3. Some information that wasn't given... which I JUST found out now (don't blame me, I live under a rock). Each of them have new moves... Dialga getting Metal Burst, Palkia getting Hydro Pump and Giratina getting Shadow Sneak. Although Ubers battling is rare in Wifi, competitively Giratina got the better deal among the three. Dialga with Metal Burst... meh, it never needed Metal Burst. Sure it can be awesome when it took a Fighting or Ground move, but neither of the two are common in Ubers. Hydro Pump on Palkia... what can Hydro Pump KO that Surf already can't? Palkia is usually used with rain support from Kyogre anyways... not to mention Surf from Palkia is just as potent as Kyogre's. Sometimes Palkia can't afford to miss. Hydro Pump is a good addition, but just isn't too helpful. Now Giratina on the other hand... with Shadow Sneak, it can take down a faster Pokemon in this Psychic infested Uber metagame... revenge killing weakened Pokemon along with STAB. It really helps Giratina out because it isn't so fast compared to the other ubers. So competitively, Giratina got something to give it an advantage. However, I think people here are voting here out of personal preferences... so blah. Maybe they just like that ghostly basilisk. It's all subjective. I like all three of them

 7. (Wraith89 vs Lucky) Shoddy Warstory That fishy Kyogre is SOOOOOOOOOOO strong!! Or is it? I was testing out something which I didn't think would have ended up so well... but it did o_O Rules: Evasion Clause, Extended Game, Freeze Clause, OHKO Clause, Sleep Clause Pokemon: (In order of appearance) Wraith89 Lucky
 8. I thought it'd be an Umbreon fanboy thread because everyone I know seems to like Umbreon And for the record, I picked Vaporeon... I like shiny Flareon... it looks so similar to Eevee. In fact, Flareon looks the most similar to Eevee out of all the Eeveelutions.
 9. Let's not troll here guys. While I did put up troll options... I think you ought to state which of the two you prefer But I'm surprised. I didn't think Victreebel would be beating Vileplume
 10. Ouch! What a way to end a baton pass chain. Nice battle fox
 11.

Hey, happy birthday!

 12. Well, the funny thing is, Flareon, while considered the weakest of the Eeveelutions thanks to its limited movepool and typing, it is able to take down most of the other Eeveelutions one on one (Jolteon's got nothing against Flareon, really...). I've even managed to outstall Vaporeon with Flareon... but Flareon won't ever beat the Specs version though. It is underappreciated... and if Gamefreak would have given it something like Flare Blitz to take advantage of its wicked 130 base Attack (why Lava Plume???)... maybe it could have been a lot more useful. Just maybe. Oh, and it was able to learn Zap Cannon back in GSC but it can't do that anymore. Back when Shadow Ball was physical, Flareon was a great Psychic slayer thanks to that 130 Attack and 110 SpDef (the ghosts had very low attack power).
 13. I still haven't gotten the chandelier yet. Seriously spending time to do 300K worth of walking isn't exactly feasible in my opinion. Although, I know one member here who did (UnderXRay). I have almost everything else... including the two statues, the table with tea set, the clock, and the piano...
 14. Finally someone picks Flareon! Yeah, in my new Platinum file, I decided to make my Eevee into a Flareon. So far, she's been doing great and has been one of my most valuable Pokemon to use, even defeating Volkner's Jolteon one on one.
 15. Because it would conflict the possible PID for Latias. That PID problem can be bypassed via breeding, where Pokemon that hatched out of eggs don't care whether their PID matches its nature/IVs or not. Latias, however, cannot be bred, so she has to follow the rules of PID and all >.<

 19. Thanks for the testing, but as Syberia pointed out earlier whether Scizor survives or not is irrelevant because Scizor can't do anything to Ho-oh anyways
 20.

In game? Swellow or Fearow... really... but Fearow isn't that great either.

 21. Azumarill isn't exactly THAT frail Gold, but no one EVs it to be defensive, so you're right in some way. I'll agree with everyone here... Ho-oh belongs in Ubers and should stay uber. While that W4 to Rock looks bad on paper, you'd have to take into account what Ho-oh CAN actually do before dismissing it as OU. Ho-oh is capable of phazing if I remember correctly so Suicune can be thwarted, not to mention Ho-oh has Punishment to deal with CM types. Also, Ho-oh can be geared to do many things, such as Pressure stalling, physical sweeper, CM sweeper... and those stats aren't anything to frown about. Sure, with the overusage of Kyogre in Ubers, people just don't use Ho-oh as much, but that doesn't mean Ho-oh should be brought down to OU. It'll mess up standard so badly with its high burn rate and will recover off damage as it pleases. And I don't think I've ever seen Ho-oh carry a Grass move... but that's most likely because it's seen on the Uber metagame... but yes, let's take that into consideration. From a base 110 SpA, it can surely wreak havoc against stuff like Swampert or Rhyperior...
 22. Poll over. I'm surprised how Blaziken has more fans than Infernape o_O New weekly poll here: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3445
 23. Two plant Pokemon of the old times... quite obscure nowadays because everyone is busy staring at the new more powerful Grass Pokes... [sprite]071[/sprite] [shinysprite]071[/shinysprite] VICTREEBEL GRASS/POISON HP: 80 Atk: 105 Def: 65 SpA: 100 SpDef: 60 Spe: 70 BST: 480 Advantages: - Has good attack power for both sides of the spectrum - Can boost both its physical and special attack in some form - Chlorophyll boosts its speed to insane levels - Decent speed for a grasser - Learns a variety of status moves to disable its foes - Learns Sleep Powder earlier than other grassers - Has some powerful physical and special attack on its side - Can learn Leaf Storm and Leaf Blade, and can be useful in a mixed set Disadvantages: - It is very frail and cannot survive Moltres's Fire Blast like it used to back in RBY when its special was 100 - Its movepool is rather lacking and can only resort to Solarbeam/Sludge Bomb/Leaf Blade/Return/Sucker Punch for its attacks (and it doesn't get Gunk Shot or even Poison Jab while other random stuff get it) - Growth is too slow for pumping up Special attacks - Stays with Vine Whip for the first few levels of it being Bellsprout for its STAB attack... and has to wait until it becomes a Weepinbell until it learns Acid... and learns Razor Leaf SO late - Outclassed by a few others like Leafeon and Tangrowth for physical sweeping and Vileplume in special sweeping (it has the defenses to actually set up) - Rather forgotten due to the other grassers out there [sprite]045[/sprite] [shinysprite]045[/shinysprite] VILEPLUME GRASS/POISON HP: 75 Atk: 80 Def: 85 SpA: 100 SpDef: 90 Spe: 50 BST: 480 Advantages: - Sturdier than its counterpart - Can utilize the Sunnybeam set more effectively due to its bulk - Chlorophyll can help it outspeed things with the sun - Is able to use status moves to disable its opponents - Can act as a cleric with Aromatherapy Disadvantages: - Slower than Victreebel and isn't geared to be a sweeper - Has a limited movepool - Does not have good physical moves to use unlike its counterpart and is therefore relegated to a few roles - Outclassed by other good grassers such as Celebi - Absorb is its first move... and it doesn't learn much else until it becomes a Gloom - It learns Sleep Powder later than Bellsprout, but that's almost a nonissue - Requires an event to get Leech Seed on it - Rather obscure and people forgot about it Vote which one you like and give a reason why. I like both, honestly, to tell you the truth, but since I always start off partial... I'll pick Victreebel because of old nostalgia sake I used one in my Blue team... and in Leaf Green I used one with Swords Dance + Sludge Bomb back when Sludge Bomb was physical.
