Sorry what do you mean/what are you trying to get?

Sorry, I was walking to Subway and using my phone. I was trying to get shiny eggs. To see if any of the personality values matched my saves and I could hatch them shiny. Maybe we could reverse engineer shiny ID's.

We're already sharing Pokemon with a personality value. I don't wanna share ID numbers too. But, I figured it out.

  2. Side note. Ignore what I said before about all of the in game trade Pokemon having 0's for their secret ID. Apparently the Emerald version Meowth and Plusle have their secret ID as 00001 in every language and the Colosseum/XD: In game trades have secret ID's. The Hordel Elekid has a secret ID and my 2 Duking Larvitar (different genders) have different secret ID's. Meditite and Shuckle have secret ID's as well.

    Thank you!

I wasn't gonna cry. I was just saying that's more effort than I'm willing to put in. I'd love to have them in my collection but playing through the earlier games in Japanese is a nightmare.

Do you have the gen 3 in game trades? I have a complete collection of Ruby/Sapphire and Emerald in every language and most of the English Colosseum/XD Pokemon.

Basically what theSlayer and I said, it's a pretty simple set up. I just don't have patience to RNG stuff. That's why I literally can't breed and soft reset for shinys or good IVs without getting impatient and irritated.

Also, they all seem to be in Poke Balls. I know it was originally noted to be in a Great Ball, but I don't think that's the case unless there's a rare chance it'll have a different ball(doubt it). Also, the mail it is holding is nothing but "???????????", so it's not that important.

I didn't even think of the mail! I was able to store them in Triggers PC without problem. I deposited them into a Fire Red party and I couldn't "Take mail from party" or move the Pokemon from the party. I might have to put them in the party and physically take the mail and save the game. Then deposit it into Triggers PC.

Some people actually collect the the various pieces of 'special' mail. Believe it or not. :)

No sorry but you can do it if you want. I'm sure people will appreciate it.

Now it's time to find the lv5 Rhydon ! ^^

I don't have Japanese copies of the gen 1 games. I tried playing Red once and it was insufferable. Having to translate every item and remember all my Pokemons moves. Screw that nonsense. It was bad enough the two times I did that with Colosseum and at least that was to let people use my save to get Ageto Celebi.

Thank you guys!  I was trying to remember if I read something about e-reader in other languages (german, etc)? Is this a thing? And do we know of copies of them anywhere?

Zerbe92 was able to get them in every language. I purchased a Spanish copy of Colosseum and was told PAL copies could be loaded in any language. I intend to test that out. If that's the case, you'll have at least 2 sets in every language.

Has anybody done any research into RNG manipulation on these Pokemon? I'd love to work together to get each of us a set of shinnies.

Just to note a few things about the Unown...

First, not sure why OP listed it at level 15, but they all seem to be set at level 21, mine and theSlayer's. Second, location met seems to always reflect where you were when you received the first Unown. I was in Lilycove, and theSlayer said he was in Petalburg. However, every time I send a new Unown to the same savefile, even if I fly to different cities, it's still Lilycove. Third, stats and form seem to be random everytime. If anyone wants to go full mental, you could attempt to generate each of the 28 forms to have all forms uploaded.

Also, for those having trouble with VBALink, 1.7 never lets you do link cable trades, but 1.8 will. Follow the instructions in my first post, and make sure you don't have wirless adapter checked off for link connection, and that you have it set to not pause in inactive windows. The 10ANNIV rom is another story. It works in 1.8, but not the way it should.

I'd be the person mental enough to try it. But I really believe that the processes required to get the Unown is beyond me. Trust me, I'd love nothing more than to have a complete set of these things.

For the record, you can also just drag the .pk3 into a Gen. 6 save in PKHeX and it will do the transfer for you.

The problem I've had with doing that is if they can be deposited into bank but not be sent through Poketransfer. I don't wanna get banned from bank if they catch the Pokemon and I have to keep them separated from all my other Pokemon so I don't accidentally mix them up and try to put them in bank. But that's what I'll do if I have to. Did anybody ever try to migrate a Meteor Jirachi through Poketransfer?

Ok thanks that doesn't matter, I used pk2pk to transfer in my Gen 6 sav, but it's interessting to notice, maybe for future Rom-hacks

Anyway RNG the Pikachu egg is harder than I thought and I still don't progress in the debuggers pokemon. I'm so frustrated >:(

Did you try to pass it through legit methods? I'd like these in my gen 6-7 saves as well if possible and I'd like to do it with legit methods if possible.

You just gotta be patient. We will get there eventually. Look how much progress these guys have made with these discoveries in the last few days alone.

No problem, it's totally out of my comprehension but what motivates me is that there is the first ever made pokemon in Japanese versions: a lv5 Rhydon !

Do you have any intention to go for the in-game trades or the un-used in-game trades? I'd love to have those in my collection as well. I took some screenshots from a YT video to make replica's of them but it would be awesome to have the real thing.

Does anybody know if there's any prototype Pokemon in the Stadium or Colosseum/XD: games as well? What about Pokemon Box? Any more undocumented in game trades? People seem to have known about these for years and neglected to mention then. Now I'm super curious.

    10ANNIV pkm have SID 0.
I think it's possible to RNG SID 0, right?

I wouldn't know a thing about RNG. I just clicked on a Pokemon Emerald, in game trade Skitty and even it has a secret ID of 0.

Edit: All my in-game trades, all my PCNY Pokemon, etc. have 00000

    Go download the latest No$GBA,
it allows link on the same emulator (basically open on emulator, and you can both games running at the same time, linked)

Once you use it, you'll probably get it.
(Sav format change to raw because no$gba default is compressed save, becoming not compatible with PKHeX and other emulators)

Alright, thanks. I might give it a try later today but it honestly sounds like a headache. VBA gives you trouble? Technology in general seems to do every single thing it can to screw with me and mess up my day and waste my time.

  13. 1 minute ago, theSLAYER said:

I'm using No$GBA, since VBA M hates me.
(VBA M could connect with each other for trading, or connection with Dolphin for Event dumps, and even Aurora Ticket for Wireless, but fails on me for this and 10ANNIV)

So I've been using No$GBA on this and 10ANNIV.

    So tips on using No$GBA:
    1. You can set different controls on Keyboard for Player 1 and Player 2
    2. Remember to edit the .ini (via Notepad) to save SAV/SNA File Format == Raw
    3. Back up the .ini file
    4. do not set the config ini to autosave.
    5. GBAbios file is needed for 10ANNIV use, so the option Reset/Startup Entrypoint is needs to be changed to GBA/NDS bios by clicking OK,
but don't Save Now or Save Options, as doing so will corrupt the Config .ini

It is easier to change Reset/Startup Entrypoint per 10ANNIV transfer as opposed to resetting the entire config every play-thru.
[by clicking OK, you get GBA bios load during play-through, but since it doesn't go into .ini, it won't corrupt it, so it's a temporary on this play-through)

So that's all the advice I can give for No$GBA

Well, thanks for the instructions. Hopefully somebody can use them. For me personally, I have no clue what any of that means.

Using a program called Lunar IPS, you can create or patch a file.

So for example, if we both had the same copy of the debug Rubin,
If you use my patch, it'll now send out Luvdisc instead of Unown.

So basically the .ips changes your file for you, so you don't have to go through Hex Editor yourself to do the changes.

(how patches are made is the program compares a modded and unmodded file)

Do you use it with VBA? I saw you guys talking about using two different instances of VBA, something I've never been able to get working. It would be awesome to have a personalized Luvdisk if I can get as, as opposed to changing the stats of another.

  15. Just now, theSLAYER said:

did what glitch out the first time, the unown?
The first Unown wasn't uploaded by me.
The Second Unown (mine) didn't glitch at all.

    If referring to Luvdisc,
Once I did as @BlackShark said, it didn't glitch and I got the Luvdisc successfully on first try.
But I decided to go with a less personal OT/TID/SID generated by separate Ruby Save to acquire Luvdisc, which is now permanently up there.

If referring to Pikachu, I'm about to try now.

Oh, I thought it was supposed to have the OT of Ruby. I still have the original one. I'll just go ahead and change it to match one of my own Ruby saves. Then the only thing that would be the same is the stats. I gotta admit, it will be pretty awesome to have an unreleased/prototype Pokemon with me as the OT. Also, sorry I was so vague about that.

  16. 2 minutes ago, theSLAYER said:

My that OT is Zeath (a super old save of mine).

Yup, I changed my locations, and it seems like it followed my location.
(had to go to Petalburg to enable Mystery Event. The Lilycove one wasn't done by me)

Well it isn't legal to get inside of the truck,
because we won't have Mystery Event active at that point (needed to get to Petalburg to set the codewords).

And with Luvdisc done, now this:

The statement they used is: IVs are randomized, so there may be a 1/65536 chance that the checksum really would be $0000,
I'll say if one can figure out the IVs necessary to get checksum to be 0000,
I'll say we may be able to RNG this, as opposed to let it generate over 65535 bad eggs for the slim probability it'll be not bad.

With 90% Confidence, it'll take you 150,902 tries before you get the working Pikachu egg.

So did it glitch out the fist time? The second one still has a secret ID and different stats but otherwise looks the same.

Would that be 150,000 RNG attempts or would it be possible to automate it?

  17. The two Unown have different natures, IV's, and stats all around as well as shapes. I wonder if it generates them all unique? Unless your OT is "Zeath" Luvdisk is generated like it's a person's Pokemon since it actually has a secret ID, unlike all the events I've seen and Unown.

Edit: The Luvdisk says it was met at Petalburg city and the two Unown say they were met at Lilycove (L) and Petalburg (T) So I'm assuming their met location is based on your in game location at the time.

Too bad they didn't leave a Mew in there that we could get at the start of the game. I always thought it would be hilarious to have a Mew with the met location "Inside of Truck".

  18. 15 minutes ago, theSLAYER said:

Well I can get a connection running on No$gba, and I got an Unown (Icognito).

I think to get Luvdisc, some shenanigans needs to be done (like, maybe some code to force the different script to run).

I'll say it can't be done without jumping through some hoops, and I'll like to know what hoopa to use.

Any chance you'd share the Unown?

  19. 29 minutes ago, theSLAYER said:

Quote from glitchcity: None of the functions on the Mimic e-Card menu access this data. I guess nobody actually wants a Luvdisc—not even the developers…

    how do we activate this?

I don't care how bad it is. I want the Luvdisk. I want all leftover/prototype/dev Pokemon hidden in the games.

  20. I'd previously only shared these with my best friend and intended to keep my original set to myself. But in the spirit of sharing (and research) and because of what @Zerbe92 has done, I'm sharing my English set as well. The Japanese ones have already been posted elsewhere but I thought I'd include them. (Missing but shared elsewhere are trigger_death's English E-reader mons.)

    Cheers!
