In essence, it's supposed to be equal political rights (although affirmative action is BS) and general respect. It's not so black/white, because the term "feminism" has a different term for everyone... Unless you are defining a literary term, very few things have the same meaning to someone. Feminism should have just been equal political rights and general respect, but like a whole slew of other things, it's been corrupted with other wants or desires. The media in particular has successfully portrayed feminism to be a certain way that tells us it's a bad thing, and on the other hand it's portrayed the message that it is beneficial to society. Is it? Well, in terms of politics, it's reasonable to have a women's opinion on something lest it's not bias (strictly women POV) and reasonable. There's nothing wrong with that. On the other hand, women supremacists are not good... It all depends on the person.</p></p></p></p></p></p>
