@HaxAras, we have been trying to figure out if Surf/Fly Pikachu move was random based on one of the rands used for generation.  Since you have 2 of each, can you send me those and some that did not have fly/surf (if you have them).

The 6 files I sent you were the 2 Suft/Fly Pikachu and the (already public Rocks Metang) and Festa Metang. I'll send you the two non-surf/fly Pikachu I have later.

@ajxpk We talked about the trash bytes of the Rocks Metang I have in gen 3. I was searching through files on my PC earlier and found that it was uploaded as a gen 4 file to this website previously. I deleted it because I have it in gen 3. I just thought you might find that interesting.

Edit: In the gen 3 events contribution save, we have several (modified) 10th Anniversary Pikachu and my own English and Japanese Colosseum Pikachu. I don't remember the requirements for those or I might be able to get more if it's based on the GBA games and not the Colo save.

Thanks for sharing, more American 10 ANIV events are really a great addition to HaxAras's event compilation. It's all we've got from this event to preserve, since the actual distribution cart hasn't ever been leaked... yet.

I just wanna make a small correction. I wouldn't call it My event compilation. InsaneNutter started it and I joined in very early on. It's more of a community compilation as there's been quite a few contributors. I'm just the guy who took up the task of updating the project because I'm a no-life with too much free time.

(The only thing you can see if their fake is because of the ID. no but no one is gonna look into that!)

Every single thing he trades is fake. You don't need to look into the ID number. As soon as you check the OT, you'll know it's the guy who is a plague on WT, trading away his hacked garbage to unsuspecting people.

Awesome! I don't really know what the standard is, and I don't really want to be greedy or needy, but would it be one of the Pokemon listed? A couple of them? All of them? I feel like me asking for everything would be kind of rude of me, but I do sort of want everything :P. I know that this isn't something you have to do, and I appreciate you offering to do this for me. So if it's too much to ask for all of them, I totally get it. Also, should I just upload the save file to this thread?

The Pokemon on our save are clones. I can give you whichever ones you want. As many as your save can hold. I care very much about the gen 3 games and community. I want to preserve as much as possible. I'm sure you could upload/share the .sav wherever.

Sounds good. I can dump it tomorrow sometime. Is there a list or something of the saves that you have? And would you just load it with the Pokemon, then send me back the save or something? All of this if anyone can figure out if it's legit or not from the save.

I'm sure other people would have an easier time telling if they're legit but it should be easy enough to tell. I don't have a full list but here's some of the stuff off the top of my head.

    Spoiler

RUBY/SAPHIRE - Berry fix Zigzagoon & Japanese versions

    Rocks Metang

Ageto Celebi / Japanese and unreleased English Version

Colosseum Pikachu / Japanese and unreleased English version

Japanese Colosseum E-reader Pokemon and English versions.

    Mystery and Aura Mew

    DOEL and Space C Deoxys

    Jeremy Gengar, Tauros, Vulpix

    A handful of PCNY Pokemon

Wishmaker and Channel Jirachi and some Japanese ones.

    Hado Mew and Regi golems

    Mt.Battle Ho-oh, English and Japanese

    Jungle Tour Celebi

    Pokemon Box eggs

Pokemon XD: Elemental Hyper Beam Starters

Every base game in game trade Pokemon, UT at the lowest level in every language.

Some un-released /prototype Pokemon. Including all 28 Unown. I got all 28 myself but another persons Unown T is in the current save.

Some of the Island event Pokemon

Various (few) 10 ANIV, 10ANNIV and 10ANIV Pokemon.

I'm sure we'll be able to hook you up with something good, regardless if yours are real or not.

Hello! Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask, but I'm not sure where else to go. I recently bought a used GBA SP on eBay that came with a Pokemon Emerald cartridge. When I checked the save file, I noticed it had a bunch of 10th anniversary events. I contacted the seller, who told me that he bought it from someone about a year ago, and that he doesn't know anything about the events. Is there a way to check their legitimacy? Even if it's not 100%, anything helps. If there is, can someone who has no idea what they're doing, like me, do the test? If not, would someone here be willing to do it for me? I have the means to dump my save file, but I can't do it until tomorrow morning. Thank you!

There's a legit gen 3 event preservation project that would be very happy to have some new 10th anniv events. If they're legit and you're willing to share them, you could easily make use of all the event Pokemon on the saves we have. There's stuff way rarer than 10th anniv events on our project saves.

The community only survives if we work together and preserve what little is left.

    300 $ for the demos of Pokemon Ruby/Saphir/Emerald/FireRed/LeafGreen, it's really expensive :(

    Source: Ebay

These demo carts are no different than the regular carts. They just have the different label. (Other than Red Rescue Team and I have 3 of those and already dumped it and sent it to InsaneNutter over on Digiex.)

@HaxAras if you don't find people who have interest in doing this for you,
you may have to learn how to RNG for yourself.

So in the mean time, learn how to RNG on emulators for easier games first (to familiarize yourself with the relevant programs and details).
I've recently learnt how to RNG for Pokemon Emerald, in order to grab another japanese Mew.

A good place to start is this:

If you prefer guide with images, I've got it below:

      Reveal hidden contents

Purpose of this exercise is simply to familiarize you with the tools involved.

For my case, what I've done is, use RNG Reporter to find which frame gives shiny Mew.
    (in this case, frame 2655)
    capture1.PNG

In emulator, with emulator paused, advance to the required frame using Ctrl + N
Once at desired frame, hold down the button designated for A and unpause (Ctrl + P)
[lua script must be loaded; you'll see the frame advance here]
    Capture5.PNG

It's common to see not intended result.
    capture2.PNG

Check which frame this Mew belongs to.
    capture3.PNG

Using RNG Reporter, I found out that while my intended frame is 2655, I instead hit 2771.
    So to hit 2655, I need to hold down A at [2655 - (2771 - 2655)] = 2539

    Success!

    Capture4.PNG

Also, this was previously mentioned regarding retail Colo RNG: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/forums/topic/23999-how-to-abuse-rng-in-pokémon-colosseum/

(Sorry for the double post, I forgot to quote this too. I saw this on my phone earlier. It looked really comprehensive but I must be retarded or something. I just can't do anything involving math and I have little to no patience. So stuff like this and emulators blows up in my face repeatedly and everything I do fails, so I waste what free time I have and get nothing out of it. I'll give it a read and if I can even comprehend it, I'll give it a try.

    EReader pokes can be shiny?

I'm pretty sure in either the original "Colosseum "Beta/Unreleased Room" thread or Zerbe92?'s thread there was a link to some Japanese guys page who got them shiny as well. Sorry I don't have a link. I'm easily sun-blinded by light and can barely see anything. My vision is incredibly spotty. (I wish this site had a dark theme)

Without these Japanese Tools RNG on real Hardware is impossible.
Besides even adjusting to RNG just one Pokemon can even take many hours.
And it includes working with the internal GCN Clock, catching Pokemon and documenting to figure out the Seed... which is a pain.
It's much easier to do on an Emulator, since you can make Savestates and even can get a view into the current Memory.
I know you're not a friend of Emulators but for this I would highly recommend to use one.

I won't be RNG'ing. I'm leaving that up to somebody else if I can find them. I can easily back up my Colosseum save and send it to them and put their save on my memory card and scan in the cards to the save using my E-reader.

  11. I know it's possible to RNG Pokemon Colosseum mons. I've seen a few different videos and sources of it. So I'm trying to find a partner to work with. I have the ability to play Colosseum in every language and I have the Japanese E-reader cards so I can get the Colosseum E-reader Pokemon in every language.

If I can find somebody who can RNG, we can work together to get a unique set each of Colosseum E-reader Pokemon shiny.

Yes, you can easily dump the sav like Sun/Moon demo ones.

No you can't get other region COLOS Pikachu and AGATE Celebi, that's what I tell.

In my opinion just changing the region of the sav is much more simple.

Guess I'll be re-playing the demos and dumping the saves and Pokemon.

I do not wish to change the region of my .sav. I want all of my Colosseum E-reader Pokemon to have unique PID/TID/SID. So I'll be going through all the different languages for myself and I'm getting a set for each of my close friends.

To download the other you just have to dump the ORAS sav of other regions.

I have my own french COLOS Pikachu and AGATE Celebi but the gift does'nt change upon regions (that's the difference with the Scizor, Mareep and Togepi) you only need different roms to get different langages and adapt the sav.

@theSLAYER If Pokemon XY demo was online can we predict its ID based upon the other demo ID or not?

I have the English ORAS Demo. I just didn't know it would allow you to dump the save and rip them. I'll have to get the English ones later.

I also didn't know you could get other region COLOS Pikachu or AGATE Celebi. I have no idea what "Doesn't change upon regions" is supposed to mean. I have English and Japanese copies. If it works with other languages I can get French and Spanish next.

I don't need different roms. I have a Spanish copy of Colosseum and it allows me to select the language in options. If I have a complete French save, I can just load the save up and collect the French Pokemon. (After 6~ hours of battling.

  14. Are those demo Pokemon French? If so, it would be cool to get them in other languages.

I think you downloaded my English E-reader Pokemon. If you provide me with non-English/Japanese, completed saves of Colosseum, I can get the other languages quicker.

Did you download my COLOS Pikachu and AGATE Celebi?

So the last question is, were there region restrictions on these WCs? Gold Ursaring has a japanese wish farfetch'd egg.

You said it's name was Japanese, right? But it's un-hatched. So I really have no idea what you're trying to say. I have all the gen 3 carts in English, Japanese : Ruby in French and RSE in Spanish. I can easily trade the eggs between languages and as I said before, the name of the egg should change language if I remember correctly. Wouldn't it follow that the name of the Pokemon inside would just be based off the language of the game?

I took English eggs from Pokemon Box and traded them over to a Japanese save to hatch them because I was too lazy to boot up my Japanese copy of Pokemon Box. They hatched Japanese.

If that's not what he did/what you're asking about then I really have no idea how else we would test this or know.

Being expected to make everything available for free, even though you may have spent hard earned money on the things you collected. And when you do make stuff available for free, in the end not even receive a single honest Thank You, but instead be insulted. Yes, this does happen alot.

Besides the lack of a thanks, that applies to me. I have other reasons but these people in a lot of cases are a plague. I don't 'expect' anything from them but they're also damn near impossible to work with.

I've always been a fair and honest person. I go the extra mile for any project I can contribute to. I don't see the value in keeping rare things hidden out of greed to the point where nothing is known about them and most people don't even know they exist.
