<p><p><p><p><p><p>You do realize that "women showing individuality" is also evident in males. Now that gender roles, while still part of a society, are being broken down as a whole. Men are becoming less masculine as well. It is becoming more and more frequent for men to behave outside of their gender role, while some men are even actual fathers. Of course, it is probably less focused on because "women are this/that/feminism", but it's there for sure. So when you say "women are destroying themselves", men are too, but at a slower rate. I suppose it's kind of because women feel the need to do more because they want to get noticed, and throughout Canadian history in particular did "boyish" things that got attention everywhere. Now that being boyish is not really rare, some do it, some don't... Sure, men won't dress in high heels and wear women's clothing, but will behave more femininely. Even before feminism, women were not considered "people" and were still objects...</p></p></p></p></p></p>
