense on the Swablu, thanks for the help on that. as i mentioned, i had made a few legal mons, i guess i just messed it up for this one. to be honest, i was trying to make a shiny kartana, and i had all the details right, i think? i wasn’t meeting it as an egg or anything. i had my sid and pid right, i had Xor set to 1, the level that Kartana is encountered at i know is 70, and in the Max Lair. i didn’t have ribbons or memories. met in sword. it was all right. i got it to work by inserting a kartana from the database. which definitely means i was doing something wrong. i wanna know what it was i was doing wrong, and why, with all the details that i had before (which the app considered illegal) the SAME, it only worked when i imported it from the database. i can provide screenshots of that, also, if needed edit: i just tried to make a ho-oh and the same thing is happening. here's the screenshots: edit: i went ahead and just grabbed a ho-oh from the database, and it works fine, but again, only thing that's different are the moves. i think it's the encryption constant that messes up my ho-oh? edit: i swapped the met locations with swablu as you suggested, but still encountering the same issue. again, i think it's to do with not knowing how to reroll encryption constants...

After the next stable release (or if you use the current development build), all Colosseum Ho-Oh will correctly no longer appear with the fateful encounter flag.

EVENT INJECTED IN A VERSION THAT DOESN'T CORRESPOND
DaseR replied to DaseR's topic in Saves - Editing Help
Oh sorry my bad, i have changed the font color so that anyone can read it Ok, now I understand more how it works, I only have 3 questions left: 1-Is the data of the events downloaded from this page 100% official or are they a simulation of the original? 2-Assuming that in my original cartridge, it automatically changes Region / Subregion / Country, (as it does in the CITRA emulator) if I modify it manually in PkHex to add mine that corresponds, would it change anything in terms of legality? 3-Is it better to use the event files / WonderCards uploaded on this page and inject them with PKHex or emulate the ROMS of the events (supposedly official) on a flash card so as not to touch the saved game of the original cartridge? [In order not to give information from other sources, I am attaching an image of some that I have downloaded] If the mission is to generate the legal pokemon in the game, what option do you recommend me to do? Thanks again for your time -
@ozderya I know it's a bit late, but based on recent findings across the community, it appears they found the source of the issue. All Ho-Oh from Colosseum, that is *still in Colosseum/Pokemon in Colosseum format* (like yours) will have the Fateful Encounter flag checked. This appears to be a mistake related to the Fateful Encounter flag being incorrect documented for Colosseum. Additionally, if you trade your Ho-Oh out from Colosseum to a GBA game normally, then proceed to use PKHeX to check the GBA Gen 3 save, it would not have the Fateful Encounter flagged. Just keeping you updated :3

oh. So then should I make any changes at all? Like should I add a residence for each game from gen 6-7 or just add one residence for each gen?
