Sure! It's data that was targeted to the consumer all along from the beginning, so I would consider them "unreleased".

However the Azure Flute/Infernape debug test stuff is leftover data used only by the developers. Much like the Litwick, Bulbasaur etc. wondercards in some of the Gen 5 distribution roms.

I never heard of those before. If anybody has them and wouldn't mind sending them my way, they would much appreciated in my collection.

Unless the one other person who I know has them contributes his, (I can't remember how to spell his name) then I'll be contributing my E-reader Pokemon in every language as soon as I get them. My Spanish Colosseum disk has to arrive first.

It's just a leftover from the testing and debugging phase of the game. This wondercard was never meant to be released, so it's not an "unreleased event" in my opinion. The wondercard description also has the same text as the Old Sea Map wondercard from Pokémon Emerald, in case this wasn't mentioned yet.

Would you consider the English E-reader Pokemon from Colosseum un-released events or even legit? I used Action Replay on the GameCube to get into the room and then scanned in my Japanese E-reader cards. I've just considered them un-released events and perfectly legit. The data is in the cards/games.

Like we were talking about earlier, editing any DPP mystery gifts with PKHeX causes glitchy corruption. Any sort of edit will result in a glitch mess. It wasn't saving changes properly for me even when I cleared all the glitch wondercard data. PokeGen seems to always work fine though.

Though, I only extracted the Infernape .pkm from the wondercard itself with that old Gen IV wonder card editor. The Infernape .pcd is just the decchi Azure .pcd with the wondercard type changed to pokemon distribution.

Alright, I was skimming the emails yesterday but wasn't really able to follow most of it.

But I was also trying to give some Pokemon for a project cured Pokerus and had to do it about 15 times before it actually saved.

Is it actually possible to inject the wonder card into your save to receive the Infernape? From what I read before, Bulbapedia wouldn't care but wouldn't this means it's a "new" unreleased event that you guys discovered?

Changing the wondercard type to a pokemon distribution makes it show up as an Infernape. There's complete data for an actual Infernape hidden here. If the edited wondercard were to be injected in decchi, maybe it'll distribute.

    Decchi Infernape Test.pcd

    Decchi Infernape.pkm

How did you get the Infernape pcd to work? PKHex doesn't work for me. I was using it yesterday and every.single.time I click "Save" I click back whatever I was working on and random things I just did, didn't save. I was trying to inject it into my Japanese Platinum and it refuses to save anything I do in the Mystery Gift window.

I found a full size picture:

Talked to a friend/acquaintance who is living in Japan. This is what they had to say about this picture.
" Hmm, well the page seems to just be about Mew in general (implies it was the first publishing of any info on Mew). The event is a serial code in the bottom corner of the page, which I saw in some other pictures, but I didn't notice much data about the Pokemon itself. I'll focus on that and see if I can get more info."

Oh of course sorry complete dumb moment it would of been a picture of a previous event. Would really know why they have the 3 different diagrams but like you said it's probably about the event.

We can only guess. Who knows why they did anything the way they did back in the day. I highly doubt anybody was asking these questions or documenting any of this sadly.

Though honestly unless you like to keep comic magazines or want to grab the Mewtwo card, it'll be pointless to get it,
since it's not like we'll be able to redeem the Mew,
and the situation is likely as described by ajxpk

Eh, I like buying interesting things. It has a place in my collection so if the pictures would be useful to anybody, I can share those.

With the correct volume ID or dates, you may be able to grab the entire volume at an affordable price off Mandarake

(It's like a Megastore chain that ships out first or second hand japanese stuff.
It has many stores across Japan, and shipping can be combined when bought from same store.
Got Japanese Pokemon Cards and Gundams from there lol)

I wouldn't know what to search. If anybody could point me in the right direction or send me a link, I'd be happy to get them first chance I get.

For the record, you can get most of them straight from PKHeX ;)

Tools --> Database --> Mystery Gift

Right-click -- View one and it gets exported to tabs, it generates one for you based off the WC.

Some events are still missing (Meloetta is) but the bulk of it is there.

Are the Pokemon themselves missing or the wonder cards? I have the Meloetta wonder card on my games. I'm waiting for an SD card reader to show up so I can install the HomeBrew Chanel to my 3DS. Then I'll be able to backup my saves. I probably have a Meloetta in my events collection that's not part of my personal, uncloned collection.

Can someone gess the Mew level? I'd like to try and see if for any chance the DV can be calculated (maybe they distributed it at high level with 0 EV), but it doesn't seem to be at level 50 or 100.

I tried zooming in but it just got blurrier and blurrier. I contacted an Ebay Seller who is Japanese, lives in Japan and claims they have a lot of resources and can track stuff down. I asked them if they could track down that issue of the magezine for me to purchase. Fingers crossed. If I can get it, I can take a lot more pictures at different angles.

I don't think our gallery (or for legality checking) has definitive copies of all of these pokemon in each language, nor the actual e-reader files themselves.  I would love to collate all of this.  I would love it if all of you could extract what you have and we could include it (with your authorship) on the gallery.

    Thanks everyone!

What exactly do you need? I made my Japanese copies public. I made my Japanese save file public and I'm pretty sure I have a save file right before capturing Scizor as well. I wanted to try to get a shiny one but I don't know anything about RNG.

When I actually get my Spanish copy of the game, I can start getting the European copies of the Pokemon and contribute mine.

I currently have 5 sets of these Pokemon.

2 Japanese sets in gen 4 I downloaded from this site.

    My own personal Japanese set.

    trigger_death's which I downloaded above

My own personal English set. (So far, I've kept these between me and my best friend.)

I'll try to contribute as many as I can. It just takes hours to fight all the trainers.

  12. I've been wondering. I heard somebody (ajxpk?) Say that the game can't be booted up outside of the language it was started in. Specifically the story if I remember correctly. But I could just use the Colo/XD editor to change the save language, play the save using my NA copy and then convert it back to catch the Pokemon. That's my goal anyway. At the very least, I have video proof that the Japanese E-reader and cards work with the North American copy of the game so as long as the region conversion works.

Been a long time since I've been on here lol

@Sabresite I've got the English E-Card Pokemon extracted from the saves if still needed, I've also have all the other languages if need but I'll need to find those saves and extract them.

Beat me to it I guess. I just recently ordered a Spanish copy of Pokemon Colosseum and if what everybody kept telling me is true, I should be able to select the language because it's a PAL copy of the game.

Yeah, like they're not completely legit since they were never released, but they're not completely hacked either since Nintendo themselves made them.

GAMESTP Celebi was a really interesting one since it wasn't meant to be given out, but people got it legitimately anyway (if Nintendo considers changing the date on the distribution DSes as legitimate, lol.)

There's also the AGATE Celebi and COLOS Pikachu. And probably the Colosseum E-reader mons. The door to the E-reader room is locked in the English games but if you can get in there, the Japanese E-reader and cards work with the North American games.

From what I understand, Bottle Caps don't change the actual IV values, it's just kind of like a cloak that makes them act as if they were maxed out. So for example, a maxed stat of 31 would still be 24, just not act as 24.

I can't really tell if transferring to PokeBank is going to reset this or not.

I get that part. But is it a temporary thing? If I trade it to another game or power down my game or whatever, would I have to use another cap later. Or is it a permanent addition to my Pokemon like Pokerus, a ribbon or a shiny crown?

IVs won't matter once Bank gets updated for Sun and Moon thanks to Bottle Caps. You'd only need to worry about Natures.

Are bottle caps a permanent increase to stats? I have those Colosseum E-reader mons and a 5IV shiny Feebas. It would be cool to make Feebas perfect and those Colo mons not suck.

What about gen 3, 4, 5 and 6 though? Couldn't the 10th anniversary Pokemon be used as Battle Tower mons?
