  1. I'm pretty sure the consensus was that all the distro carts received a copied save file from a single master cart; only 420(?) different ones were generated. Pokécheck used this knowledge to verify the uploaded Mews.
  2. Reformatting/new SD/different 3DS => different encryption. Old files will be unreadable as the encryption keys changed.
  3. Use svdt instead of save_manager, you probably saved ingame between dumping and finishing edits.
  4. Why does Microsoft not support Windows 2000? Tubehax is almost as outdated as ram2sav. You'd need to find a browserhax tutorial. If you want an old version of PKHeX, you can always compile the source code from any point in time.
  5. Why did you name it 'main.bin'? Be sure you are exporting correctly (via the Export SAV...)
  6. 9/20/15 vers is fine for those who wish to still use an outdated method (homebrew/etc). By removing ram2sav I don't have to worry about edge cases for future improvements (and new games).
  7. Powersaves backups are just rips from the cart, as encrypted data. The only way to decrypt that is with the original cart. Do you have any battle videos saved? You can always extract pkm out with homebrew/KeySAV2, and insert them to your new game.
  8. Remove any downloaded patches.
  9. Homebrew and svdt allow you to edit saves.
  10. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?41681-Time-Capsule-Transfer-Tool-(-pk2pk-) Alternatively, just use homebrew and directly go 3->6 with PKHeX.
  11. No. Any CRO file edits will prevent the game from loading.
  12. Again, all you have to do is write the form number in the box to the right of the drop-down. Illegal mode saves the textbox, not the drop-down.

    PkHex Questions

    1) Import your save data with what? Importing to PKHeX ensure you're opening your "main" file, importing back to the cart ensure that "main" is the only file in the folder. 2) Encrypted data, used for inserting with RAM injection, obsoleted by QR codes (still exists for research purposes) 3) Not related.
  14. Added in latest commit.
  15. Remove any installed patches, they overwrite game content.
  16. See Issue #70.
  17. Be sure you are using the latest posted version. I was unable to replicate your issue.
  18. Correct, some forms are cosmetic only and all attributes are the same.
  19. Nope.
  20. PKHeX should generate the data exactly like the game would; no need to receive it ingame.
  21. The way the game stores the number is unknown; can't translate it to a human readable format unless someone figures out how it works.
  22. Random mega checkbox was discussed two pages ago. Since form=31 does not work for Megas, I've since changed it to randomly pick between the default/mega/(mega2) forms. Should be noted that the code was unintentionally short-circuiting providing form=31 randomization regardless of Mega or not, this update reverts that.
