  1. They are illegal. The only currently obtainable Mew in BD/SP is shiny locked. The game won't forbid you from trading those hacks online between friends, but there's no way to legitimately obtain a shiny Mew.
  2. I mean with old Pokémon once they're able to be transferred to BDSP (they likely will when HOME support comes, even if only Pokémon up to Arceus, according to what we got from datamining).
  3. To elaborate a bit on @Kaphotics' answer: BD/SP will get HOME support eventually, and datamining finds suggest that they will be able to receive Pokémon from earlier games, as long as they're present in BD/SP (National Dex number up to 493). We do not know yet if Sword/Shield will be updated to support Pokémon that come from BD/SP, either species currently in Sword/Shield or species that they may surprise us and re-add like they did with the release of Isle of Armor and Crown Tundra. When HOME support comes, if our current suspicions come true, it's likely that PKHeX will be able to replicate the native .pk8 to .pb8 conversion at that time. So I suggest you wait until then. Any interaction with Pokémon Legends: Arceus is also unknown at this time.
  4. Would this have happened with two old (Gen 4) Pokémon with the same PID but otherwise different? Say, two RNGd Pokémon with the same PID for IV/Nature purposes. I imagine it would be so, from the example at hand, but maybe this should actually be tested
  5. It's been linked in this very thread by @SkyLink98: 3ds.hacks.guide
  6. Just in case @Halier Lockehart doesn't really understand the system: The Attack DV sets the gender. Higher means male and lower means female. The threshold varies with the gender ratio of the species. The only female Pokémon that can have max Attack are female-only species. Certain DV combinations make the Pokémon shiny, and 15/15/15/15 is not one of them, so shiny Pokémon can never have max stats in Gen 2.
  7. You're probably better off using a tailor-made Action Replay/Game Shark code to make your current HP 1 at the beginning of each battle (maybe with a key combination to trigger it, or something). I can't make you one myself, but there should be people around here with the skills to do so.
  8. Then you should go the gift route. Individual .pkm files are the same every time, while an in-game gift is generated when you redeem it, and is, as such, 100% the same as a legitimate Pokémon, provided you had received the Wonder Card back then and forgotten about it for years.
  9. Every Shadow Pokémon is obtainable again, including the first starter. If that's your concern, delete the generated Croconaw. The game will also obviously not account for anything generated, since the flags are stored elsewhere.
  10. https://www.irccloud.com/pastebin/rdxEbTm4/ EDIT: Ninja'd with the download links, sorry
  11. I'd hazard a guess that WISHMKR Jirachi is probably in PKHeX's event database, it's probably easier if you just use that one. If you want to make it shiny, you'll need to look up PID/IV tables
  12. Yup, it came out a few minutes after I replied
  13. @theSLAYER @Kaphotics as pointed out in another topic by @dji, this also affects the GameCube games, at least Colosseum, and I ran into the same issue today.

    Coliseo pkhex

I ran into the money issue today too! I've just started a Colosseum playthrough on my phone, and when I edited the save to give myself some items, my cash went down to 0. No big deal, since, well, I gave myself the items, but there's something wrong, and I hope nothing else is corrupted.
  15. Hi! I've been using PKHeX for years, and I believe this is a newly introduced bug. I have a European 3DS, and all my extracted gamesaves and Pokémon now say "Americas (NA/SA)" in the region field. If I manually change it to Europe, the Pokémon then throw an error saying "Country is not in region" (and Portugal is, in fact, in Europe ).
  16. Just to add to what @theSLAYER said: this works for transfers that would legitimately be allowed in the real games. That is: back and forth between Gen 1 and 2 (for Gen 1 Pokémon) Gen 3 to Gen 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8 Gen 4 to Gen 5, 6, 7 or 8 Gen 5 to Gen 6, 7 or 8 Gen 1, 2 or 6 to Gen 7 or 8 Gen 7 to Gen 8 Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee to Gen 8 This always assumes a non-dexited Pokémon if going into Gen 8, of course, and any transfer to Gen 8 will technically be illegal without a HOME tracker.
  17. Glad to hear it's working. Just a heads-up: most of your Pokémon are corrupted. I've seen, for example, an Ivysaur nicknamed GYARADOS with moves that actually matched a Gyarados. So it'll probably be a while before you have everything back up and running
  18. If @SkyLink98's file loads up well in PKHeX, I might be able to get it to proper working condition. I'll try and let you know. As for my file running normally: yeah, in mGBA it did, despite most Pokémon having garbage names.
  19. As far as I can see, the best course of action would be to extract all those Pokémon to .pk2 files. Afterwards, create a new Pokémon Crystal save, edit it in PKHeX so that your name and ID match, insert all those Pokémon with PKHeX, then play through the game again to have a finished save. Or just download a finished save and edit the info to match yours. Both would work. I'll play around with your file anyway and see if I can get it to run. EDIT: I managed to make it run and save in mGBA. You still have a lot of corrupted Pokémon, and the save file won't open in PKHeX so that we can batch export/import Pokémon (and PikaSav's .pkm files won't load in PKHeX), but at least it's playable. If I find any other solution, I'll let you know. Crystal.sav
  20. Just tested this out myself before posting. Working as intended. OP was just extremely lucky that a clean Level 5 and a Level 100 one would have the same Nature. My bad.
  21. I believe there is an error, though: if Met Level is 100, the Nature should always be the same (since it's based on current EXP and there's only one possible value for EXP at Level 100 for each species). PKHeX doesn't seem to be checking for this edge case.
  22. It's very hard to tell, especially if it was made shiny in the VC save before going into Transporter in the first place. Most Gen 1 Wild Pokémon can't be shiny, but since the game doesn't record a lot of data and Transporter sets the origin game to whatever VC game it was in right before Transporting, most could technically pass off as Gen-2-bred shinies. There's pretty much always an edge case that makes them technically possible.
  23. Now that's something I hadn't thought of. I spent hours fighting weak Pokémon with a Mew that could've been avoided
