They don't have any OT at all yet. I extracted the data as it was found in the RAM. Origin Game, Met Location, Met Date and OT are only set when you actually catch the Pokemon, else those are blank. Ralts' and Zigzagoon's ID/SID are both set to zero, for wild Pokemon ID/SID are already the players.
That's fascinating. Does the data get filled in when you import them to your game?

Edit: there is a lot of untranslated japanese text in the english version. The first one I saw is about Ageto.
The Japanese Colosseum Pre-order disk is in the Colosseum data and it's only half translated. I managed to gain access to it using codes from the Cutting Room Floor. Maybe that's what you discovered?

Here's the chasing Poochyena you're looking for.
Somehow I can't find Wally's Ralts or the Zigzagoon he got from Dad anywhere in the RAM.261 - Poochyena - 5078BFBECF24.ek6
EDIT:
And here are Wally's Ralts as well as Norman's Zigzagoon!280 - Ralts - 4C458D014358.ek6
263 - Zigzagoon - 13887F03D7C6.ek6
Unfortunately they are all just as random as any other wild Pokemon.
Do these Pokemon have OT's? For example, is the OT data Norman or is it just the players?
That was kinda why I always wanted Steven's Pokemon and possibly the other peoples Pokemon you battle with in gen 4. You can go to the stat summary and see their moves and OT and ID and all their data and I always wished I coulda kept them or used them.

All Pokemon were deleted from the PC/ Parties with the exception of 2 placeholder, hacked Ivysaur I just made in A-save. The Mystery Gift data should be intact and exactly as they were last year when the saves were shared. I'm not sure what else you guys might have wanted from that post.

Thanks! It's always helpfull to check for the data from different distributions and see if nintendo used the same rom.
Also, about the imported carts I was asking because some months ago Maveon posted this:
Unfortunately the forums were hacked shortly after that and were down for 2-3 weeks (if I recall correctly) and after the forums were back Maveon didn't come back.
ps: not related to gen 3, but do you happen to have any gen 1/2 Mew/Celebi from Mexican distributions? Are you looking for their save? I probably still have it. I was using Triggers PC to shiny hunt last year. So I was collecting save files to use. They didn't want their Pokemon being released so it's probably in my 'private' saves folder. if I still have it.
Edit: I have a Leaf Green save downloaded on 11-10-16. That's probably it.
Edit 2: Yeah, they're his. Leaf Green and Emerald, marked as from Mexico. I looked at his posts and he said he was from Mexico. Kinda lines up, doesn't it?

I found this video on YouTube talking about cut trainer rosters. Yeah, they're NPC Pokemon but they're un-used so I figured that might interest you.

I got homebrew working on mine with the 11.2 payload. Just I'm waiting for NTR CFW to be fixed up for 11.4.
I don't know jack about homebrew and I really hate messing with it/modding consoles. It's a damn nightmare. I thought I had Pokemon in bank so I updated for peace of mind. Turns out I didn't and now I can't use Soundhax anymore so I will just have to wait.

@HaxAras I'll try to get the other 2 teams but I can't promise.
About the Shroomish : The good news is that myself from the past have done a backup hopefully, that bad news is that even with it doesn't work for the moment.
I don't understand what's wrong with the demo. I have it on my console as well and could play it but I recently updated my 3DS so I can't deal with homebew at the moment.

Thanks, the problem for the moment that I don't know how to dump the opponent pokemon. I have received a sgm with Carrie's P2 I'm a bit frustrated but I'll find.
Edit: I got them, pretty useless but I love Porygon2 (Now I want the shadow one ^^ )
(Sorry for the double post. Due to how this site handles quotes, I can't copy/paste this.)
Congrats, and you're welcome.
Do you have any intention of going for the other 2 teams? I bet I could use those in the Crytal Battle Tower and/Or Pokemon Stadium 2.

Discovered tonight that there is a link between Altering Cave and Funfiesta special mission.
According to this video GF previewed to invite players to "Wonder Spot" where they can download a Gen2 pokemon for Altering Cave. This was finally done during the unfamous Special Funfiesta Mission where players can download temporary special pokemon for their hidden grotto. Amazing
Edit: I have a challenge for you @suloku Can you try to get for me Carrie's Pokemon (especially the Porygon2) ? Because you must have Stadium 2 and the Mystery Gift to unlock it I can't do it.
So what you're saying is you need somebody with a complete gen 2 save/cart and access to Stadium 2 who last received a Mystery gift from the little girl? Gee, I sure hope somebody like that comes along. It would also probably be useful if they have a living dex too.
Let me know if somebody like that comes along.

Some of the eggs I have are not conforming to this algorithm. Specifically Teeter Dance Pichu that are not shiny, are coming up shiny. Not sure what is wrong.
Wouldn't they be shiny only on the original save they were intended for? Wouldn't it work like a reverse Manaphy egg?

IIRC Stamp Pokemon have all IVs of 0? Can someone confirm it for me? And reading through the code for NegaiBoshi, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that did happen since setting the flag to the wrong value would indicate you are providing IVs, when you might have meant to generate them.
EDIT: I might be thinking about E-card pokemon. The Colosseum E-reader mons have 0 IV's in all stats. Set genders and natures but they can be shiny.

First there are 3 exclusive E-reader Shadow Pokemon (Mareep, Togepi and Scizor).
Then for the 13 other mentionned well I don't know if they exist in the final game. I mean leftover texts mentionned them. Maybe if someone can "revive" cut trainers but I don't have the skill to do it. I hope someone here has it. It could be an awesome quest. I'd love to get shadow Porygon2 ^^
I don't know about adding to the "Shadow Pokemon Caught" count. I moved Trigger_Death's shadow mons to one of my saves and it maxed out at 51. But if you use the German Debug Ruby, you could give any Pokemon the correct ribbon and make a prototype/replica or whatever of sorts.
Here's an idea for a Pokemon you might find interesting. It's a trainer Pokemon. Sort of. I was thinking of the old man's Weedle from Fire Red and Leaf Green and remembered the "Teachy TV" and the guy in the videos and his LV.30 Butterfree. It probably doesn't have any data in the game but it's something you could look for.

If you think as Masuda-san or other employees: we want people to interact with others, to encourage them to go outside, to make memories with events;
I find it hard to have a memory with an event mon. The thing about Pokemon for me is catching, personalizing and building memories with my Pokemon. Events are locked into a set ball, can't be nicknamed or shiny (mostly), etc. They're usually high level like 70 or 100 so there's less time you get to raise them as well.
I can't have these kinds of memories with an event mon.↓

This is my rough understanding of the disassembly, but I'm missing things for sure, so propper understanding of the process data-wise would be great if someone is able to provide it.
ps: pokémon pikachu color apparently can always send gift, I suspect this is due to it sending ID 00000, but something else might be in place in the connection, like a direct skip of the 5 trainer a day limit.I have a brand new/sealed Pokemon Pikachu 2 I could open up if it would benefit research purposes. I also have a complete Pokemon Silver save, Stadium 2 and a transfer pack. I could provide you a backup of my save before and after receiving a Mystery gift as well as record it. If that's what info you're looking for and if this could be of use to you. I've always wanted to collect all the mystery gift items legit in gen 2 so this would just give me the motivation to check it daily anyway. I don't know much about the trainer house though.
Just let me know if I can be of some kind of help.

I'm actually watching a french interview of Masuda explaining why some Pokemon are shiny-lock and what event Pokemon mean.
According to him some Pokemon, mostly legendaries are shiny-lock for balancing, they don't want to create an over rarest class than legendaries.
Whereas event pokemon mean for them a memory.
That's why they can shiny, that's why there is so much serial codes to restrict the distribution.
"Instead of letting people get their own, personal legendary, we decided to make them worthless."
Anybody who tries hard enough can get any event Pokemon, but casuals are just SHOL. If you just happened to not have a console/game or be a few years late, good luck getting that mon you want. I always really despised them, for the way they handle mons like Mew and Jirachi, etc. I never understood why Celebi seemed to get it worst off. -

Now that you say it I recall only the togepi being uploaded. In any case, with a single PAL save it should be possible to obtain the 5 languages via save editing, just by having a save before each e-reader shadow pokémon.
How does it feel knowing that the second Spanish Togepi obtained with legit and official hardware will have your OT?

My spanish complete savegame can be found at gamefqs: https://www.gamefaqs.com/gamecube/914973-pokemon-colosseum/saves
The game language can actually be changed using a save editor, since we are only interested in the e-reader pokémon the same save could be used, it would be just a matter of changing language before capturing the e-reader pokémon (all this is already kind of non legit anyways).
But I recall the spanish ones where already dumped in the original thread covering e-reader pokemon obtaining in non jap games.
I wanted to take a look at this myself for some time, I may play a bit with dolphin today but I can't promise anything.
Ahh, good point. I just wanted them to have different ID numbers. See, I don't care what the "That's not legit" people have to say. You don't like it? DON'T ADD IT TO YOUR COLLECTION! Problem solved and piss off. With the English ones, I used Action Replay to teleport past the locked door. Then I used my official (pics above) E-reader cards and Japanese E-reader + to scan the cards into my save. They worked just fine. I'm assuming the room is still in the PAL rom since Zerbe92 got them all. I just don't know if the E-reader and cards will work with the PAL save. So I'll just have to convert your save to English, scan in the cards up until Togepi, save and then convert it back to Spanish and boot it up on my PAL copy of the game and catch Togepi.
I thought only a Spanish Togepi was uploaded. From what I seen when looking through my files after I edited this post, that is. Eventually, I want complete sets with the OT's HaxAras or Aras.

I need French, German, Spanish and Italian saves for Pokemon Colosseum. I intend to get all of the Colosseum E-reader mons in the various languages. I've heard with the games that you can't boot the save up outside of the language it was started in. (I have NA, PAL and JP copies of the game). I also have access to the COLOS/XD: Save editor.
My intention is to first see if the E-reader room will load/work with the PAL copy of the game. If not, I intend to convert the save to English/JP, fight the trainers up to the shadow Pokemon and then convert it back to it's original language and catch the E-reader mons.
I'm a bit lazy so it might take me a bit to get around to this. Any chance somebody with Dolphin and a PAL file of the game would be willing to help me run an experiment? I have 3 save backups (90% sure I made backups of my JP save before I caught the E-reader mons) . I'd change the file to your language and send it your way to see if it loads up fine in Dolphin and if you can catch the test E-reader mon. (I could do this myself. But I'd have to find the file, convert it, write it to my memory card and use my region free disk to boot up the pal copy and test it. Being the lazy mofo that I am, I don't want to so it might take another year before I bother.)
I will get these Pokemon, someday.
.
Oh yeah, 4 E-readers.
EDIT:
I'm attaching 2 of my Japanese save. One is titled "Save before E-reader" and one is titled "After catching E-reader" or some nonsense. If anybody could load them up and tell me where in the game they are, it would be so helpful, you don't even know. If the first one is before and E-reader trainer or the second has at least some trainers battled, it will save me a TON of time.
Edit 2: I feel like I should re-word that. You have to fight 65-70 trainers to get all of the E-reader mons. If either of those saves are right before an E-reader battle or have say caught one E-reader mon and is 10/25 fights into the next one, that's a ton of time saved for me. The reason I don't test this myself: I have multiple memory cards. Each with their own save files to deal with. As well as a region free disk (Yeah, I have a JPN console but I always take the path of most resistance.) that's really annoying to deal with. I figure it would take a lot less time for somebody who has Dolphin to boot up and do a test and let me know the results. If you want the 4 remaining E-reader mon languages, this is how you help me help you.

Respectfully, what would be the incentive trading pokemon like this? I understand that there are restrictions and benefits when trading pokemon in game. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Trade
3 hours ago, Kaphotics said:Trading between generations is only possible with Gen1 and 2, can't backwards convert for the other games.
When trading, the data is swapped. PKHeX doesn't swap data as it allows you to clone data. Just open two windows of PKHeX and drag drop between to facilitate a trade. You already have the save file data, just transfer a pkm and delete on the other save if you want to emulate a swap.
It would be a hell of a lot easier to do trade evolution Pokemon if there was some sort of way to trade using the tool. Yeah, you can just change the Pokemon to it's next evolution but isn't there some BS with "Latest not OT handler" in gen 6-7 which is annoying to deal with as well.

I got the Jirachi from Trainer Zala (Bonnie in french) based on the film Jirachi and the wishmaker (I also got the Flygon, Kirlia ... but they are not really interesting).
Is it a trainers Pokemon or is it hidden in the data somewhere?

Am I the only one who remembers the Teachy TV from Fire Red and Leaf Green? The old man gives it to you and it has tutorials. There's a video of a guy with a level 30 Butterfree. Am I the only one who is interested in this? I don't know the first thing about what you guys are doing or I'd rip the data myself.
Edit: @jojo12100 I remember hearing that the Pokemon Gold and Silver trainer house had un-used, lower evolution Pokemon for the rival? Or somebody. From what I heard, it was assumed you could get to the Trainer House earlier in the game but that was scrapped. Those could be some interesting Pokemon to rip.
